Moon nodded as he rose to his paws and shook his fur. "If that is what you want." he said simply. "What do you want to take with you now?" He asked him as his ear twitched listening to the man on the other side of the door. He knew a place Pierce would be safe. So long as it was what he wanted to do.

Pierce grabbed his backpack and he put clean clothes, books and some food in. He looked at Moon. "W-What else should I take?" he asked before he flinched at the unexpected loud snore from the man. Pierce whimpered fearfully and he started to grow nervous and scared. "M-Moon, a-are you s-s-sure that I'll be s-safe?" he asked. "Y-You won't let me get h-hurt, r-right?"

Moon looked at him. "Bring what you want to. Anything you might need we will get." He told him. He could sense Pierce's fear rising. "It's alright. I will not let anyone bring harm to you." he vowed firmly. If nothing else he was a being of his word. He would keep Pierce safe at all costs. Such was the promise he had made.

"Absolutely. Come on Burgundy," Noelle motioned at the fox to follow her, as best she could with the groceries in her hands. "So I just need to stop by the tech shop and pay to have the screen changed, then could you help me takes these home? I promise no one will attack you because you're from Chandler," Noelle said, smiling brightly as they started walking, Burgundy following, pretending it was his idea, not hers, to walk after them. He had a reputation to uphold you know.

In the park, Noelle's sister, Natasha, crashed through one of the bushes, scanning beyond the park to the houses on the other side. "Patricia, where did you say Josh lived?" She asked in a loud whisper. When no voice answered, she looked back over her shoulder; not seeing anyone, her head whipped around toward the closest sound of footsteps she heard. "Patricia!" Patricia came into Natasha's view from going around the bush, not through. "Oh God Patricia, do you want to get caught?" Natasha glared at her friend, through she might not consider her a friend after tonight if she got them caught.
"Natasha, this isn't right... we should just go back to my house; what if my parents come back early?" Patricia rubbed her arms, obviously a tad cold and not comfortable being there.
"Patricia," Natasha began, her tone condescending, as she stepped away from the bushes towards Patricia, "we're just going there to make-out; it's not like we're having sex or anything." Yet. "Stop being such a scaredy-cat. Besides," Natasha batted her eyelashes at Patricia, "you know that Jonathan's gonna be there."
Patricia smiled a bit, her blush visible to Natasha even in the dark, "Ye-yeah, but... my parents..." she replied lamely.
"The movie gets out in an hour, plus they're probably going to go to a hotel afterwards and stay there 'til morning; at the very least we have an hour, and you know that." Natasha's tone suddenly went sugary-sweet, "Now, which house is his again?"
"The white one with blue trim and white lights already up in the trees for the holidays," Patricia murmured, looking down at the ground.
"Thank you!" Natasha gushed lovingly, before turning and walking toward the houses on the other side of the park.
Patricia followed behind halfheartedly, hugging herself to stay warm and to calm her guilt.

Once Noelle had left the store, her eldest bother, Nathaniel, bought the book and tied it to his pants, the long handles tied to each other, then looped and tied through a belt loop on his right side. See, he'd made the decision to not intervene with Noelle and the skinwalker boy (he seriously needed to find out the kid's name), but that didn't mean he couldn't check out where he lived. Sniffing the air, his smell enhanced a bit with a contained transformation of his nose alone (after he'd left the lights of the store and walked the streets), he followed the path the skinwalker boy had taken leaving the alleyway. It didn't take long to find his apartment and Nathaniel pinned the place in his mind to find later; as for now, the kid had left his home to go somewhere. Nathaniel set off after the invisible trail, quickly at first, but more leisurely, so as to be assumed a passerby if he crossed paths with the kid accidentally.

Sydney laughed.
"Yeah, that would be good. I don't think I'd stand a chance if your family decided to attack me," he said, "Where's your car?"
He wondered how Noelle's family would react to her bringing home a guy from the Chander family, even if he wasn't himself a skinwalker. He supposed the tattoos and dyed side-cut didn't help first impressions much, but Noelle didn't seem to mind it. If he was lucky her family wouldn't either.

Pierce nod his head slowly to Moon. "T-Thanks." He whimpered before he hugged Moon gently. He exhaled deeply and he grabbed his backpack, putting it on and standing up before he grabbed Moon's collar gently. "O-Okay. I-I think I'm ready." he said, nervously and fearfully.

Noelle mentally kicked herself; she didn't have a car herself, only got rides from her brother or mom whenever she needed one. It was probably perfectly normal to assume that someone her age had a car, wasn't it? Welp, her mom had said she would pick Noelle up today; where was her mom usually on a Monday night? At the library!!! Every Monday, she went to the library to read, otherwise un-engaged. "My mom's gonna drive us. I was gonna text her as soon as I dropped off my phone... I'm sorry, I suppose I should have told you everything when you offered to help." She laughed nervously. "I don't tend to think about that kind of stuff." And by 'that kind of stuff', she meant others, because there never were any 'others' around most of the time.

Moon was a bit surprised by Pierce's hug but did not pull away. "Then let's go." He said simply as he lead the way to the door and pawed it open. "just stay calm. If he wakes I will deal with him." Moon said in a perfectly calm tone as he lead Pierce to the door keeping himself between the human and Pierce himself.

Coal heard some girls pushing around in the bushes. He heard what they said and would have dismissed it if the sent hadn't alerted him. He looked towards them and realized that they were actually quite young. "Are you girls a bit young for that?" His voice echoed through the darkness. His blue eyes found them with ease even without the street lamps. "You should go home." He added simply as he closed his eyes and leaned back against the tree he was sitting under.

"Natasha," Patricia's tone was urgent, "please, let's just go back. Won't your parents or siblings check up on you or something?"
"Oh just shut up, Patricia! If you want to go back, then fine. I'll go by myself." She turned toward him, sizing him up. His skinwalker scent was nothing Natasha recognized, but a whisper of her sister was on him. "It's none of your business." She narrowed her eyes, which flashed inhumanely in the night.
Patricia sniffed, cold and a bit hurt, "Fine Natasha... I'll see you at school." She said sadly, turning and walking back toward where they had come.
[They're in eighth grade by the way.]

Nathaniel picked up Natasha's scent a long way's off, and it made his blood boil. She was out on the streets at this time of night, up to absolutely no good again. His parents were somewhat aware of it and restricted the friends' houses she could go to, and especially the ones she could spend the night at, but it didn't seem to have helped tonight. Again. Nathaniel's faith in Patricia was restored when he saw her walking back with tears in her eyes and shivering from the cold, he walked up to her, holding one finger in front of his mouth, his stern expression a warning. Of course, she started bawling, thinking she was in trouble.
He sighed. He took off his jacket, real leather, thick, and his favorite, and slipped it around her shoulders before giving her a short hug. Almost everyone in town knew him, seeing how he'd not only grown up here, but had worked at almost every shop in town as well as was studying criminal justice and training to someday become the local sheriff. But it was mostly the first two.
He sent her home, planning to get his jacket back later, and sneaked closer to where his sister was. He had a huge dilemma here. The skinwalker boy was there too. He purposely stayed downwind of either, hunkering down so there was less chance of them smelling him. He'd been doing this too long.

Coal scoffed. "Come on kid. You'll have time to o that sort of thing when your older. Why ruin what you have right now?" he asked from where he leaned under the tree. "Go back with your friend." He said as he stood. "I'd hate to have to make the kind of seen that will draw every skinwalker in the area here." He stated firmly. There was not trace of joking in his eyes. He was completely serious as his icy gaze studied her. The energy around him which had been completely passive all day changed. He knew a good bi about animals and remembered that Noelle had said that her family had wolf in it. He knew a good bit about them and their ability to sense the change in energy from great distances. He stood tall as he waited for the young girl's response. His energy was now and eery calm. The calm before the storm kind of calm that always brought with it danger and destruction. Coal was reciting the Buddhist chant in his head so he did not shift. He had learned a good bit on his own over the years. Though when it came to being exposed by surprise he did freak a little. Still right now he was calm.
