If you were to describe Miles in one word it would have to be; childish. Miles is a very vocal individual who, when prompted to, will voice his own opinions and thoughts. Many of the things that are said by him tend to come off as a joke. However he will be the first to tell you that almost anything he says has a meaning. According to everyone else his manner of speech can get on your nerves easily. This is because he talks like he knows everything, despite knowing very little. Even if what he is talking about is in fact wrong he will still defend it, at least until someone calls him out on it. Miles is, at heart, a very playful person. Most things he says are for the amusement of others. He will often go out of his way to make someone smile. This also gets him into trouble every now and then because, as you may know, not everyone enjoys clowns. While a bit of a joker Miles can at times be a very intelligent person. He adapts to situations with astonishing speed. That doesn't mean that he is a very brave person though. Miles is the type of guy who starts fights but never finishes them. His big mouth often says things that get under people's skins. If someone where to actually confront him about it he would try his hardest to change the subject. if that doesn't work he will undoubtedly find an excuse to walk away. He is not a fan of violence and would avoid it if he could. However he is a pretty scrappy fellow in a fight. When cornered, much like the animal he shifts into, he will fight back. That being said it is a lot harder for him to brawl with someone he knows rather than a stranger. He has a very free flowing attitude. If something doesn't directly effect him then he simply doesn't care.
While a full grown man Miles does tend to act like a kid at times. He can be very selfish when it comes to things he desires. His mind runs at a very fast pace but once he gets an idea in his head that is it. He will work on realizing his own idea and not take no of an answer. Which is why a lot of the times he gets scolded, much like a child. Miles also has a hard time realizing that words have a great impact on some people. He doesn't take most things people say to him to heart, and he feels that everyone is like that. So you can see how sometimes he says things and then wonder why everyone gets upset with him. Despite this he isn't a very mean spirited person. He doesn't enjoy seeing others hurt, which leads to his playfulness. Sometimes he does realize that what he has said hurt someone. In that case he does apologize but this is a very rare thing. Emotionally Miles is a very stable person. He is constantly smiling and it's rare to see a frown across his face. Although, like most human beings he does tend to get mad easy. He is the kind of guy to make mountains out of mole hills so to speak. While not a completely over dramatic person he does sometimes go overboard.
It's hard to see Miles depressed. He is a very optimistic person whose beaming personality often rubs off on people. If he were to fail at something or get yelled at for something you would never notice. He is quick to bounce back from sorrow and rarely lets it show that he in fact can be sad at times. He feels like it's almost his job to be happy all the time. In light of all his humor Miles is very afraid of a select few things. One of which, ghosts, often leads to those around him picking on him. He takes ghost stories very seriously and believes any and all of them. This is rather amusing to most because he will stay up for days if you scare him enough. On his own though he is a fearful guy. If he heard the leaves rustling at night he would probably become paranoid.
