Beau's expression changed and curled up into a confused look. Vampires...? Really? Ever since he'd become what he was, he'd never seen a vampire... let alone hear much talk of them. What he did know was that there were few left, kind of like him and his makeshift family. But he nodded at Claud's response politely, as it appeared Claud was only trying to find an excuse for his adventure this morning. It appeared Amber was in agreement with himself. She laughed lightly at Claud's statement, dashing it away.

Beau simply shrugged his shoulders, unsure of what else to do or say next... and he was sick of being the center of this unwanted attention. The two seemed to have gotten the hint as then turned, shifted and bounded towards Jacob's kill. It looked like alot of meat, but Beau wasn't hungry yet. He yawned softly, shoving his hands into his jean pockets yet again. He supposed a nice run or a bath would clear his mind.

Finally siding with those ideas, he slowly walked past the others enjoying their meal, and the Alphess. Taking extra precautions to not give her direct eye contact. She hadn't said anything to him yet, and he wasn't looking forward to what she would say. He just walked past the others, his head tilted slightly downward.

Flint looked down at the female, slight awkwardness filled his mind. "I---it was my fault, I should have watched were, I was going." He said as he reached his hand out for a hand shake. "It's okay i don't bite." He slightly joked, as he waited for a handshake.

After the handshake was over Flint gave a small smile and introduced himself. "My names, Flint. And you are?" He said polity. He didn't want to make his first impression horrible like he did once before.

A giant black wolf bounded along the tree line and burst into camp his ears perked up. Griffin had been unsuccessful in his morning hunt, but Jacob had been. Which was a pleasing thought, at least the pack wouldn't go hungry today. He slowly padded over to the kill, and slowly made his way around the others, respectfully. He didn't want to pick fights with anyone just to get something to eat. He yanked some meat from the bone chewing it, than swallowing it. He repeated this till he was satisfied, and left the others to it as he back away. After sliding his tongue along the fur on his muzzle to make sure it was clean. His wolf Amber eyes shifting around the back till they landed on Stormy. He tilted his head, and let a wolffish grin appear on his muzzle. He shook out his pelt and padded over to the Alphess. Griffin was really the only one that truly dared to mess with her, most tried to stay away. He bumped his large head against her hip, and began to circle her. When he was behind Stormy he shifted, and walked to stand behind her. The man stood in old grey sweat pants, and a white tee shirt. "Well hello there sweet thang, who are we preying on this morning?" Griffin asked, his voice laced with a joking tone just to let Stormy know he was joking. He didn't want to end up getting yelled at, or snapped at. It was a rather unpleasing thing to happen. His dark hair slightly ruffled as it sat on top of his head, his dark chocolate eyes looking along the wolves who were in the pack. Some where afraid to adventure out to the village, meet the humans. So wanted to, but they were afraid of Stormy. He didn't mind either way. He liked being in the woods, enjoyed it very much. He would admit that he did crave to see some of the outside world, but that didn't mean he would be reckless. He would wait till most where ready to go down there.

Making it past the others was a success. Just as he was leaving the clearing, Griffin approached Storm. Score. He was a rather outing guy. Beau wasn't really sure what to think of him. They never really got in many arguments, but they sometimes stepped on each others toes. At least he was distracting Storm while he made his get away.

Beau grinned to himself and shifted quickly, bounding down the trail. He decided that a nice bath in the river would be a good thing to start of the rest of his day. He grinned a wolfy grin and let his tongue roll out of his jowls as he padded along the forest path. He and his pack mates created these trails long ago and running along them brought back fond memories. But they weren't enough to him some days. He missed the human side of life... a lot more than normal. Perhaps it was because his anniversary was coming up... In a matter of days, it would mark seven years if his turning.

Thoughts seemed to cloud his mind until the river came into view. He had been running for sometime now, and the river was a bit of a grey area to the pack. It cut through the forest rather close to the human roads. Usually Storm never let less than three of the pack venture this close to the human territory. They usually went out of their way traveling south a few miles to get to the river. But today, Beau didn't really care. The strong scent of the human town kind of comforted him lately.

Slowing down, Beau stopped at the edge of the water, bending down to lap at it's cool waves. It was refreshing, the cold liquid sliding down his tongue and throat. Licking his muzzle on either side, Beau lifted his head and took a deep inhale, scenting the surrounding area before stepping into the water.

Gabriella heard the sounds of the animals all around her. The sounds throbbed into her ears as she pushed herself along. The forest floor made it sort of hard to navigate as some branches sprouted from the earth, and rocks laid waiting to cause trouble. Her eyes noticing small little details on the trees, and patterns so she could find her way home. She wouldn't want to get lost here, it would be terrible. She thinks she would have a possibility of surviving till someone found her, or till she found her own way out of this thick woodland. She began to lose herself deep into her thoughts, her eyes focusing out as she picked up her pace. Memories fluttering into her head of her parents taking her on a path in a woodland somewhere. They had stopped and showed her the animals that would come out between the trees, listen to the birds songs. It was a beautiful, pleasant, familiar feeling where she was surrounded by the sounds of animals and the scents of trees. They brought back child hood memories. The sound of water snapped her from her memories, just as her foot caught on a root. Her breath rushed out in a silent gasp as she collapsed scrapping her knee. She pushed herself up and followed the sound of the water, her breath coming out heavily in pants. She finally reached the water and smiled. She lifted the water bottle she had been carry to her lips and took a gulp of the refreshing beverage. Her eyes dancing along the surface of the water, and they found an animal. A silent gasp escaped her lips, a soft smile appearing on her face. Most would turn around and run at the sight of this gorgeous animal. But not Gabby. The wolf was an absolutely stunning, creature.

Slowly learning herself into a crouch she set the water bottle down. Then slowly rising back into a standing position she slowly began to creep foreword. Her feet moving slow, and gentle. She wanted a better look, to see if she could actually touch the animal. What she would do just to touch the animal. "It's okay." She said softly, reassuring words as she made her way slowly towards the wolf, only hesitating a couple seconds to see if the wolf chose to run, or signal a warning. She was daring with animals. Most would be scared out of their brain, she was curious. She wanted to touch the animal, feel it's pelt.

to his question. "Preying really?" She mumbled. "I'm just,
watching some weird movement in the distance." She says
as she points towards a nearby field. "I have no clue on what it is.
I mean, it's to far to catch the scent." She says as she looks down the
ridge towards the rushing rivers. "I wouldn't expect something living
that far out there, unless it was an animal." She said extremely
confused. "Maybe we should take a look." She said as she walked
closer shifting in seconds. "You comin'?" She said waiting for a reply.
"You don't have to, just wondering if you want to." She said as
she stepped one step closer towards the bridge-like abandon train track.

Griffin flashed a wide, goofy grin as Stormy threw back her own joking remark. That told him she was in a pretty good mood today. "Of course you're sweet thang. You're like tootsie pop. How much licks does it take to get to the center out of tootsie pop?" Griffin questioned with a raising of one of his dark, chocolate brown eyebrow glancing over at her. "Aka, how much does one have to suck up to you to get what they want, or to get on your good side." He said teasingly as he rolled his brown eyes. He heard her mumble something about his preying joke, and his smile just seemed to widen. He was the guy that likes to tease, and joke around with everyone. Flirt with most of the girls in the back, well besides Stormy. He will teasingly flirt with her, not an actually flirt. He would prefer to keep his tongue in his mouth, and not cut out. He snapped back to reality as she was talking about something moving in the distance. His eyes followed her finger where she was pointing and narrowed his eyes every so slightly before he noticed what she was talking about. There was something moving out there, he nodded running a hand across the small stubble on his face that had appeared over the night. "Yeah, there is something out there." He said watching it move, his curiosity instantly spiking as he watched it. Nodding, he listened to her closely. "Yeah, let's just hope it's an animal. We wouldn't want a human this close to us. You know how some are, wandering out into the woodland." He said looking at her. They rarely had to deal with humans, and when they did, it wasn't good. They couldn't risk their secret getting out there, they had to protect themselves no matter the cost. If that meant a human disappearing, than that meant a human disappearing. It was the only way to protect themselves and the rest of the pack. He understood that and accepted it. He nodded as she said that they should go check it out. He began to follow her as she asked him if he was coming. "Yeah, I'm coming sweet thang." He said jogging to walk besides her as they walked towards the moving object, his eyes still watching the object. He was really curious on what it is.

The feeling of the cool water against his paws was a welcome relief. He sighed softly and closes his eyes, taking in the the sounds of the forest. He stood like that for a few moments until the snap of a twig grabbed his attention. His tawny ears switched to the left, wondering what creature made the noise. Perhaps nothing more than a frightened deer after seeing him by the river. Beau wasn't too concerned. After all he was the top predator in these woods. Even the resident wolves were cautious around the pack.

However, the sounds didn't stop, they sounded closer this time. His curiosity was now peaked. What animal dared to come closer to him? Something pretty brave he figured. Beau turned to face the creature that was making it's way toward him and the river. His deep green eyes widened. It was a human female...

Beau stood motionless, unsure of what to do. She didn't appear afraid, as there was a bright smile across her face. He watched her curiously as the female slowly tired to make her way nearer to him. Her hand was outstretched and she cooed softly, uttering words of comfort.

He stood there, watching her. Beau wasn't afraid of her or her intentions, he just wasn't sure what to do... The pack law was to NEVER let a human see you in wolf form. But this girl already had... And she certainly didn't seem dangerous. She was wearing sporting attire and carried a water bottle. She was obviously was out for a jog or something. Beau then made a snap decision to indulge the girl. He then turned and leaned down to the water again, and lapped up the cool liquid. But he kept one green eye on the girl.
