Ryan :: 16 :: horse- Harmma Aave (aka- Grey Ghost) :: crush- open

Aave lowered her blueish head and pressed her velvety muzzle against Ryan's cheek. Ryan smiled and stroked Aave's nose. "Well I guess you want to watm up somemore huh." she siad to Aave. "Well, lets go." Ryan added. She ran to her dorm and quickly but away her acoustic guiar. Ryan jogged back to were Aave stood, waiting. Looking down into the arena, Ryan was a woman jumping a glossy black thoroughbred.

Deciding she wanted to ride bareback before her lesson started, Ryan took off Aave's saddle and put it away. Grabbing a handfull of mane, she barely managed to swing onto her 17 hand mare. "Alright," whispered Ryan, taking the reins in her right hand "Where do you want to go?"

Drew checked the time on her phone before walking her horse to head out of the barn. She caught sight o a small group gathering before a stall, seeming to gawk at what was there. Out of pure curiosity, Drew placed Fae in her stall before maneuvering her way over to the group, careful to stay on the outside, unnoticed. She couldn't see past the shoulders bustling about and standing on her tip toes did not help the short girl anymore. She finally went off to the side and grabbed ahold of the bars an pulled herself up so her feet were on the bottom rim of the stall's wall and she was able to peer downward and see the commotion inside. Seeing a boy and another girl with a horse whose stomach seemed to be bloated and the mare seemed to be sweating immensely. She figured that the mare was about to give both, but with the worried look on the girl's face, Drew knew it wasn't going to be a normal birth and she also must've been the owner.
Feeling like she had to do something, Drew opened her mouth to speak, but no sound escaped. She knew the boy probably had it taken care of and would most likely have brushed her offer to help, away. She had seen so many births of farm animals from her brother, it seemed so normal to see this mare, and she had a feeling she knew what they were going to do. Instead of speaking up, Drew looked down at her feet and then back at the sight inside the stall. There was no way anyone would let an amateur help and there was no way Drew could speak to anybody. She had seemed to neglect the motions of speech so long ago that she hadn't heard her voice and would most likely not be able to use it at this time. Drew hadn't heard the boy order the other students to go away either. The petite girl stood idly by, feeling useless as she watched the commotion go on inside.

After the mare had been taken to the vet and the group of gathering people slowly subsided, Drew waited for another moment or two before the gathering had been completely dispersed. She stood there, alone with straw still stuck in her hazelnut hair, before realizing she still had Fae all saddled up in another stall. She ran over to the mare and pulled her out of the stall, walking her out of the barn before pulling herself into the saddle. That part had always been a bit of a struggle for her since the stirrup of the saddle was so high off the ground for her short body. Luckily her legs were still long, so she was always able to manage climbing into the saddle.
Fae tried to move forward before Drew was ready, but having experienced this so many times, Drew was able to stop her before she moved any father. She realized then that she was in a foreign place to Fae and the mare spooked easily in any place she was not familiar with. It might have been safer to grab a riding buddy, but Drew didn't know anyone or feel comfortable asking a stranger to come with her. She looked down at the mare, unsure of what to do next.

Ryan :: 16 :: horse- Harmma Aave (aka- Grey Ghost) :: crush- open

Ryan looked around from where she sat atop Aave. She noticed a girl looking around, unsure of what to do. Ryan pointed Aave towards the brown and white paint and gently urged her to a trot. Aave's trot was smooth and floaty, which felt nice bareback. Ryan's brown curls that cascaded down her back bounced as she made her way to the paint and the girl. She slowed to a halt when she was a few feet away.

"Hey, Im Ryan." she said to the girl. Aave's shook her blueish body and reached her nose out to the other mare. "Aye, quit that." Ryan gently scolded, unsure of what the other mare would do. Aave pranced in place want to play with the paint. "Sorry 'bout her, she gets a little excited at times."

I'm on mobile again, sorry i have little time this weekend for rp))

Drew nearly jumped as she heard someone riding up from behind her and speak. She saw a girl riding her horse bareback, seeming a bit happy. She tried to force a smile, but felt a bit awkward in doing so, so she resumed biting her lower lip, a common habit for the nervous girl. She dipped her head in greeting instead and watched her horse, gripping the reins a bit. "Um, Drew. This is Feather Tail Paintings, er... Fae." She was never good at talking to people. As The other mare reached out to Fae, the pinto snorted and pulled her cranium back, backing up in a quick jolt. Drew was able to react quick enough to settle her down, but was a bit nervous herself. She silently calmed her mind so that Fae wouldn't connect to the nervous feels she was giving off.

"Nah, s'alright. I-I can handle it. She'll be fine." Drew smiled again, but this time it didn't seem as awkward and she was actually able to make it seem a little nice. "Fae's just a bit nervous. new place an all." Drew reached down to stroke her mare's neck. She felt a slight bit of sweat, but nothing too bad, so she assumed she'd be fine. But when she saw Fae's wild oculars and flaring nostrils, she knew it wasn't gonna take much to spook her. Drew jumped down from her horse's saddle and began rubbing Fae's forehead, giving her a T-touch to calm her down. She hushed her a bit and cooed, but there wasn't much more she could do. Slightly hesitant, for Fae's sake, Drew hopped back in the saddle and held onto the reins, eyeing her horse as she waited for Ryan to say more if she must.

Ryan :: 16 :: horse- Harmma Aave (aka- Grey Ghost) :: crush- open

Ryan watched as Drew hopped off of Fae and stroke the mares head. Then proceeded to remount her. "Yea, Aave's like that to." Ryan replied as Drew mounted. "Though she's more arrogant then skittish." she chuckled. Aave stomped her black hoofs, prancing in place. "What lesson are you in? Aave and I barrel race." Ryan asked. She was ready to go to her lesson but it didn't start till later on in the day. A warm breeze blew across the land, causing Aave's mane to ripple like black water.

While she waited for Drew's reply she gazed down at the arena. A few horses where down there, leaping over fences. Ryan had always thought that jumping was another way to fly. She wasn't much of an english kind of gal, but loved to jump. Her mom taught her how to ride and her dad showed her how to work and play guitar. Ryan smiled down at the arena, forgetting she was with Drew. She lost herself in the memories until Aave stomped her hoofs once more. She snapped back into reality and looked back at Drew once more.
