Zach
Zach turned to Nattie, and smiled apologetically. He scratched the back of his neck, and looked down at the floor. "Yeah, um, sorry about that. I was overwhelmed." He barely even looked at Nattie again, before turning his head to look at the walls. He saw the small cameras, too, and frowned at them, as if to tell the person behind all of this that he was upset with them. He looked back up at the boy, who seemed to be leading the group, and saw him inspecting the plates on the doors. What were the titles for, anyway? Zach suddenly was overcome by a terrible scent, after the boy, Quentin, opened the door to some room. It smelled like blood, and spoiled milk, with a hint of animal feces. He covered his nose with his shirt quickly, and gagged a bit.
Alex
Alex silently looked around, trying to stay perky. She hated all of this. The fact that all of these people, including her, got kidnapped. The fact that everyone was being so quiet. The two up in the feont, who keep fighting. She hated it all. She hated being lost, she hated silence, and she hated when people constantly argued. Her parents argued a lot when she and Zach were little. They fought about the smallest things, and it always made Alex cry, because she thought they were going to get a divorce. Zach had always been her voice of reasoning, and he always helped her through the rough patches in her life. That is why she also hated being away from Zach. Alex quickly covered her nose, as a terrible smell found her way to her nose, and as she looked around, she seemed to notice that it caught everyone wlse in its grasp. She didn't keep her nose uncovered long enough to be able to smell much, but she distinctly smelled a metallic smell. Like copper, and water, and a bit of rust. It was the smell of blood.
