Dekotah walked a little ways into the woods so their conversation couldn't be heard. She sat down on a fallen down tree looking up at the male. "I wasn't exspecting you to return." She said tucking a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear. She was shocked by the next thing he said. What did he wasn't to protect. Surely it wasn't the pack. "What exactly do you think is going to happen?" What he said worried her but she wouldn't let it show. She had to be strong for the pack.

"We haven't had problems for years now, once we made this area our camp we have had no trouble." Dekotah layed her face in her hands. She had no idea what to do. Should she even believe him? Dekotah looked back up at the male looking into his eyes. She had always had a crush on him but she knew he would never feel the same way back. She felt safe around him, comfortable.

Farion turned his eyes back towards Dekotah, he shook his head softly. " I don't know and that worried me." He clinched his teeth. " I- We cannot protect anyone without knowing." Gently, he ran his fingers though his hair. He closed his eyes for a moment, he knew this was going to worry everyone if he said it in front of the others. This is why he chose to trust just Dekotah. Farion opened his eyes and met them with Dekotah's. He knew whatever was going to happen was going to happen fast and be destructive.

" We have to keep our eyes open. I have only ever felt like this before my parents died and we both know how that turned out." Gently, he sat down beside her, looking down to his hands. " I do not want anyone hurt, especially you." He caught himself, now he had to fix it. He looked up to her quickly, then looked away. " The pack would fall apart without you. You are their glue."

As Dekotah and Farion walked always into the woods, deep in a heated conversation, she couldn't help
but smile. Since day one it was obvious the both of them had a thing for each other. But admitting it
wasn't half as easy as knowing you felt it. Her eyes immediately diverted to Crash, he was deep in his own
thoughts, still in human form. She silent pondered. Her brain was on overdrive. He flirted with her, but that
was typical Crash. He flirted with all the girls. And all the girls flirted with him. The cycle was endless, and
she hated it. She had to either get with him, or get over it. Crushing on a player was no fun at all.

Crash felt eyes watching him, but who wouldn't look at him. He turned in the direction he thought the eyes were coming from. He saw Vee, she was a pretty girl but she wasn't really his type, but when did that ever stop him. He walked over to her with a breath taking smile on his face. "Hello." He said leaning against a near by tree. "I couldn't help but notice you watching me, but who wouldn't, im beautiful."

It was obvious to say that Crash was over self confident. He knew he was handsome and it went to his head. He could get any girl he wanted but he never really wanted a girl. He has never really dated a girl. He was afraid of commitment because he knew he could never be loyal.

As Dekotah boosted he just sat back smirking, he wouldn't correct her. The reason she was stronger than him was because he had chosen to never fight her. Farion may have been hot headed, but he was not willing to hurt an old friend. Besides, he was never big on the power trip, it made him feel like he couldn't leave. He smiled softly at the childish part, this he would not deny. He noticed that Genevieve nodded to him, he gave her a smile that could have made anyone's knees weak, then turned towards Dekotah. As she headed towards the woods, Farion glanced back at the pack for a moment, then turned towards the woods and followed her into them. Over the past few days he had noticed how cut off they really were from the world, but it also cause him to become calmer at times knowing the stability.

His steps caught up to Dekotah's and as they burrowed deeper into the woods he stopped. He looked out over the woods, then to Dekotah. " I am going to be honest with you Kotah...this time when I left, I was not planning on coming back." His eyes drifted to his feet. Gently, a groan escaped his lips. " But I felt like I needed to be here, like something was going to happen and I needed to protect..." He paused before he could let the word 'you' slip though his lips, looking up to her. The farther he had gotten from the camp, the more anxious the feeling in his stomach had gotten, like the wind blowing strong before the wind. "Something is going to happen." He said quickly looking away from her. " I know it."

"I think we should keep this between ourselves until we find out whats going to happen." She said looking at him as he sat down beside her. "I don't want to worry them if its nothing." She couldn't help but smile at him saying he said he didn't want her to get hurt. "You are a terrible liar." She said pushing him playfully. "I can read you like a book Farion." She said teasing him. She now knew he had feelings for her.

She looked down at her feet trying to hide the blush that was forming from what he said. She stood up turning away from him taking a few deep breaths. She wouldn't dare let it show that she had a bit of feelings back for him. She had to put her feelings a side and always focus on what was best for the pack, even if that meant she would never have a mate.

As Dekotah tried to lighten the mood Farion only became more distressed. He shook his head and gritted his teeth. " Dekotah." He paused. Farion could feel himself loosing control of his emotions. " Dekotah I am sick of this. Sick of this game we play." He pulled himself to his feet and looked at her, his eyes growing with more emotion. He turned and looked back towards the camp. He breathed deeply, trying to calm himself. " You know plenty well why I came back and it was not for that pack. I might care about them, but nothing that could ever be comparable to you."

Farion swallowed a hard lump in his throat. " I don't leave because I can't stand them, you should know better. I leave because I cannot control how I feel like you. I can't hide what I feel inside for so long. I can barely control my anger, you know that better than anyone." He leaned up against a tree, his shoulder brushing the bark. " I am tired of running from this and running from you."

A deep scarlet blush flooded across her cheeks and she smirked, raising her eyebrows at him. "Don't flatter yourself, Romeo. Most girls are despising your arrogance rather than admiring your looks." Though pleased by her smart comment, she didn't walk away when she should have. Vee wanted to hear what the fighter had to say for himself. The idea of what thoughts revolved in his mind repulsed her, a boy that thought the entire world revolved around him had a terrible weakness indeed.

"That is where you are wrong, Juliet." He said with a smile. "Everyone enjoys my looks, even you. Why else would you have been staring at me?" Crash was a smart guy, he knew how to woo the girls. He had many years of practice. He stood up straight looking at her. "I intrigue you that's why you are still having a conversation with me."

"I even made you blush." He said with a grin. "Which was surprisingly easy." He said leaning back against the tree. "You must have more feelings for me than I guessed."

Dekotah turned to face him looking into his eyes. "I don't like this anymore than you do." She said looking down at the ground. "But there is nothing I can do about it, I have to put my feelings aside and focus on the pack." Her eyes looked back up at him. "There is no future for us you keep leaving, I cannot not make you alpha male and have you run off every chance you get." She sat down on the log putting her face in her hand taking in a few deep breaths.

"I have to think of what's best for the pack, and I don't know if you are it." She said removing her hands from her face. "For many months now I have hoped that you would change, but I don't think you ever will." She couldn't even look at him because she was afraid there would be a look of sadness on his face. "I don't want you to leave anymore, I cannot take it."

As Dekotah spoke it only made matters worse. Farion shook his head. " You are not listening." He turned back towards her, ready to run off all over again. He crossed his arms around the back of his neck and closed his eyes. " You make me crazy Kotah." His feet paced the forest floor, then he opened his eyes and looked at her. " I cannot stay here looking at you day in and day out while we act like everything is normal. I know things are not as they should be and I cannot stand it." He felt his anger building up inside. His madness was not directed towards Dekotah, but the situation in general. He was tired of the chase, years of him and Dekotah looking at each other from a distance but not being able to be together. It made him sick.

He lowered his arms to his sides and looked to the ground. Farion knew he couldn't take this for the rest of his life. " Kotah...I can't do this forever. I am who I am. I leave because when I see you smile at me a part of me dies inside. Can't you see, every day I watch you try to hide your feelings for me is killing me." He gritted his teeth. "It used to not be this way." He let out a sigh. " We use to run together, no problems. Now, it's almost as if you are ashamed of me. That pack loves me. I would die for any of those people, you know that better than they would. I have watched each one of them progress over the years just as you have. I just can't understand why they can love me and accept me, but you still do not think I am good enough. " Farion looked up to her, then shook his head.

"Me coming back should be enough for you, but I am seeing that it was not."
