████{Will do,} Cavan said both in reply to Rox and Drakota as he turned and ran for the den.
████{I'm fine,} Eztli sent, she didn't like people worrying about her, however she wouldn't decline the pampering, she didn't really have the energy to. About half way back to the Den she had to slow to a trot, sides heaving from her heavy breaths through her nose, and sent out another mindlink, {If there's anyone near Blake could you please tell him to meet me just to the East of the Den? I've got a new Pup and I'd rather not bring her into a crowded place so early.}

Cavan ran as fast as his four legs would carry him through the snow while still leaving a good dent in the powder for the others to walk through, wanting to make it as easy as possible for the injured to get through the deep snow. He paused a moment when he saw the cabin and sent, {I've gotten to the cabin. It will be ready by the time the injured get here.} Before heading down to the building. {Tia, are you here? Where's Zach?} he asked as he trotted into the

Iker looked up when Drakota came back to their group and he stood up, dipping his head in respect to the new Beta. He might be a loner and not required to take orders or follow the general courtesies of the Pack wolves. But he did hope to join at some point and he planned to conduct himself as if he already did belong in the Pack. He nodded at her orders and looked down at Chey then Marc. "I can carry Chey so you can be free to fight off attackers," he told Marc then looked at Drakota. "Donnie's leg is pretty bad. He will need support so as not to make the wound worse, I can only carry one." He looked over at Marc when the brute dropped the meat and said, "I can carry that in my bag." He pulled out some cloth he would usually use for wrapping a wound and rolled the mostly frozen meat in it before placing it in his bag, making sure it wouldn't crush his herbs or get punctured by his needles.

Skye looked down at Raven and laughed with a roll of his eyes, "You're a dork, you know that?" He raised his eyebrows when she looked at him and he could tell she seemed to get more embarrassed and he seemed to too. So to break the moment he grinned evilly and stooped to grab Raven's legs and moved forward a bit so she'd fall over his shoulder then straightened up, picking her up with him. "Okay, Levi. We're ready. Where are these trails you speak of."
Aghana laughed and Skye's playfully actions got Argos excited so he started running around the group barking excitedly.

But in the corner, at the cold

leaning against the wall--frozen to

there with her matches, of which

"She wanted to warm herself,"

The Alpha looked down at Jayda with a soft smile and shrugged, "I appreciate that, I really do but some days it definitely feels like I'm lagging," he admitted humbly. It was much easier with a co-alpha doing the deciding while he took care of the disciplinary, but slowly, the tall blonde was getting the hang of being the top dog, one and only. "Are you sure Jayda? That's quite a big sacrifice, I mean i could carry you on my back, through the woods but it might be faster and good practice for you to get ahold of your wolf, if we show you now?" he asked her. Though he wouldn't have a problem carrying her as a wolf, Blake knew the benefits of a small trial run- quite literally- if Jayda could shift, she could walk and run for the first time on four legs instead of two. It was one of Blake's favorite feelings in the whole, wide world. "Run with the wolves?" he asked, laughing a bit. Shaking his head, he looked over at Kayla and gestured with the jerk of his head for her to follow, "Let's go Kayla, we have work to do," he said, his tone much lighter and almost- happy. Grabbing Jayda by the hand he pulled her out of the den hard and fast, grabbing her other hand and spinning her a few times before stopping and steadying the girl. "Get your adrenaline flowing!" he encouraged her playfully. Bending over, Blake scooped up some snow and tossed it right at Kayla, he may have been alpha but he would always be a child at heart.

Blake could have been going about this completely wrong, but for him, when he was learning to control his first shift, nothing did it but this. His older brother, Ashton, threw him off of a high ledge and into the lake they once swam in during the summer. Blake didn't shift mid air or even when he hit the water but he was so angry and adrenaline so high, the minute his soaked sneakers touched the rocky shore of the lake side, Blake wanted to take off running- most likely to beat the crap out of his older brother. The minute he started running, he tumbled and did a few summersaults until he fell on his face- because that was the minute he began to move on four legs instead of two. He wasn't about to throw Jayda off a ledge or anything, but getting her heart pumping was one way to really feel what its like when you shift... then again there was Rox's way. Blake bit his bottom lip as he watched to see what the girl would do after he practically threw her out into the cold. Rox's way was much gentler, and Blake cringed wondering if he should have tried it first. Looking to Kayla, he examined her facial features to figure out if she quite approved of his methods.

"I always picture myself falling, like you're waiting to fly, you just need that one deep plunge before you make a wish and let yourself have it!" he told her, his tone picking up in excitement. "It also helps if i get a running start, and take a good leap..." he laughed and winked at the girl before doing just that. Getting into a runner's stance, Blake pushed off hard with his leading right foot and took three steps before moving all the power to his legs, leaving the ground with both feet, and just like that he landed on four paws a good seven feet ahead of where he took off. Rounding on the girl, Blake's wolf padded up to her and stretched out his shoulders by getting in the play position, a small and soft whine coming from his nose to show he meant no harm to her, in case she were frightened. Blake looked to Kayla and resumed his normal standing position, Barking at her, hoping she would give her some suggestions, as every wolf was different.

Hearing Marc's question, Blake barked and nodded yes- he needed Kayla right now to help Jayda, but perhaps the young girl could learn to shift this way, it was possible. "Rox- how are things going with Jayda's things?" he linked, the first one in what seemed like hours. "Looks like marc is on his way, with Kayla. Cheyenne Iker and Donnie behind and as soon as we get a shift or two out of Jayda, we will be there," he added, hoping to god she didn't catch the fact that he was teaching her... his method was much less peaceful then Rox's, he couldn't hardly even stand watching Cheyenne try to shift. Blake Nodded to Drakota as he noticed she made it back tot he pack's camp, he definitely approved of his new beta's command for attention and action, she definitely knew how to take charge. "We will catch up, Drakota, good job," he linked before he caught Kayla and Marc's interaction, Blake pinned his ears to his head, he wanted to protect her feelings but it was unfortunately impossible- he couldn't imagine what was going through her head. He knew right off and couldn't handle it, he couldn't even picture what it would feel like if you had a clue and everyone knew but you... heartbreaking.

(OOC: I just died laughing at Kayla's last post, lol p-i-s-s- off marc! LOL)

Cheyenne cringed at the idea... "Id rather maul then stick someone... " she laughed, covering her mouth slightly as she giggled about the image of her knowing on the ears of her pack mates. The girl watched her mate-to-be, hard at work as he tried to get the job done, she smiled admiring him and how much he did for the pack- even though they hadn't been in the greatest graces as of late. "Marc, I want to Hel-" she began, but was silenced with a kiss. Cheyenne closed her eyes and smiled softly even after he had pulled away. "Help- Don't you need help?" she asked, unsure if she could even do something of the kind. "No? Oh.... okay.... bye... love... you-" she mumbled, becoming more quiet with each word as she watched him walk off. Cheeks turning a bright shade of rosy red, Cheyenne looked to Iker and Donnie, probably watching her stupidity. Before the girl had time to explain herself she looked to Donnie for instruction, as she had become so accustomed to doing so. The Beta in front of her was pretty intimidating, at least for her. "I- Uh... Donnie... Iker?" she looked to them, her large doe eyes pooling with fear, slowly but surely. "Should I shift... or?" she asked them, hoping the beta didn't take offence to her not being the one asked questions. Cheyenne had just been a little confused as the two males cautioned her on shifting while injured, but she wasn't sure she would make it to the cabin without freezing to death. But then- Iker volunteered to carry the girl. Now, being only about 5 feet tall and 95 lbs soaking wet, Cheyenne would be easy to lift and carry for a short amount of time but her biggest problem would be holding on- with one arm the girl felt useless, but for now she would just be silent and do as she was told.

Sleep pulling her back into her slumber, the girl began to shiver again, her body finally started working and trying to make its own heat. It was a white oak branch, big enough for a walking stick- but he didn't need it, he had just been bored. "Where about are you staying, Blaze?" he asked, turning and walking down a snow path, curious if the girl would follow. The snow had been so compacted that his foot impressions only sunk down several inches before he had solid footing again. Blaze had been right, as Sam looked up to the tree tops- it had been beautiful, all of the snow giving a light powdered look on each of the branches. Muscles rippling under her plush fur coat, Sylvia wriggled her bottom as her paws kneaded the snowy terrain beneath her. The frost bitten air stung her lungs as she prepared to take in plenty of oxygen as she was about to pounce on the one she had been stalking- or lurking by rather. She hadn't planned to kill this wolf- but he- Sylvia thought it was a he anyways, based on his size and smell, he had company. Sylvia paused as he watched a smaller female pad up beside him, a bit of small talk happening. Good- he's not a loner... He must be with the pack- but there's only one way to be sure... she thought to herself silently. Getting into position, she counted backwards in her head from five, and once she hit zero, she was off like a race horse out of the gates and with a powerful launch, Sylvia pounced on top of Kodi- her initial goal was to pin him down and once she was successful, she wouldn't budge until she got some answers.

(Cavan's in wolf form and not yet in the cabin. she wouldn't have heard him. i was giving Zach a chance to post)
Eztli heard Blake's voice in the Mindlink and her ears perked happily, glad to be able to speak directly to him now instead of attempting to speak through someone else. {Blake! Hey, I hate to bother you but Rox and I found a new pup out in the forest. An actual pup. I've carried her most the way back but she's very timid and I didn't want to suddenly throw her into the fray of the whole Pack. We're not too far away from the Den, I can see it from here. Just to the East of it.}

Iker smiled Chey gently, able to tell she was quite concerned about what she was supposed to do. "Stay the way you are. You'll be easier to carry and you won't make your wound any worse. I will carry you bridal style so you won't have to move your arm at all." He finished packing the meat Marc had brought into his bag and walked over to Cheyenne and laid a hand on her shoulder. "No fears. You will be just as active and useful as your mate soon. Let yourself heal, then allow yourself time to learn your wolf and skills and you will be amazed at what you can do. Trust me, I've been through the change too. Now," he knelt by her and prepared to pick her up, making sure he was on the side of her good arm, "ready?"

    Jayda listened to Blake in each response he had given to her. She was glad that she had helped him out with a little bit of encouragement. When others came around all she could do was stare at them. More strangers! She had just about had it with the amount of members in this pack that she was starting to plot on running away and learning to shift on her own. However, Jayda was not a literal pup in the pack. She was not going to act like an immature teenage brat. The girl was nineteen years old, but acted much older than that. Jayda had watched Marc and Kayla's interaction and it didn't look like it was a good one at all. She turned away from them as she felt a brush of negative vibes rubbing off of them. The girl shook her head at them and tried to think of something else. About how she'd explain to her family that she may not return for a while. It would probably break everyone's hearts, but then again who knew how they'd actually take her not wanting to come home for a while. After all Jayda was legal and allowed to make such decisions about her own life. Allowed to move out into her own place and not come back to her family. Even though that was the case all she wanted to do was tell her family that she was alright that's all. They were probably already blowing up her phone asking her about her trip. Oh yeah, her trip was all roses and flowers now that she's been turned into a wolf and being taken care of by the pack's handsome alpha! Everything was just peachy in Jayda's eyes. The girl was thinking for a while, probably about ten minutes or so and all of a sudden someone grabbed her hand. Before she could even have time to react Jayda was snatched and spun around giving her heart a quick jump to begin racing. Yeah, he started the adrenaline alright.

    Alpha Blake had ran through the basics of trying to get his wolf out of the box. Maybe that's not how it would work out for Jayda, Blake! Something in Jayda began to stir the moment he mentioned running. Oh, she indeed loved running, jumping, playing, swimming. Anything that called for being active. Jayda smiled a bit when he took a runner's stance. As if he were at the start of a track meet ready to dash in front of all of his opponents and win the race or get to the next person and pass the 'stick.,' Jayda's mind kept running the word trust in her head. To trust herself and everything would be alright. 'Run Jayda!,' something in her head barked at her. Jayda ignored it for only a brief moment just so she wouldn't miss a thing Blake said. This was important that she got all of this down , so she could do it herself. He took off running in front of her, jumped into the air, and before her eyes changed into a wolf. Jayda's eyes instantly widened. That was going to happen to her too! Oh goodness gracious! Jayda was about to take a step back unsure if Blake was the one controlling this wolf or if it had a mind of it's own. Duh, it was Blake. She could tell once the wolf approached her and whined. Her hand ran across Blake's head as she stood up to see him bark at someone else and even nod. She wasn't sure what he was talking about, but decided not to slide into those dms. "I think I will attempt it. Wait..," she spoke allowed to Blake even though he probably couldn't answer her. Jayda wanted to know if this transition would be painful! She could handle pain, but certain amounts of pain were too much for her. "Will this be painful?," she asked him curiously. Her head tilting to the side causing her loosely spring like curled hair to fall off her shoulder and down her arm. Her eyes struck innocence, but her face came off as serious. She wanted to know how it would be, but the again shouldn't the experience be different from everyone elses'?

    ~~~~
    Kodi was still walking by himself after the alpha told him to help out. Even though the alpha also said he didn't have to. Kodi took it upon himself to go ahead and help out the pack anyway. It felt good to take something off of Blake's shoulders. He felt like he was sent to do this own his own because he'd be overwhelmed by the rest of the pack. Then again Kodi wanted to try and put as much food on his plate as possible, building up and up. Until the plate could no longer hold the food and he ate every last drop of it. He was not one to back down from a challenge , ever. No matter if he knew what the out come of the situation would be or not. Now that his mind was clear once more he heard more paws . Two different sets coming from two different directions. Kodi became slightly alert when the scents drifted his way. 'It could be the loner,' he privately thought to himself. The male's body grew tense, but then took a rest once he heard someone coming up behind him. His eyes shot back to find the fae he had just dropped off at the pack right beside him by his hind legs. She asked him if she could help him. What kind of question was that? Then again he was the Delta and she couldn't just come up to him and tell him that she was just going to tag along with him.
    The mysterious dark black wolf had nodded his head. He wondered if Blake had already let her into the mind link of the pack. Welp, there was no way for sure to know unless he asked Blake. 'Not to disturb you Blake, but did you happen to let Lupa into the mind link of the pack yet?,' he linked directly to Blake. Hoping he was in wolf form by now helping the others head to the cabin. What was the whole point of the whole pack heading to the cabin anyways? The new pups would have to be exposed to the pack and the wounded didn't need a crowd. Eh, that's none of Kodi's business unless they told him about it. Kodi padded off calmly as he picked up the other scent. He grew tense once more right there in front of Lupa. This was a stranger he smelt and they were in his pack's territory. His teeth bared a bit and a growl erupted in his chest as he looked around him. He turned to look back at Lupa and he straightened up a bit, to look so , not terrifying to her. Last thing he wanted to to frighten the pup, she'd probably never seen a slightly aggressive wolf so up close before. He decided not to be the first to show her what the mean side to a wolf looks like. Kodi was so focused on her and hadn't been paying attention to his surroundings now. He'd been tackled to the ground by someone. A...a..A female to be exact! Instantly his neck snapped into place to look at her. His eyes narrowed at this loner right in front of him. It was a female too! What was with Kodi attracting females to the pack? He must of been a, lady magnet! He growled at her , but then thought about it. That was no way to act towards a stranger, that would make him seem hostile. Kodi barked at her, hoping she would understand that he wanted her off of him. Just so he could shift and they could talk . 'Girl get your lone paws off me!,' he accidentally linked through his head. He was sure nobody paid him any attention anyways. Kodi wiggled a bit hoping she would get it again. Gee, how many hints did he need to through at this female?
Lupa
Lupa growled when Kodi, once more, ignored her. All of a sudden, Kodi was tackled! Lupa was waved with the suddeness. "Kodi!" She screamed, shifting. Barking and growling at the newcomer, she realized it was a female. My God, Kodi was a magnet! Lupa chuckled to herself, then realized Kodi was fighting someone, and snapped back. Lupa dove herself into the mix, pulling the fae of the new female.
Rox paused as finally the cabin came into view, and sunk down into the snow. Her black slim sides were heaving from limping the distance she had to get there. Blood still ran down her leg, and once more Rox turned her head to begin licking it. She should of healed just enough to stop bleeding by now. The thought worried her all with all her other symptoms. She sighed pushing the thoughts away, but as soon as she did Blake's mindlink came through. Crap. She couldn't really tell him she didn't get the stuff without him wondering why. "Blake..I" She began a lie on the tip of her tongue when Eztli came through. Ugh she could kiss that girl. Rox shifted her small form to make herself more comfortable in the snow. She was really getting tired, and so her eyes began to drift shut. Just a quick nap until the others started showing up. Yea, a nap sounded good.
Marc rolled his eyes at the drama queen as she stormed off,"Are you going to protect the wounded or not!" He snarled at her back. "Forget it, putting the drama before your pack. Maybe you should just stay here then." Realizing he was being a jerk Marc just sighed turning to Iker. "Thank you, I appreciate you carrying her..taking care of her." He patted the other male on the back. Marc is usually a possessive wolf even more so with Chey, but if ever another had to take his place in her life...it would be Iker. "I'll carry Donnie on my back." He offered looking to Drakota,"but you will have to carry Eliana. She is Rox's little sister, and is up in the cave hurt as well. What if Kay the new wolf protects us. She seems to have control of her wolf, and Joseph he is out in about..though probably close."
Raven shrieked in delight as Skye suddenly threw her over his shoulder her sides quivering in laughter. "Skye!" She said breathless turning her head so her mouth was against his ear. "Your making it hard for this to just be pretend." She whispered then moved away saying for all to hear. "Welp, what are we waiting for let's go. I wanna see how long he can carry me." She teased wiggling her brows at Rook and Aghana. "Scandalous." She said with a wink.
      Kayla sighed as she watched the pack buzz around her. She was still mad at Marc but she didn't dwell on it. She didn't mean to be so pushy, she just couldn't handle not knowing. That was one of her major pet peeves, being the last one to know things or not even finding out a big secret or whatever. Sometimes that made her nosey but most the time, it was stuff that she really did need to know... She gasped when something cold, wet snow hit her. She looked around to see who it was, a bit cross, until she noticed Blake with a grin on his face. She rolled her eyes at him, but gave a smile, even though she tried not to. She watched him as he interacted with Jayda and she gave him a thumbs up when he looked at her for approval, smiling at him. She went over to help him out with Jayda but Marc's words stopped her and she rounded on him, angry once again. She was much too short to get in his face but she tried. It was almost comical the way she stood on her toes to look him in the eye, but she was mad. "Maybe I should stay here, Marc? Or do you mean I should go back out there and hole up till I starve to death?" She stared at him, almost challenging him as she waited for a reply.
Hunter in the making // 16 // Werewolf
Tagged;; Marc and surrounding wolves
Kay leaves the cliffside for the pack and arrives just as another wolf, she thinks it's Marc, says her name. She jogs up a little bit closer before shifting and looking around them. "I could do that. I'm better suited for protecting than for carrying anyone. Which way are we taking everyone?" She asks as her pale blue eyes dart around the clearing, taking in the assorted wounded and assisting wolves. Kay ties her red hair up into a ponytail and can feel a more serious look on her face. Seeing her brother only strengthened her resolve to be with this pack and a look around at everyone told her that she could be useful. Kay also doesn't mention, but harbors the thought, that she would be most likely to drive away Dante if he came to attack. He had slipped pretty far an wasn't coming back... but judging by the way he looked at her out by the cliff, he would rather disengage from a fight than hurt his sister. Kay's also mildly surprised that nobody connected their scents, but she supposes that the entire pack hadn't smelled Dante. With a small shake of her head, Kay refocuses on the present. Marc was about to tell her where everyone was going and then they'd head off. It wouldn't be good to let her mind wander.
Marc was waiting for Drakota's approval of his plans not that he would wait to long before just doing it. He was bout to go get Donnie when Kayla rounded on him anger written all over her face. She even got on her tiptoes to get a snarl comment in. Marc couldn't help it he threw his head back letting out his deep chested laugh. He forced himself to get more serious as he smirked at her with his lopsided grin. "Look here toots, I would never wish that on any pack mate, but your being childish. We have Injuried wolves..look around..and your worried about your placement? I need you, and Kay to help me get them to the cabin. Now put on your big girl panties. The life of my mate, and our friends depend on this." He said ending it with a growl. Marc was not one to pretty his words, and much to his surprise...Chey still loved him. It was then that Kay caught his attention with her question. He turned to point in the direction they would be going. "It's bout a 30 min run in that direction...probably a hour with the wounded. Can you and Kayla handle protecting so many people?"
    Blaze narrowed her eyes ever so slightly at his words. He was charming, for sure. At the questioning about her night resides, the caution hit her suddenly. She had always been suspicious of people like herself, as much as she enjoyed their companionship, mostly because she knew her own motives, her own secrets and dark ways. If others acted similar, shouldn't she except the same from them as well? It was mere common sense. His seemingly cheerful persona was causing suspicion to arise within her. But she kept it at bay, reused to acknowledge the urge to make an excuse not to follow a human. Her wolf was struggling to cope with the fact that she was still talking to a different species, this species. She was surprised she hadn't killed him yet. Following would be a dangerous option while the internal wound was still fresh, but Blaze had never been a girl who made the best decisions. She answered his latest question nonverbally, stepping towards Samuel and closing the distance. "I'm actually not sure where I'm staying," she hummed, looking up into the trees in a façade of ponder. Her caramel gaze flickered towards the broad man as she continued. "For now, my hammock is my home. Granted I just made it in today, so there might be an open room available somewhere. I dunno, I don't mind sleeping outside." Her feet kicked slowly while they walked, dragging in the dusting of crystals and leaving trails behind her. She'd perfected the art of "leave no trace" but that was more of a wolf attitude than human, and she didn't want this guy getting uneasy. That lead to too many chances of mistakes. Mistakes were fatal in a wolf's world.
