Dylan sat down in the grass next to a tree and watched the fawn, his eyes big with curiosity. The deer looked up
slightly from the pond and stared at them, before dipping its head back down to lap up some more water. Dylan
leaned against the tree and scooted closer to Riley.

As the fawn gazed up to see them, Riley thought the creature would prance away, but instead it lowered its head and lapped more water from out of the pond. She didn't like startling animals, it just made her feel guilty for some unknown reason. She remembered once when she was smaller she had saw a deer back at home, she was walking home from a friend's house late at night when deer galloped across the street, flying right past her. Only the fawn stopped to look and stare at her, she held her hand out and touched the fawn's back. Then, the fawn looked back at its parents and followed them, leaving smaller Riley with a rather shocked expression on her face. "Do you think the fawn's scared of us?" she whispered to Dylan quietly, without disturbing the fawn.

Zach saw Dylan and Riley sit down so he grabbed the rabbit gently and walked over with them, being careful not to scare the fawn, he sat down next to Riley and set the rabbit in front of him, he smiled down at it and looked over at Dylan and Riley, then up at the fawn. The wind blew cooling him, and the tree had shade from the sweltering sun. He ran a hand through his hair and looked around, the mother of the fawn had to be around somewhere.

Riley's head turned around as she heard footsteps from behind her. She saw Zach with a bundle of fur in his hands. What is that? she asked herself in her head. As Zach took a seat on the grass and placed the bundle of fur in front of him, Riley realized that that was a rabbit. She stopped herself from letting out an 'awwwww' for the sake of the fawn nearby. As the rabbit started nibbling on the fresh green grass, Riley had already noticed that the rabbit seemed to move weird. Then, Riley's eyes examined a bandage on the leg of the rabbit made out of leaves, now she knew. The poor rabbit's leg was broken. She would've picked it up and hugged it, but of course she didn't want to hurt it.

He smiled and looked down "its cotton, or that's what Tessa named her, we found her in a thorn bush" he picked her up gently and placed her in Riley's hands. She was calm in Riley's hands she always seemed so calm, for a baby she wasn't very cautious. Zach smiled and looked over at Dylan before back at the rabbit. "Look she likes you" he chuckles slightly as the rabbit rests her head in Riley's hands. Zach sat criss cross and put his hands on his lap as he watched Riley.

Tessa

Smiled and followed him over to Riley and Zach. She nodded along when he explained what had happened with the bunny. She was more focused on the small deer in front of them. All this nature made her feel...peaceful and calm. She sat next to the group on the ground and watched the birds and bugs fly around the fawn. She had a serious expression on her face, she grabbed her bag and got out a few things. A drawing pad and a pencil. She began to trace out something and looked like she had already shut out the world to start making art.

"Cotton," Riley gave a small smile, repeating the name. As Zach placed Cotton in her hands, she felt a feeling of calmness. It was so peaceful out here. With her thumb, Riley softly stroked the rabbit as she rested her head on her hand. She looked up from the small rabbit and spotted Tessa, giving her a small smile. Tessa and her haven't really talked at all, as Riley was the quiet and shy type of gal. Riley's eyes landed on Cotton once more. Feeling like she was hogging the creature, she looked up at Dylan. "Do you want to hold her?" she asked with a smile.

Dylan felt the hair on his neck raise when Zach started speaking with Riley, placing the bunny in her hands.
He just watched the fawn, his eyes glued to its magnificence. When Riley asking him if he wanted to hold the
bunny, he graciously accepted and took the bunny out of her hands and into his. He looked at the bunny's soft
dark eyes and smiled very softly. He put the bunny back on the ground and looked over at Riley, standing up.
Want to take a walk? He asked, holding out his hand to help her up.

Riley carefully passed Cotton to Dylan. Her eyes locked on the fawn once more, they would rarely come out around people, and would most likely run away if people were watching. Her mind wondered to the question, Where is the fawn's mother? She shook herself out of her thoughts as Dylan got up to his feet and held his hand out for her to pull herself up, offering her to go on a walk with him. She nodded and took his hand, pulling herself up. Riley gave a little wave to Tessa and Zach before following Dylan.

Zach picked up the rabbit off the ground as Dylan set it down. "We should all probably get our tents set up first, before its to dark" he said calmly he walked over by Tess and looked at Dylan, then Riley, Zach's eyes were cold as usual but his tone was calmer and not as mean as it used to sound. He looked down at the small brown dots that covered the mostly white rabbit. He smiled down at it before going back to Dylan, raising his brows. He knew they were still in hot water, but lately Zach really just didn't want this anger every time he went near Dylan, he could always feel Dylan didn't like his presence.
