The Artist stepped out onto the desert once more. Except it wasn't a desert any longer. A great, spacious jungle of alien plants were growing around them, and the very sun itself had brightened, giving life to the new birth of the planet below. A strange creature peered at her from a nearby cluster of scarlet leaves before turning and fleeing, evidently displeased with their appearance.
Towards the left, a small dirt path stretched in one direction, disappearing over the next rise. Something brown was at the very end, if she looked right, and it appeared to be a box shape. Slowly, the Artist began to smile. Perhaps the planet had naturally helped them out, perhaps the Daleks felt less like Daleks today, if that was possible. Either way, in the distance stood their TARDIS, alive and waiting.
It was to her surprise when the Voyager dropped to the ground and began to weep, past events overwhelming him. A flash of silver then caught her eye and she took a sharp breath - it was a lunas, meaning "flower of the moon". Native to Gallifrey and Gallifrey only. Gently, she plucked the single flower and handed it to the Voyager. "There's always hope."
To her knowledge, the 'brakes' were nothing more than a myth. A group of young Time Lords and Ladies had started a rumor that had somehow taken hold. She didn't think sound could be turned off. However, for fear of upsetting the Voyager, she merely kept silent and allowed Chance to comfort him, feeling content for the first time in a long while.

The D a l e k s
∞ Age: Unknown ∞ Equipment: Death ray, manipulator arm, genius/cunning ∞ Mood: Calculating ∞
As the last golden-green whisps drifted away, the Dalek Supreme grated, "It is done. Your planet is being restored and the Cybermen have been exterminated." Then it looked at him almost expectantly, as if waiting.
While the Daleks almost never, if they could do so, kept their words or promises, Solider was a warrior - he would expect such a deception and try to get out of the deal himself. This time, the Supreme opted to follow through with the offer and the planet was truly healing and the Cyber threat gone. Solider would most likely agree to the terms, being human, and humans tended to be reliable in most cases. However, there was always a chance he would attempt to escape or weasel out of it. Maybe even deceive the Daleks. The Dalek Supreme's eye light contracted momentarily and their was a quiet whirr as it did so.
Then he would be exterminated, his body sufficient enough to be experimented on.

[ Sounds good. ]
