The Voyager backed away slowly, watching the sphere with anxiety. He joined his friends as they exited the room and went back up to the surface. Once they had gone a few steps away, The Voyager turned and came close to his friends. "The children. Soldier wants us to help the children." He whispered. He wasn't quite sure how far away Daleks could hear, but he hoped that this was far enough. "We could wait until the Supreme leaves to go and get them, or we could possibly fly the TARDIS directly in there..." He turned away and flailed his arms. "Suuuch a nervous wreck right now, I can't even remember what all the TARDIS
can do." He turned back. "Can it do that?" Then he shook his head. "No, it'll make the noise." Then his eyes lit up! "But not if we take the brakes off!" He turned around again, flailing. The situation was making him jittery and what he had just told the Dalek set on his mind hard. He felt like he was either going to cry or explode if he didn't. So, his mind made up for those mixed feelings by talking constantly and going in many directions at once. "Why do we always leave the brakes on? It must be a Time Lord thing. I always left the brakes on. My sister always did. My parents too! Why is that?? I don't understand!! WHAT IS IT WITH US AND BRAKES!!" He shouted the last bit, even though he knew he shouldn't.
Finally the urge to cry got the better of him and he flopped down on the ground in a sitting position with his knees pulled up close to his chest. He buried his head in them and wept. Memories flooded his brain as he cried silently, remembering his sister, his family, his childhood friends, all the people he had let down on Gallifrey. He remembered Laura, something he hadn't allowed himself to do in a long time. He knew his decision had been terrible. He didn't want to be in charge, that was why he left Gallifrey!! To avoid responsibility. To avoid making the wrong decision. Turns out that not making a decision was a decision in itself.
"What have I done?" He asked himself tearfully.
[Ahh sorry for not posting. Life did a thing. Also, sorry for so much information, but I really like The Voyager's character. So much fun to write. :3]
