gallop. run. canter. those are the only gaits you listen to. head held high, hold tight, focus. those are the words you've heard multiple times. you've never felt freedom as you have when you're galloping a horse. its a natural instinct to urge a horse into a gallop, always has been. no matter where you are, a racetrack, a meadow, a pasture, a desert. anywhere is fine to you. you've always been the type of kid who would be ahead of all the other riders, running your horse ahead of the pack.

you've been a student/rider at running creek stables for years now. having worked with all different horses and people, enjoying almost every moment of it. you've gained and lost friends, the years going by pretty quick. and now the time has come that you have finally graduated from high school, time to move on. but theres no way you're leaving running creek behind. you have decided to enroll into running creek equestrian career college. of course you are accepted into the horse college. but, its not that time of year yet. its the beginning of summer. before you start college, its time to have some summer fun with the other riders. and fun to you, its galloping your horse someplace. meadows, beaches, racetrack, ect. , ect.

I am making this high literate. I expect at least 10+ descriptive [a paragraph] sentences in each post. of course I'm very grateful if its way more then that! I will allow 5+ with writers block, but please don't use that as an accuse all the time. I mean really, how hard is it to write 10 sentences? also, you must use proper grammar. I WILL NOT be providing any forums for your characters. Its up to you to come up with your own forums. please, make them pretty and useful. It must include first+last name, age[17 1/2-19], gender, personality, a image, their pet[s] [if any], their horses, and any extra you want. no using cartoon or anime pictures for your characters please. I'm fine with references from a cartoon or something, but make sure you're including a real life image as well.

Each member may have ONE character. considering there is only six spots. each rider may have three horses. also, each rider may have up to five other pets. I will only reserve your spot for two days, thats it. I can't wait any longer then that. but if you give me an important reason why you haven't posted your forum yet, I may reserve it longer, tell me before hand. please MESSAGE ME privately that you're reserving a spot.

please keep all romance, violence, and swearing and other elements under a minimum. this is a child friendly website after all. I don't want this roleplay being locked because it went past pg limits. If things get to "serious" please fade to black or something. take note that even if you roleplayed it in private messaging, you'll still get in trouble. I will not, under any circumstances, allow any kind of power-playing, godmodding, or gary/mary sue's. Its quite annoying when someone makes their character the best. And no, you can't win every competition.

out of character. when out of character please use some kind of brackets { Ex. {}, [], or () }. although I strongly recommend you don't go out of character to often in roleplays. text talk really annoys me when somebody uses it while roleplaying. so please, DO NOT use it! unless your character is actually texting. I will only allow G2g, Brb, Lol, Btw, ect; But these are used when OOC.

I expect you to be active since you've joined. If you don't post for two weeks, I will contact you and may reopen your spot. Please let me before hand if you will not be active for a certain amount of time. eespect is a strong rule. newport bey is his show name, but everybody just calls him newport. brent is often heard calling him tooty as well. newport is a eight year old stallion. he is a purebred bay arabian standing at 16.1hh. newport competes best in cross country and weakest in dressage. brent has owned him for about four years, not to long, he was her second horse. newport was originally brent's mother's horse, she had bought him from an unsecured home. newport was raised in a show barn for hacking. they had abused him and finally came to conclusion he was a "reject". the previous owner said she was scared to death of him, so he just sat around in a stall for about a year. brent's mother was looking for a horse to learn to ride on, but she was a sucker for animals in "distress". so she bought him in a heartbeat. it took them literally three hours just to get him into the trailer. her mother was afraid to ride him anywhere but the arena cause he kept throwing her off, over stupid stuff like a leaf blowing. he just had extremely low confidence in himself. one year later her mother decided she needed to sell him and get herself a gaited horse because she was having neck/back problems from falling off. she asked brent to start riding him to help with selling him. brent then sort of took over and her mother didn't have the heart to sell him anymore, making newport brent's. brent took off where her mother stopped. it took a very long time to finally be able to ride him properly. but hard work and trust finally paid off. now brent and newport are competing in eventing, they aren't the best but their good enough. brent loves him to death and spoils him so much. although, even now newport tends to be bucky and spooked easily. he doesn't trust a lot of people, only letting brent ride him. newport still throws brent off and such, refusing jumps, ect. he doesn't get along with other horses to well expect brent's other horses; callie & brice. newport likes to be mischievous, always disobeying. his also extremely stubborn and impatient.

Parker Hayes Linden [Parker], is a 19 year old young man. His mother and father are both...well off... people, okay more like filthy rich, but despite all this they're very down to earth and kind people, his whole family is. His parents actually own a ranch, they breed cattle and horses and make good money out of it, but his father made his own fortune by buying failing companies and making them profitable again then selling them. His mother got her own separate small fortune through writing novels. He also has an older brother and a younger sister. In a relationship, let's get this out of the way, he is interested in females only. He is straight.



riding.

In riding, Parker does/has done a couple things. Currently his main riding in the english discipline. His strength is Dressage, and his weakness is probably going to be competing in the hunters. His intermediate is show jumping, he is much better, but he seems to prefer Dressage. In western he does some rodeo and he does some reining. His strongest is probably going to be calf roping, and his weakest is going to be pole bending. He is good at reining, so that is his intermediate. He has been riding since he could remember, probably since he was 3 years old. So he's been riding for 16 years! As a rider he is calm and confident, relaxed, deals well with a big buck. He is more worried about getting a proper connection than anything else.
