JEANETT
--- 'anna' ----- tagged; clarissa, markus
unlike her adopted sister, jeanett woke up far from graceful. it took hitting snooze a few times before she could actually drag herself from out of bed with a groan, rubbing her eyes sleepily as she headed for her dresser. there was a faint clatter as she pulled out a casual outfit that fitted the autumn air, considering a chill occupied the breeze that wasn't evident in the warmer seasons. it took around ten to thirteen minutes before the blonde was ready to go to school, dressed in skinny jeans, beige combat boots, and a white t-shirt underneath a longer cinnamon-colored cardigan that reached around mid-thigh. surely she would wear an outfit to welcome the season of autumn, correct? jean's hair was a whole other issue -- it took forever to brush through it and make it look tidy, per usual; her generous natural curls took quite a bit of work, but they were worth it in the end -- and just as she grabbed her backpack and phone, heading down the stairs and ready to go, she heard scampering outside the door. of course she missed clarissa for a ride again. jeanett never seemed to wake up early enough. either way, the older female was seeming a bit more suspicious lately; the younger didn't know if it was just her thinking this or if it was others around them too.
after grabbing a packet of poptarts, jeanett headed out the door: it wasn't much longer than eighteen minutes later when she had arrived at the school. she greeted a few of her acquaintances as she walked along down the hallways, humming lightly to herself. despite having to walk, she still seemed to have a cheerful aura surrounding her, and by the looks other groggy students were giving her, it was obvious they didn't appreciate her optimism so early in the morning as much as she herself appreciated it. eventually the blonde found herself at her locker, exchanging her backpack for a few items: a notebook, sketchbook, physics book, and a pencil. she tended to bring almost too much to class sometimes. casting a look over her shoulder after closing the locker door blue eyes landed on someone awfully familiar.
"hey, markus!" she greeted with a beaming grin as she walked over, noticing he was by his locker and looking none-too happy. or, at least, not as happy as she was.
