Skylar moved from the shadows, running a hand through her dark golden locks. She stared down at her beat up combat boots in boredom, looking for someone to interact with. Slowly, her mind drifted to her family, but she stopped herself, swearing never to go running back home again. Glancing around once more, she moved from her perch, blowing hair out of her face. The cold air didn't bother her in the least, in fact it felt rather soothing. Hearing Alex introduce himself, she walked over. Upon her face there was her ever-present mixture of a smile and a smirk that had become somewhat of a signature expression, never seeming to leave her fair features. She introduced herself, "Hey, I'm Skylar. You know who's in charge around here?" she asked. She had heard a lot about this group, but not enough to know people by name.

Gunner watched carefully as a blonde girl and a boy walked up to him. She seemed like a nice girl, not one to be joining a runaway camp. Gunner was always slightly rough on girls he though seemed "preppy". He smirked lightly, crossing his arms. "Well, Renn, I'm Gunner, and this is a runaway camp." He sneered lightly, glancing at Tanner then back at Renn. "We're here because we practically want to get away. Me, I personally just live on the streets, and let's just say it gets a little old. So I'm here. Why're you here?" He asked, shifting his weight under him, arms still crossed.

Haydon sighs, looking as people selected tents and sleeping areas. He quietly walked to a small tent, probably for one really personal person or two small, less spacey people. With one quick movement of his shoulder and arm, his backpack slid of his shoulder, his messy brown hair swaying across his face slightly. He quietly sat at the doorway of his tent, his knees pulled up as he looked through his bag, only three water bottles. He pulls the one he had started out and drank a few sips from it, as he knew better than to waste his food and water supply. He then tossed the bag onto the sleeping space he claimed, wiping sweat from his face with the bottom of his shirt, letting it slip from his fingers before standing, stretching, and sitting back down. He didn't care if someone spoke to him, but he didn't have an opinion either way.

Blaine sighs, her tall black boots making sounds as she jumps down from the small mound, her naturally pin straight chocolate colored hair waving in front of her hair. Her ocean colored eyes glanced around, but went wide as she saw others; she had made it! She let out a small laugh, the tattoo on her wrist showing slightly as she pulls her hair behind her ear, the freshly made flower crown sitting atop her tan body. She spotted a guy and a girl speaking, a small smile creeping across her face, her lips parting as she talks. "Hi. You must have made it here a little bit ago. I'm Blaine." She says after the girl says her name and asks for the kid's. She felt like she was butting in, so she quickly apologized. "Sorry... was I interrupting?" She asks, taking a step back slightly. She saw many other people who were being anti-social, but Blaine had always been a slightly more social person than you'd expect.

renn glanced up at Gunnar with her big blue eyes and gave a small smile not letting any of his snarky words get to her. she was used to the attitude of your average runaway, after all most never understood why her, such a pretty and happy girl would runaway. they judge you before you can even explain yourself out here and that's why she had tanner. thinking her words through she finally spoke up her voice never wavering. "me and tanner here were just staying in the forest for a night... looking for a place to stay but if it's welcome we're gunna stay here. oh and before you write me off i might as well say i ran away from an abusive family thank you." letting her words die off she looks to tanner and nods.

tanner looked to both gunnar and renn as they continued to talk. he let out a sigh as renn gave him a small nod dismissing him. giving a quick nod back he looked to gunnar for a second and then walked off to find an open tent. coming across a two person tent he slipped in and set his bag down opening it up to reveal the contents. tanner grabbed out a blanket that he'd snagged from a store during a cold day and laid it out. finishing up with sorting through his items he positioned himself at the entrance of the tent so renn could find him later.

Gunner chuckled softly, "Well then, good for you." He smirked softly, leaning back against a tree, arms still crossed. "So you and your older bro, this is your first runaway, huh?" He said with a small flick of his head toward Tanner, who was in the tent.

Renn let out a small laugh, something that happened rarely. "Me and Tanner aren't related... we just met along the way and he helped me out." she starts her voice still rather cheery. "But I've been on the run for nearly two months now... From what I know Tanner has been out longer... How about you?" Giving a small smile Renn let her eyes gaze around the camp. This was pretty nice...

Gunner smirked, glancing around before answering, "Well, I left my house about two years ago. Ivy only been back maybe twice, only a few minutes and when they were gone. Just to grab some stuff. But besides that I've been out and about since." He replied nonchalantly, shrugging lightly. "Ya' get used to it." He looked around, then looked back at her.

Renn hangs on to every word that comes out of Gunnar's mouth. She was quite interested in hearing someone else's story and the fact that he'd been on his own for two years amazed her. "Two years?" she asked in a sort of awe her big blue eyes shining brightly. This made her wonder about how long she'd stay out on the streets before finally finding a normal life.

after plopping her bag down outside the tent, which was a two-person though she doubted anyone would approach her and join her in it, she decided it would be better to shove her stuff inside, so that's what she did. she set her bag inside, taking out a thin raggedy blanket from her backpack, which was the blanket she ran away with. it was important to her, considering her mother gave it to her years ago after sewing it. though it didn't look like much, the blanket was one of her only belongings, and it was even warm. good job, mom.

heidi set her backpack atop the blanket after spreading it out on her side of the tent, then headed back out. her eyes wandered around the camp of teenagers, observing how it looked like plenty were arriving; they'd all have to take off soon if they wanted to stay safe. that meant they would have to be on the move plenty, and the thought drew a frown onto the blonde's face. she noticed a male stepping out of the tent next to her and her frown turned into a faint grin, however.

"hey, neighbor," she said, speaking with a teasing tone, hands behind her back as she took a step towards him. "how are you on this fine day?"

let's be honest: heidi wasn't usually this social, so it was a surprise she was being so talkative right now. first with that leader guy and now with her new 'neighbor', as she liked to call him, she seemed to be a lot more cheerful. maybe it was just because she found a new group and potential friends, hm?
