- alex paced around the camp sight in the middle of the woods, wondering when izzy would return or if she would return period. being her older brother, he felt as if it was his job to take her to a place where she belonged. then again, what would he know about where she belonged? he hadn't seen or spoken to his sister in over a year, but alex had a pretty good feeling that where she was wasn't the place that she needed to be. he ran his hand through his hair, beginning to worry, but soon enough, he started to hear footsteps coming his way. "alex?" izzy called out to him, but he was already there next to her. "you actually came," alex said. "you're going to have to learn so much now that you're here and we have to catch up on everything that's happened and—" he stopped, seeing the smile on izzy's face. "what?" she just looked at him and replied that it's nothing and went to put her bags down. "i'll give you some time to get settled. there's only so many tents, so grab one while you still can," he joked, already happy to be back with his sister.

- after izzy's dad was asleep, she knew it was try to go. she crawly out of bed slowly, slid on some jeans, and pulled out the packed bag she had prepared the night before. izzy boxx was running away from home. this was probably not the most expected thing for people to hear, but it was actually happening. she tiptoed down the hall and out the door as quiet as possible, which was unnecessary, because her dad was a heavy sleeper. using the path she had used before, she went deep into the woods until she reached the campground. "alex?" she called out, hoping to get her brother's response instead of another runaway. luckily, he was already waiting for her. he was clearly happy to see her. alex went on excitedly about what was going to happen and she just smiled and walked away to put her bags down. clearly, life with the runaways was going to be different than her normal life, but alex made it seem life heaven when he rambled on about the benefits of living in the woods. izzy just shook her head, laughing a little. sure, life out here will be just great.
