After the castle staff, the duke himself bowed before the prince. He gave a soft smile and bowed back, not one to be rude. As he stood up straight, he unconsciously smoothed out a sleeve as he spoke in an apologetic tone, "I apologize deeply if my family or I am causing you any trouble Duke of Bymere, and am also am very grateful that you have accepted me into your country." He paused for a moment and smiled, "Yours is truly a beautiful place." Everything Haylin would say was the honest truth, he could never bring himself to lie to anyone let alone a duke and if he did, it was often, very obvious. The young prince had already taken a liking to this place so he hoped that he might be visiting more often. It was nice and calming, unlike his country where there was always something happening. It was noisy and incredibly agitating, especially when his mother and father wanted him to study and be "the best you can be," without any distractions.

Maria was unfazed, used to the things people said about her background and herself. In fact, being called a, "glorified stablegirl," was probably one of the nicer things she had been called. She bowed before the prince and only stood up straight again when he had stridden off. "I mean no disrespect, Prince Merek but Sir Lionel Rames is the knight in charge of your well-being, I am but a squire, an assistant if you may to Sir Lionel." She was not exactly sure of the situation herself but sounding sure would definitely help. She noticed the nervous servant next to the prince and was about to smile until he had so very subtly narrowed his eyes at her. So instead she offered him a puzzled look, slightly confused as to why he would do such a thing. They were kind of in the same position were they not?
