Milo jumped upon hearing Steven yell at Nick to get away from the equipment. Of course, he naturally turned his head with inhuman speed to glare at the young man and make sure he had listened. It was always comical to see Steven in action just before the shoot, because he seemed to think that everything fell on him to get in order. He looked up attentively as Steven rambled about his lost watch, and the infamous schedule that Milo had heard nothing about. Steven liked to organize everything for them and then scramble around like a madman trying to get everyone to follow it. Milo didn't have any concerns (other than the fact Nick was wasting time by trying to cuddle with Kaylin) about them not getting everything accomplished before dark, but there was pretty much nothing he could do to soothe Steven. He'd tried all throughout the previous season, but the guy acted like he was being tazed and tortured if you tried to take his self-assigned job from him. Milo only hoped that, after they'd gotten set up and were lounging in home base, Steven would see there was nothing else to do but let the camera crew do their job. It was a far cry, but maybe someday. He looked down at the computer that he was checking and chuckled while Steven rambled about finding a home base and asking where Voodoo had gone. Milo looked down under the table, having previously spotted the cat playing with the cords that he drooped off of the table. "Doo is right here, Steven!" he called out, bending down and gently picking the black cat up from the mess he had made. "You're supposed to be finding us some ghosts, buddy. Not my power cord." The cat struggled to get free, putting its paws on Milo's nose and pushing away. Milo was extremely glad he'd given Cynthia the money to declaw him. Normally he wouldn't want to put a cat through that, but when tensions got high and all you wanted to do was hold a nice, cuddly, warm creature... it didn't feel too nice to have the creature rip holes in you.
The cat meowed as if Milo was torturing it, and he flinched. Steven was so weird about the cat, one would be prone to thinking it was his and not Cynthia's. He quickly set Doo down on the ground and stood back up after watching the cat scramble in Steven's general direction. He was all ready to go. All that needed to be done was to get home base established, move all of the equipment in, set up cameras around the building and then test the connections with the laptops and the bluetooth earpieces. He moved over, attaching his own earpiece rather hastily. He knew he wouldn't really be on camera at all, so he didn't care if it showed.

Nick exhaled sharply in slight pain as Kaylin dug her elbow into his stomach. He smiled right away, though, showing that he wasn't irritated by it. Their relationship was full of playing and teasing, and what some couples would get mad about, was just how they showed each other their love. Of course, the rest of the crew found it irritating and childish, sometimes. Kaylin replied that they were already famous and proceeded to call him by his professional name, and he rolled his eyes. Of course, just as he went to speak, she said "we're not all as egotistical as you, honey," in that accent of hers. He took a step back, raising his eyebrows after she kissed his cheek and sauntered away.
"Already in character, are we?" he muttered under his breath, smirking at her back while she walked into the center of the room and began admiring the room aloud. He was admiring her at the same time, biting his lip and watching her in all of her excitement. He couldn't wait for them to finish this season together. They'd be that couple that was talked about on news stations and the one that dressed alike at awards ceremonies and was all fans could talk about. He knew they had the ability to do it. Of course, he didn't think anything about the rest of the crew. He sometimes forgot they were even there, the little diva he was. His attention, of course, was caught as Jayna watched across the center of the room and went over by Steven with the map. He cleared his throat, looking down and running his hand through his hair to fix the intricate spikes.
He saw the sparkle in his girlfriend's eyes as she moved over by Steven's abandoned laptop. Raising his eyebrows, he watched her sneakily, daringly place her hand on top of it. He chuckled, finding a seat nearby and pulling it over to him before sitting down. He obviously wasn't going to do any work to get anything ready--so why not just sit and watch the action?
