Well the little girl had a temper on her that was for sure, it was actually kind of humorous. Her face contorting and drawing herself up like she was about to trample someone. A grin cracked across his own face at her behaviour, albeit she was slightly annoying. He watched the snake slither round the girl’s neck and she promptly forced it back down to her waist. His attention was shifting between the two people, but mostly he was focused on the little girl’s antics.
“My ninnies? Ah, yes, they are quite fabulous aren’t they?” He chuckled, supporting imaginary breasts then let his hands fall back to his sides. “Eat me? But that’s called cannibalism and it’s frowned on in most societies.” A smirk still played at the edge of his lips but his attention moved back to the other boy who was starting to speak in his thick Irish accent, likewise teasing the little girl.
“Yes Canadian,” he laughed. “I wasn’t aware we had recognizable accents.” How curious, this was a new fact to him. For a moment he arched his eyebrow at Quinn’s hand, wondering why it was on the little girl’s head. There was no way they were related, that much was obvious as day. “Yeah, I saw this little girl teleport. It was weird, but then again a lot of things are weird now.” He wasn’t going to mention the fact that he felt electricity humming through his veins or the fact that he had caused a street light to explode. At least not yet, he didn’t need that kind of drama.
“Yeah man, nice to meet you too. And yeah, sullen guy, gets into a lot of fights, that’s Adam.” His grin dropped a little at the words, but he pulled it back up again, hopefully before the other two noticed a difference.
Then the little girl just snapped, her face twisting into a rage and crushing Quinn’s fingers between her teeth. Even he grimaced at it. “Hey now, that was a little harsh,” he laughed to the girl as she frantically pawed at her tongue like she had just tasted the most rancid thing on the planet. He next exclamation was funny though and Kevin once again nearly doubled over in his laughing fit.
Just, as long as nobody touched him he was going to be okay. He didn’t know how this thing of his worked yet or if he was just crazy. Either way he didn’t want to accidentally kill someone with all the volts flowing through him. “Alright, so this clearly isn’t really getting us anywhere. Should we maybe go do something? Evidently all adults have vanished and everything is going to collapse in an anarchy pretty soon so maybe we should beat the crowd? Loot stores before everyone else does?” Maybe he was getting a little ahead of himself here, but oh well.

Music blasted through his headphones, easily loud enough for the other boy next to him to hear although only one of the earbuds was actually in his ear. His feet were planted firmly on the floor of the car and his arms crossed over his chest with nothing but annoyance and anger in his eyes. The car was nice, he would admit, but not aloud. An old ’69 camaro, he’d been looking at getting one once but hadn’t had the money or the drive to actually go do it. The brakes were awful though, letting out a shrill wail of protest as they pulled out of the parking lot.
While the other boy was reaching into the glove compartment for something he seemed to be unable to find Adam himself dug into the pockets of his own jacket. Removed
“Name?” That caught his attention and for the first time he spoke, his voice was hoarse and rough. “Adam.” He didn’t care who knew his name or not, it was one of the things he had never understood about his brother though. Kevin didn’t seem to like people knowing his name. “You?”
