eva's eyes widened, then narrowed as amelia changed forms. she had to admit, the girl made a beautiful bird. on the other hand, though, she couldn't believe that she'd simply left her and willow behind. turning, the blonde blinked at willow's question. "uh, yeah, actually. what do you say we get out of here, ya'know, before the guards bust in?" she figured that willow's use of the word 'too' meant she was also like them. a shifter. throwing herself into the change, eva's pale blonde hair lengthened, fading into a mixture of white, blue and black feathers. in the place of the girl stood a small blue jay, black eyes staring up at the form of willow. the bird gave a nod and pushed off from the ground, wings beating furiously as she sailed out of the open sky light. once in the free air eva stopped, tweeting frantically as she waited for willow.

"Yeah, good idea. Also, in case they do get in before we get out, I'm gonna make a distraction." Willow let a stream of fog flow from her fingertips, enveloping the room with the water vapor. "You might want to get out before your wings get wet!" After she was satisfied by the cover of the fog, she shifted into her bird, the duck. Her body shrank as her feet became webbed and her hair morphed into feathers. Her nose stretched out and flattened, becoming a beak. In seconds, a bird stood in her place. She began flapping her wings slowly, as ducks have a large amount of body fat and need a bit of flapping before the takeoff or else they fall to the ground. After they are in the air, momentum keeps them going. In a while, she was hovering, ready to escape and leave this place forever.
