With ~ Mood ~ Current illusion
Kacey ~ tense ~ full body illusion, will appear to what 'says' innocent to each particular person (appears 18)
Kat watched Kacey step into the meadow and 'talk' to the wolf, if that's what it was - the talking-through-thoughts wasn't exactly 'natural' for a normal animal. She stayed just slightly inside the woods, as Kacey seemed to have it handled; they weren't fighting anyhow.
When Kacey confirmed that she was... unnatural, just like Kat, Kat wasn't really surprised, she had predicted it anyway. But she did feel slightly guilty. Hiding something like this supernatural secret was a lot different then hiding what you looked like. Psychology, from what Kat knew, showed Kat that many people figure out how to trust someone from their appearance- and such, to trick someone like that would invite anger or similar emotions. Well, psychology was a lot more complex, but it was a summed up version.
As Kacey turned around after admitting her ability to control fear - if that was what she does - Kat realized that in the field before her where two people... creatures, with powers like her; and through out her years of traveling she hadn't met one. She didn't want them to just go yet. She wanted to communicate more- for if she went now, would she ever see that wolf again? And when Kat left town, would she ever see Kacey again? She wanted a bit more time. She wouldn't miss up this opportunity. So she searched for something to keep them here.
The wolf seemed to have been recently in a fight.
"Are you hurt?" She said nervously, but her voice was unwavering.
