Aspen was wondering the forest, bored out of her mind. She was in her wolf form, her pitch black pelt standing out against the vivid green underbrush. To keep form being noticed, she normally kept to the shadows, which gave her better cover. She suddenly heard a yelp form a few meters away, and her ears swiveled in that direction. What's going on here? She thought, sinking low to the ground and stalking over. From her spot in the shadow of a large tree, she saw a red-brown she-wolf stalking in half-circles around a tawny wolf. Tilting her head, she slowly crept closer.

Isabelle
She gave a small laugh before spotting the black wolf her lip formed a snarl but no noise came out. She blows this for me I will be mad. She thought to herself she looked to Cole seeing him plop down she got behind him and jumped on top of him snarling.

Cole
Before Cole realized what was happening he felt something tackle him from behind. Just by the sound if the snarls he could tell it was another werewolf. Luckily his reflexes had caused him to move his front paws forwards thus saving him from a face plant. His red ears perked upwards as his green eyes tried to find any sign of the attacker."Well aren't you a sneaky one. Finally decide to show yourself I see" he said calmly a smug look across his wolf features. Surprisingly he wasn't scared or even worried about the other wolf. He figured it would have attacked early if that was its intentions rather than play around. Cole readjusted himself on his paws and forced all his weight to one side causing him to roll over onto his back and hopefully knock off the other wolf.

(This is my last post for the night. Ill be back on in the morning so a few hours from now)

• Grew up in Oakglenn with her father. Her mother died when she was young. She has no siblings.
• Learned the skills of archery, hunting and living off the land from her father.
• Father was killed by a werewolf in the original attack on Oakglenn. Artemis was seperated from her father at the time and forced to flee into the woods. There, she survived by staying off the ground (sleeping and keeping mostly to the trees) and applying the skills her dad had taught her. She crafted herself a bow out of yew, another skill her father taught her, and used arrows of stripped wood and bird feathers for fletching.
• Now lives in the forest by herself, hasn't seen survivors and believed she's completely alone

I had this idea for her where there was some mutation in her lycanthropy and it ended up so she couldn't, or had little control over when she shifted. Fluctuations in emotion, stress, excitement could cause her to shift, or it could be completely random. She would retain her conscious in her wolf form, but would not be very stable and might fade in and out of consciousness at first. I'd expect her to develop a little better control later on, but I figures it'd add a fun twist! Tell me if you would like that I didn't do this and she has normal control over her wolf form.

She smiled catching on his paw as he moved she moved from over him.-"Sneaky if you say so. I thought you had enough so yes I showed myself." Her voice turned out the be gental and soft unlike her growl, she sat down looking at him her tail lashing softly.-"I'm Isabelle, and you are?"she asked softly.

Cole
Cole rolled back over so that he was belly down and stood back up. He shook his red pelt vigorously trying to get out the loose debris he had picked up from the ground. Satisfied he had done his best Cole straightened his posture and sat down. His ears perked up and he tilted his head as he looked this Isabelle wolf over. "My name is Cole" he said simply.

She giggled lightly shaking her brown fur, she looked over at him.-"Hello Cole, You having fun?"-She giggled her tail lashing softly.

Wonder why she is giggling? Did sonething funny happen and I missed it? he wondered. "I wouldn't say I was having fun. It was more irritating than anything. I was busy trying to track some food down and that's when I ran into you... Why the games anyways?" he asked. As soon as he finished his sentence his stomach let out a loud gurgling growl. Cole let out a small whimper and shifted his weight trying to quiet the noise.

She smiled.-"I was just walking and I seen you, so I don't know, Your hungry I brought a little bunny with me its not much but you know."-She said softly trotting off into the brush and grabbing the small brown bunny and bringing it to him.-"Here its a least I could do for irritating you and making you hungry."-She smiled softly.
