'I always look at those barren woods whenever i drive by. it's always there- and it seems to be calling me. i heard the wind rattle the barren branches, even when no wind passes, and the calling... almost like howling. maybe roaring.. no. it drives me insane- i know the place is dangerous. i know its not safe. i have heard the rumors. "whoever goes in there never comes out. they find bodies." but that's what they are. gossip, rumors. i leave tonight for the barren trees.' These are the last words known of a girl named Angel Prescott. A beauty she was, but never was known to come out. her house, now "haunted" is at the end of maple lane, and her mother has died of cancer, her father died at war. no ones knows what came of her, but some people say they see glowing eyes- the exact color of angels. an icy blue, but not of her. of a wolf. they say it can't be, but it is. she is a wolf, now, but not a regular wolf. a werewolf. but she came out- no she comes out at night. the days spent there turned her mad- and she turned a few people to her kind before retreating. now, no one has seen her, but she lives with a pack while the city dwellers live in fear of the werewolves who live now in their town. are you one of them, or a human?

around this city, there are many small shops. along with mostly only gated communities, or mansions with high security. this is on the human's side of town, though, and on the werewolves/shapeshifters are crappy apartment and bad shacks. this is why they live in woods most of the time, whether they are loners or in the pack. the fancy restaurants are on the human's side of the town, and the small businesses and general stores are on the werewolf's side, or the downtown. it is a big city, with many shops and nice places, but nice little alley ways with cute little shops and many places to go. near the downtown, there is a lake with rocks and a river that isn't strong and deep, and it leads to a nice little under water cave. it takes only a few seconds under water to get there, so it is easily accessible with a large hole in the top where, at midnight, the moon shines through. this is the town you live in, or maybe the two you try to live in, but you still... know about it.

it is fairly warm out with small breezes, bright sunshine, and little
to no clouds. it is a good time to go to the lake and beach, though
school will start soon, as it is almost fall. it gets chilly at night, but
days are warm and good enough to go outside.

his name is carson nafey lee. call him carson or car, depends if you want to be his friend or a bully. though, it isn't the best idea to get on his bad side. he's almost too nice to be a shape shifter, but he is also one of the most powerful- being one of the few who were changed first, an changed others. these shifters were supposed to be mean, but he wasn't. his heart was too big. he will often be seen as a beautiful animal with the most beautiful lavender colored eyes. he is not very muscle-y, but he is very smart, which is why he is a senior in high school, at the age of eighteen. he drives an old truck, since he can't afford much more, and he lives in the lower part, but in a lightly wooded area. he literally lives in a tree house, though it is fairly nice for where he lives. it is only accessible by climbing as a shape shifter, or him carrying you. his hair is brown, and his skin fair. he likes sitting up town, scaring people since he fees powerful when he is in one of his animal forms. he is kind of shy, but he always takes up the offer to.... befriend someone since chances like that never come for him. only if you get to know him do you see his true nature- dark and mysterious. this doesn't come around a lot either, but being asked out does, though. the popular girls think it is funny to ask him out as a game to see who he will say yes to, though his father has money and they don't know. his father, a human, lives in one of the largest mansions. his mother was killed by a shape shifter, the same one who turned him, so now his father hunts shifters and werewolves, which is why carson stays in hiding.

My age you ask? well I'm 17, turning 18 this december. My birthday is on december 2nd and I was born in 1996. I have medium length hair that goes down to my just below my shoulders. My hair is pretty curly but I do straighten it sometimes, I don't normally style it though. I'll only really style my hair for special occasions. My hair is plain blonde and I have never and will never die it. My eyes are grey, yes I know that it's pretty unusual to have grey eyes but I got them from my mom. I have longish eyelashes to go with my eyes, they are also pretty dark so I don't really wear masquera alot. I have small pink lips, so they are pretty regular. I am really shy in one word, I don't really speak much as when I do it's normally with a stutter, I can't really help it and it's really hard to not. I have been sort of outgoing before but that is pretty rare for me. I hate talking about my history, but I'll tell you if you must know. Ever since I was born my parents were constantly fighting. It got so bad that the police came a few times. When I was eight my mom just packed up her stuff and left. My dad was pretty heartbroken, which lead to the drinking. I honestly can't remember a time he hasn't been drunk since then. He abused me and still does I'm not crushing on anyone currently, though I'm looking for someone who sparks my interest. I'm also not dating anyone right now. I am afraid of Spiders, alcohol, my dad, dying, and most animals. If I come across most of these things I'll either leave or scream. I geuss I'm sorta an outsider at school, I don't really fit in with any of the other groups.
