Well, if you mean emotional rank, Elspeth goes a lot deeper. She has a case of depression that is carefully hidden from layer upon layer of disguise. She thinks a lot about cutting, how hard it would be to just gouge hard paths into her skin... She doesn't think of suicide much, but then again, cutting is much worse. Actually, she's tried cutting once and made a small scrape that she got 'by accident.' She is a hard-working quiet girl everywhere but with about two friends, although all but one realize anything at all, much less all of it.

Fawn Elphinstone | District Four ;; Fishing | 16 Years Old
Fawn's appearance slightly portrays her name. She has lighter brown hair, that if straightened reaches down to her elbows if her arms are set straight next to her sides. Fawn has naturally curly hair and when it's decided to curl, it reaches just beneath her shoulders. When it snows, her hair appears to be that of a darker coated fawn, hence the name. Fawn has slightly broader shoulders than the average female, but it doesn't bother her the slightest bit. She is also a little taller than others, but not by much, maybe a few inches or something like that. This girl still intends to move elegantly, yet has a slight slouch when sitting. Her eyes are a paler blue than normal, sometimes confusing others to think she is blind. Yet she isn't blind, but Fawn can't see very well up close. Fawn's father is a fisher, while her mother stays at home with her two younger siblings. She doesn't appear to be underfed, but isn't extremely well fed either. It's true that she usually sneaks portions of her food to the younger children of the household, wanting them to remain healthy.


Fawn actually has quite the deceiving personality. Due to her name being the way it is, some people would think she is a gentle, kind-hearted and caring individual. Although, these do not become a part of her personality for a quite a while, or until you know her. In reality she can actually be very arrogant and hard-headed, often taking things her own way. Being this way, she is also brash, tending to get doing things as quick and as easily as she can. Fawn can also be a bit naïve, and she hasn't experienced many other things than falling almost getting hooked by a fishing rod. If you learn to ignore these qualities, you can get past this thorny barrier and to the softer center, getting to know the other Taylor.


Every person must have their own weaknesses and strengths, plus Fawn. She is quite good at swimming, climbing trees, and is very quick on her feet. Even though she is broad-shouldered, Fawn isn't strong and can easily be overpowered. Plus, being rash, she is more fight than flight. Her worst fear is drowning in her favorite thing, water.


Fawn has a pretty normal family. A mother, father, and two younger brothers. One seven, the other five. Her mother is soothing and gentle, her father being a bit rough but still caring all the same. As many brothers are, she deems them annoying.
She has no boyfriend, crush, nor any children. Fawn enjoys drawing, hiking, swimming, any kind of physical activity, and fishing. A few things she dislikes are bugs, fire, electricity and especially rich meats. Fawn cannot stand rich meat, even if it's slightly bloody.

Lacey Weavers district 8 Textile

Everyone thinks of 8, as nothing, as easy targets. However Im not. Im 17 and I have strengths that arent to be overlooked. And weaknesses like everyone, but not as many as you'd think. Oh yeah, call me Lace if you must. It sounds not as weak as Lacey, I think I like it better. As for personality, Im a tomboy despite my looks and am quiet and mostly unsocial. I have no allies and do not plan on any just yet, and as for a love life? Forget it, you capital stranger. Me in love? Ha, I've seen one boy here I like, but he's too focoused on winning and being a career to notice the quiet girl from 8, me. And no boy awaits me back home or even likes me for the matter. Only my family loves me, so theres no one speacual to keep fighting for.

If you cannot see already, Im pale and have dark long hair. I dont try to stand out in my dressings and have no clue what my stylist will have me wearing. But since this picture doesnt show it, I have blue eyes. And I almost never give a smile from happiness. I know, forget getting a sponser, I already have.

You think I'm going to give out these secrets?! No, but my mentor did say to list a few of the ones considered weak and useless. So, I'm fairly good at camoflauge, hiding, and being as silent and careful as possible while being quick, and clever. As for weapons I have practice with a bow and arrow, but no it's not my ideal weapon.. an axe or knife is, and I'm practically an expert at using both. In 8, we have to be delicate and they send me and the young people to fetch materials from the woods. So I have been to the woods in snow or cold, rain or shine I've had to scale trees and collect all sorts of things. As for weakness, I have not much strength and have bad sense of direction and cannot handle heavy weapons like swords or tridents well.

History, simple. My mother works, my father works, and my two older brothers...well Rowan works. But Oaken, he's...lets backtrack a bit. My father used to hunt until I was born, then he had to find work to provide for us better. My oldest brother and the second oldest, Rowan and Oaken knew how to hunt and took up the task of it. Until Rowan outgrew the games and had to find work when he married this one girl-she's nice alright, but it meant Oaken had to hunt for me and our baby twin brother and sister and parents while working with me. This lead to me being alone alot, peacekeepers were suspious and one day he got a buck and came to show me it, and a peacekeeper came and with one my brother was gone. I taught myself to hunt, Im not nearly as good as my older brothers so each year since I've put in tesera and this year my name was in the drawing a whole 67 timed. A lot, and I fear if Im drawn how will my family survive? My baby brother and sister, Steel and Lilac, will starve and me being more of a tomboy loner type means I have no friends to look to, look to feed my family. Anyways, thats enough of that.

Yes, Im the district seven tribute, how? Easy, I had my name in seventy seven times, teserea you know. Cutting and logging trees doesn't always give the money to provide for a family, espeacially not when I have five younger siblings and one can hunt while mom gets headaches and cant work-and with dad gone Im head of the household. Without me I doubt my sister, Fallen who is eleven, could provide enough food without someone to work.

You dare ask of my love life? Ha, none there. Wait..you know about that? Fine, lets just say there's a girl back home I like and intend to marry once these games end, if I dont meet my end first.

Im tall, muscular from handling axes and climbing to rid of branches, blue eyes. And Im the only one in my family, but my hair grows lighter each year, its stayed this color for a couple of years but no one knows why. Um...well Im a male if you didnt guess already...thats it.

Strength is one thing I have, I can climb, but Im not the quickest to run but I scale trees with ease. I handle an axe or throwing knife best but never found I could use the sword well, two heavy and bulky. I need something light and sturdy then watch out. I have no fear to kill, but do it quickly not causing my target too much pain. I do oppose the idea of the capital and it will take more than most to get rid of me.

she laughed, throwing her head back and then leaned forward resting her head on my shoulder. i was the boy who fell hard for her. for her perfect smile, eyes. perfect everything. she was my universe. then the smile and laugh faded away.
