(Day-Gan)Daegan - Meaning black-haired - is literally what his man is named for. It's his most distinctive feature in both forms, when human it fans over his head in a Mohawk sort of style with short sides. And in wolf-form it runs from his back, between his shoulder blades, up his neck and inbetween his ears and contrasts greatly to his light grey and cream hues of thick matted fur. Matching his pale skin palette and foggy blue eyes. But he has another name
'Snap-Jaw'
Again, both of his forms hold a defect, as his jaw was broken when he was only about seven or eight (By his own father no less). It healed, but not as it should and now his jaw juts down on one side, in human form it's less noticeable until he talks, then one can see how his teeth don't quite match up. In his wolf form, it's more obvious, his tongue is shredded at the end a little, from where bone and teeth cut it, two fangs also protrude from his bottom lip, which means sometimes he drools without noticing. His inability to bite properly means he can't hunt like a werewolf of twenty three should be able to.
However, just because he drools doesn't mean he's stupid. Far from it. He's highly intelligent, very calculating and sneaky, but weak and bony. If he were human, he'd be socializing with nerds. Alas, he is not and uses his brains to know who to avoid and at what times. He can read other well and also hates it when he sees a woman crying. Not that it'd mean he would go waltzing up and petting them, he might get his arm ripped off and then what use would be be to the pack? He's also quite loyal and honorable, he has to be in order to take daily beatings from the pack. He is considered to be strange by the majority of pack members. And spends most of his nights awake, staring into the darkness or looking up at the stars, dreaming presumable. He also talks to himself, and has been heard shushing people who are not there. He is easily manipulated sometimes and very susceptible to kindness and smiles. He appreciates those things more than most, and will admit to a soft spot for the pack's healer, not a crush but... an eagerness to be around her. Oh! Didn't I mention? He's a bit of a creep.
He was the youngest of three back home, and the only one to take on the genes of his father's lycanthropy. This caused him, for whatever reason, to hate poor Daegan, and after years of what was abuse, it was his mother who chose to send him here. She knew he'd probably end up in the rank he is now, but it'd be safer than staying home and risking death. She wouldn't fight back, but would not idly stand by while her baby was killed. His snout bares the crisscrossing scars of teeth and claws, most of which belong to his father, some to the other members of the park.
