- Most people from the capitol were over the top, crazy, and amazingly outgoing. Their escort was no exception. Every time it seemed like she was going to pause for a second to allow for someone else to speak, she kept on speaking. Ariella caught a couple key tidbits of information though, like how her name was Coral Thou, the name of their mentor (Bara Tide) and something about how the would arrive in a couple hours. The words seemed to flow from her mouth like a waterfall, and pretty soon, Ariella had zoned out and was staring out the window at the forest. You could faintly see the blue glowing ocean, the sun reflecting off the surface like a flame. Longing filled the girls heart at the sight of the water, and Ariella would love nothing more than to escape from the train and jump into the cooling liquid. But no, she had chosen to come to the games. She would win, and eventually come back to her beautiful sea where she could spend all day spearing fish and relaxing in the warm waters.
The sound of Maverick trying to speak brought Ariella back to the train, her mind snapping back into a place where it should be; in the games. She couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at his sad attempt at cutting into the conversation, glad the mood was at least a little bit more light. It was time for Ariella to pull out the charm, and save the two of them from having their ears talked off. "Oh my goodness your dress!" Ariella said loudly, which caused Coral to pause for a second. She looked down at her dress frantically, thinking something was wrong with the bright fabric, before looking back at Ariella with wide eyes. Before she could open her mouth to begin the never ceasing flow of words, Ariella spoke up again. "Its absolutely gorgeous!" She gushed, softly touching the fabric on the arm. "My favorite part about being in the games has to be getting made over into the beautiful style of the capitol! I just hope my mentor and stylists are as talented as you are." Ariella finished, a genuine seeming smile on her face. Coral smiled, and Ariella braced herself for the flow of words that were surely going to follow. "How did I end up with the sweetest tributes in the bunch? Oh goodness, I bet all my friends are going to be so jealous of you two, I can't wait to chat with them!" Ariella let her go on for a second before the words she had been waiting for finally came out of Corals mouth. "I bet you're dying to go get your mentor! I'll be right back, let me find her!" A few more words were said as Coral walked into a different compartment, but finally the room seemed silent. "You're welcome." Ariella said to Maverick, a cocky smile on her face. Being a girl sure did come in handy. "But really, if we want to talk we only have a few seconds before Shiny comes back." Ariella said, gesturing to a door. It had to lead somewhere, and she wanted to be as far away from any capitol people as possible. The beginning of the games always seemed to bore her, and even though she was part of the action she couldn't't imagine how it would be any fun.
