Let's pretend that Katniss and Peeta never existed, or if you'd prefer it, that they were never reaped from district twelve. The capital is as strong as ever. The Hunger Games still occur every year. Children still die. Are you going to die?

Rules
1. Please face the fact right now... that your character will most likely die. Even my characters will probably die. Once these games have been won, we can start over.
2. Don't kill anyone without asking me and their owner.
3. No god modding. Your character may have talents, but they must also have flaws.
4. Not everyone needs to be in love. Please keep it to a minimum there; like I said only one of us is getting out.
5. You may have two characters, no more than that.
6. If someone has to drop out we will kill your character(s) off.
7. You may rebel, but remember the public probably doesn't care about you like they did for Katniss so the capital will most likely kill you.
8. No vulgarity, you should all know this.
9. No extreme cursing and not in every other sentence.
10. Be mature.
11. This is SEMI-LIT. Use big words, speak in full sentences, and BE DESCRIPTIVE. Give me at least a short paragraph a post.
12. All minor characters will be played by you when needed for your main character.
13. I don't want to seem like I'm too strict, but please follow the rules. State in your form somewhere that you've read them.

Character name: Gavin McArthur

Personality: Gavin is reclusive and always on guard. He had only one friend back home, and she's not even alive anymore. He's secretive and can come off as cold, but really only needs someone to ignore that and love him anyway. He saw no point in living with a father who didn't care he existed in a place he could never be happy; so he volunteered for the games. Though he gave up life in district 6, he isn't necessarily going to go out easily. Gavin is a very tough opponent, but proper judgment sometimes gets away from him. He is haunted by nightmares, but otherwise mentally sound and sharp-tongued. He may seem harsh to general observers, but he has the capacity to care for something a great deal.
Skills: great with long knives, good at arguing
Weaknesses: has poor anger management, doesn't sleep very often
Love interest: Try and get past his temper, and you've got a shot.

Personality: Waliyha is soft-spoken and observant. She rarely speaks but sees everything. She's graceful and quick on her feet, nearly silent. She is a thief. People in her district starve even though they grow the food, so she gives a little back. Children love her and she gets on better with people younger than her. Waliyha may seem innocent, but she is far from it. She's never been in the games before, though she isn't an inexperienced killer. Lets just say that getting caught is not on her agenda.

She is especially good at two types of weapon. The first of these is knife-throwing, which was the first thing she was trained to do, and loves the most, specifically favored are her older daggers, for they hold the world's history, she believes. Second is her archery skills. Rarely does she miss her target, her mark, since her father is so harsh if she does.
Physical Appearence;;
She is of moderate height, standing at about five foot six inches. She weighs only around one hundred and twenty pounds, perhaps a bit more. Her hair is naturally a very dark brown, nearly black, but is dyed bright, firetruck red. Her eyes are a dark, oceanic blue in color. Her skin tone is light, a bit pale, and she has a intricate rose tattoo on her right shoulder/upper back. She also has an owl tattoo in her middle back (Click)

One will never see her not wearing her favorite color,
red, at least somewhere on her body.
She loves lace, see-through, bead-work, ruffles, etc etc.
The only type of shoes that she wears are a form of combat boots,
all of the time, no matter what the occasion is.

feeling naked without some sort of it on her.
Bulky yet beautiful necklaces, bracelets, earrings, things like that.
One thing that she never takes off is a bat winged, red gem necklace,
for it had been her grandmother's, than her mother's, and now hers.

for to her, it is her very own good luck charm.

She can be seen as a very bright and curious young woman.
Of course, she does have her.. Moments.
She has a fiery temper that flares quickly, and often, for apparently no reason.
She is not afraid to get into a fight, in her heels and all.
She is not in the slightest bit afraid of blood, in fact, she believes that,
when she gets into a fight, the blood just disappears into her clothing,
due to her obsession with the color red.
She is very creative, especially when it comes to art, which is something she adores.
She does not think that she needs any allies to win the games,
for she is a strong and confident person. I suppose we shall see.

Her father was a very harsh man, always,
especially since her mother died giving birth to the girl.
He has always been extremely hard on her, training her everyday;
it was almost as if she were to be a career, the way she was trained.
Never did he show any compassion, any love, to his daughter,
instead he was cold and heartless; never was anything she did good enough.
Due to her being from the district of electronics,
when she learned about tattooing, in a 'black market' of sorts,
she fell in love. She got her owl first, so her father wouldn't see,
but soon decided she didn't care if he saw, and got her roses.
Her father acted as if they weren't even there, or maybe he just didn't notice.
Each and every year since she was twelve, he put her name in more and more,
in exchange for more tesserae, and this past year, her name was in the bowl 39 times.
It is no surprise that she was chosen, and her father, for once, seemed pleased.

Fighting, of any kind. Whether it be hand on hand combat, for he has quite a lot of physical strength in his muscular body, or anything relating to a weapon. His favorite has got to be an axe, for it is violent and painful.
Physical Appearence;;
Tall in stature, for he stands at over Six Foot, at about 6 foot 3 inches, he towers over most who come in contact with him. There is not a single ounce of fat on his body, everything is complete, hard muscle. His hair is medium-length, and is a dirty blonde in color. His eyes? Well they are a dark, emerald green color.

Cocky, and Arrogant are the best two words to describe him.
He is extremely skilled, as well as attractive, and he knows it.
He uses his natural talents to his advantage, to get what he wants.
He does not care who he has to push through, to hurt, to kill.
As long as he gets what he wants in the long run, he'll do anything.
He has girls falling for him left and right, not that he can commit well.
He goes through girls quickly, never sticking to one for long.
He has a bad temper, however, but is able to think well when in a haze,
unlike most, and that's when he is the most dangerous.

Born and raised in the District known for being luxurious,
all that Tyler has ever known is riches, and getting what he wants.
Growing up in a mansion, with two parents who do anything for you,
and no other siblings to get in the way, gets to someone.
He has been in training all of his life to be in the Games,
in one of the special career training facilities, that shouldn't exist.
He volunteered this year to be the male tribute from his district,
and he plans on winning, no matter what it takes.
