ender sighed seeing as lex wasn't calming down in the slightest. with one swift movement he tugged the boy into his arms and held him fast. "easy, you're getting paranoid on me. griffon wouldn't hurt you lex, even if he tried i'd step in." he murmured before giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. nothing ever really bothered ender, he took life head on and never stopped. it made it so much easier than to stand back and worry. slowly he released lex and did a full scale circle listening out for any sort of movement. "i don't hear anything, anyone, not a single thing but the chirping crickets." he stated laughing slightly and then paused. he'd heard leaves rustle but said nothing not wanting to scare lex further.

Matthew gave a sigh as Griffon ushered him out. He was hoping for a little more of a romantic parting but it was obvious Griffon was oblivious. He opened the Coke and walked the few blocks to the Diner. The building was old and grimy. The neon red sign that said open was blinking and the O was burnt out. Matthew walked in the bell giving a little ring. The place was a ghost town which wasnt a big shock. The only other person in the whole place was the cook Benito who was asleep in a cot in the kitchen. Matthew and him had a deal, Matt wouldnt come into work on the full moon days and they would act like they had opened the place but no one come in. Matt would let him sleep and leave early most days. They also used the fact Benito was from Mexico to their advantage. When the owner came with questions Benito acted like he couldnt speak English and Matt "translated" what ever lie would cover up their story. The owner was a 70 year old man with a beer gut that would put a pregnant lady to shame, he wasnt really asking questions. It was a pretty sweet set up. Matt laid down in one of the booths and laid an arm over his eyes hoping to sleep his shift away.

griffon heard the chuckle of his packmate and somebody else. Who was he? Griffon was coloured intrigued. He stepped closer, still sticking to the shadows. He had gotten to where they were a few feet away from them. He stepped into the light. It was shadowing him heavily, making him in the dark. "Well well well. Who do we have here?" His voice boomed in the quiet darkness. His accent laced his words. He stared at the boys. Falling in love? Possibly. "What are you doing here?" He asked them; getting closer with each step.

Alexander saw Griffon. He backed up a few steps, and he wanted to grab Ender's hand. But he didn't want to get him in trouble. Alexander stayed silent, staring in Griffon's eyes, and not speaking at all. Not answering his questions. Lex glanced at Ender. He was ready to protect him, but lex had a feeling he would need to protect himself. He clenched his hands into fists, and he let out a low growl escape his throat. The boy knew something terrible was going to happen. And now Lex knew to whom. Himself. He was going to be ripped to shreds.

the second ender heard movement he whirled to see griffon, and that was even before he spoke up. of course this sight never truly bothered him. but he knew very well it'd panic lex more than needed and a growl from him very much confirmed it. so without hesitation ender spoke up towards his alpha. "ah, thought i smelled dog." he joked slightly before letting his eyes flick to lex, a gaze that told him all that was needed, stay calm. "we're just walking around. you?" ender asked shoving his hands in his pockets. the fact that ender could look at griffon without a single bit of hesitation was insane. i mean ender trusted his alpha enough not to attack but it was all quite possible, and yet fear wasn't even close to what he felt. if anything he was calm, probably just a feeling he got because a wolf always feels safe around other pack members.

He rubbed the fluffy pups head as he set her bed down in the corner of the living room. Dakota then set her food and water bowls in the kitchen by the screen door. Looking at his work he went threw and turned off all the lights and electronics before taking the pup to the bathroom he filled up the tub and grabbed the coconut shampoo he'd bought for his dogs. Putting the puppy into the bath he washed her fur, making sure she smelled good before getting a towel and pulling her out. Dakota blow dried her and brushed out her fur before putting on her new collar and attaching a big pink bow to her. He smirked at his work before carrying her out to the car. Slipping her in the front he ran inside and grabbed his keys, wallet and cell phone. remembering what Matt had told him he headed to the boy's work. He took his time as he drove, letting the pup, who he decided he'd call Rain, get used to being in a car. As soon as he saw the little place he slowly pulled in and turned off the car lights. Scooping the pup into his arms he headed inside, a smirk on his face as he saw him in a booth, he leaned over and kissed his cheek, "Wake up sunshine." He snickered before hiding the pup behind his back. He knew it wasn't time for Matthew to get off; but he wanted him to see his new gift.

Matthew jumped when he felt something press against his cheeks. He gave a soft groan and moved his arm looking up with groggy eyes. He gave a sleepy smile when he saw Dakota. He sat up and gave a gasp when he saw Rain and gave an inhuman type coo. "Who are you sweetie pie?" He cooed and scooped her up, cradling her in his arms. He laughed happily when she licked his face, her little tail thumping against him. "She is adorable. Where did you get her?" He asked with a bright smile.
