Carl leaps down from his stand, nodding to another group member. "Daryl!" he calls from under another stand, the one from earlier. "There's someone new here who I think you want to meet. She had a knife and a rifle!" he calls, waiting for the group leader to come down so Carl could lead Daryl to the girl, Primrose.

xxxxxxxDaryl walked over to Carl and followed him as he lead him to a small girl. She looked young, too young for the apocalypse. The girl looked about twelve. "What's your name kid??" Daryl said a bit of annoyance and rudeness in his voice. The last thing they needed was another mouth to feed. Daryl looked up at Charlie who was with the girl. Not only was he interrupted while trying to finish the deer, now the deer would be used up faster. Daryl wondered if the girl had it in her to even kill a walker. His hair was all wet with sweat and his hands were bloody, he really didn't look the leader type and the moment, and slightly wondered what the little girl was thinking. For one thing, he was wondering how in the heck she found them. She must have been a true survivor to find them way out there.

Carl almost knew what he was thinking, "She said she was coming from the city. Found us when she heard us or smelled food or something." he murmurs, not surprised he had bloody hands. "Need me to find more food and hunt?" He asks, though he was terrible at hunting. "Oh and me and Charlie are heading to the mall to find some more things- blankets, food, ya know. Need anything?" The young teenager asks, switching feet, from his left to his right.

Alarm rose in his throat when Carl told of how the girl got there, if she could smell food or something...then could the walkers? He would have to remember to try and cook only when it's not windy. When Carl brought up that him and Charlie were going to the mall Daryl smiled. "You sly dog." He laughed but then got serious. "You guys are not going alone. You," he pointed at Prim, "Go with them, prove that you are worthy and then you can stay. Also take one or two more people." Daryl did not want anyone getting hurt, but it was something that was almost inevitable. If someone got hurt and there were more people out there, then there were better chances that they would live.

Carl nods, kind of upset him and Charlie couldn't go alone. "'Course." He says, glancing at Charlie quickly. He didn't like her... she was too old- a fifteen year old and an eighteen year old? That sounded weird. Carl was never the best at math, but he knew they were a little more than three years apart- and plus. She was an adult and he was just a kid. He thought of Daryl as his father, so he would have to ask him later.
