A delicate, seventeen year-old girl with a shock of long, white-blonde hair as well as pale skin with just a hint of bronze, Nicole looks extremely delicate, almost like she's easy to break. A bit slow to utter her opinions and thoughts, Nicole is quite shy, and tends to hide behind Lucian. A very mellow person, Nicole is extremely calm and level-headed, always one to think before she acts, which makes a lot of people think that she's shallow. A very compassionate and caring person, Nicole finds it slightly hard to express her feelings, leaving her crying alone. Slightly dependent on Lucian, Nicole has a stammer that doesn't seem to go away easily. An avid musician, Nicole finds it easier to express herself through music, and hates anything too harsh or abrasive, preferring mellow and soothing things and sounds. Nicole doesn't especially like Winter, mostly because their personalities clash and Nicole is slightly afraid of Winter's abrasive and crude personality. Nicole is okay with everyone else, but is a bit distant from the other boys, because of Lucian's overprotective personality. A very artistic person as well, Nicole can spend hours at a time alone and either drawing, reading, or making music. A secret of Nicole's? She is horrified of small spaces; in other words, Nicole has severe claustrophobia. Prone to panic attacks, Nicole is extremely introverted, and because of how insecure she is, Nicole only performs her talents alone, sometimes with Lucian. A hydrokinetic, Nicole can control most types of water, and has the barest trace of influence over ice; this practically just makes it so that Nicole doesn't get cold, and that's it. Fond of creating water sculptures, then putting them in the freezer, Nicole does not have the best stamina and can tire out extremely easily. She usually has a small water sphere, about the shape and size of a coin, that she likes to twirl throughout her fingers, especially when she's in thought. Loving the color powder blue, Nicole often wears something casual and simple tinged with that exact color.
Lucian Blaylock{ Dapplespring }19 | Male | Pyrokinesis | Dark, Volatile, Possessive | Dating NicoleEverything about Lucian is dark, from his hair to his eyes to his personality and even to his outlook on life. It's a curious thing indeed that he adores Nicole, who is almost a polar opposite. Lucian at the best of times is sincere and blunt, always stating what's on his mind and not truly caring about whether it hurts other's feelings or not. He protects what he considers to be his, and is loyal to the death. He keeps his mouth shut in most situations so that when he speaks, people tend to listen. His presence in a room is overwhelming, and his good looks usually draw quite some attention. Lucian is a hard-worker and doesn't believe in the importance of material possessions. He does not get along with Jay Reed or Lucy DiFurio. He finds Jay to be a liar--something that he does not tolerate on any level. Lucy is too much of an opposite of him for him to get along with, and he can't stand to be around people who are always talking or always happy. Lucian is a down-to-earth, realistic man with a set code of morals that he will never break. He gets along very well with Kaden Brooks and, of course, Nicole Goodwin. Lucian's special power pyrokinesis, or the control of fire. It's a very dangerous skill to have, and if not mastered then Lucian will end up hurting himself with it every time. His body has many burn marks from his past mistakes, and his attitude toward possessing this power is that of solemnity and resentment. He has no secrets. He does not consider himself to be 'lucky' and despises having to be at the academy. Lucian has an extremely short-fused temper, and the more he is around a large number of people, the more irritable he is. On a last note, he is very possessive and easily jealous. In other words, don't talk to Nicole.
Serenity Lightwood{ Speak }

She's always walking the on the narrow line between adventure and pure recklessness. Serenity lives for adventure, whether it be the kind that finds her on top of a mountain or the kind that finds her plummeting towards the deep blue. You ask her if she's up for it and her reply would be an almost immediate yes. It isn't so much that she's reckless it's more that she an insatiable curiosity that can sometimes over ride her sense of reason and safety. One of her lesser known traits is her ability to observe the world around her, even when she's exploring the world around her Serenity can't help but notice the little things about places and people. What she notices she mostly doesn't say and the only person she shares them with is her boyfriend Luke. Serenity doesn't like Lucian or Jay; Lucian for starters gives Serenity the creeps, from what she's observed Serenity has avoided talking to not only him but Nicole as well despite what she's observed of her. Serenity can't stand the way Jay manipulates people and how he deceives them, it's a part of her principles to dislike him.

But also a monster that can snap in a moment. Luke is a very protective and wise boy. He tends to be very serious when he needs to, and giving that he also has animal instincts, he will be very protective over the ones he cares for. Most of the time, he is a very happy go lucky boy, while other time's he can be as quiet as a mouse. But get him angry, he can snap and phase. He can get along with almost everybody, except Kaden, Lucian and or Jay. He seems to find their ways a bit odd. He, on the other hand, will go to any amount to ensure that everyone is happy. Guess he might be mans best friend.

She'll even go so far as to let an 'enemy' cheat off of her test to get an A as she is very smart. However, despite this, she is very naive and easily manipulated. She sees good in everyone and believes everyone can have a change of heart to be good. She forgives easily and doesn't hold grudges. If someone 'appears' to be having a change of heart, she'll forgive what they did to her. She doesn't dislike or hate anyone and even if someone is getting on her nerves she doesn't say no. She's not very assertive and also prefers the background in many social scenes. She's shy, making her a cautious person and a big thinker, but can be very sociable if approached. Open and modest, she doesn't like the spotlight on her. She can, sometimes, avoid certain people because one can't help if someone feels nervous or antsy around someone but she won't tell them to back off if they approach her. She can easily become depressed but her boyfriend, Layton, always has the right way to cheer her up. She loves him fully because he's always there for her and understands her the most. If someone were to tell her to do something wrong though, she would find every excuse to say no without actually saying it. She doesn't like to disappoint people and make them sad or angry with her. She is also a lover of nature, animals, and art and enjoys talking about these things the most as well as creating art. She enjoys learning but she doesn't really like her ability because what she's feeling can sometimes be transferred to those around her, considering her control of emotions. However, she does try to control it, deciding to live with it and be optimistic about it. Whenever a situation seems bad, she does her best to up the moral of those around her. She could be a good leader if she wanted to be, but she prefers to follow than lead. Her one thing she is afraid of is heights. She has a severe phobia of heights unless she's secured from falling. This makes her unafraid of traveling in a passenger jet but afraid of great heights, even if there's a railing.

He is a very extroverted person and has a very wide social circle. He enjoys making new friends and likes hanging out with them even more. He is a fun and outgoing boy who loves to laugh. He has a melodious laugh and is heard almost all the time. His hobby is cracking jokes and he's an expert at making people laugh. Layton doesn't care if he makes a fool of himself, as long as he makes someone happy, he's happy too. Whenever he sees someone down or affected by something, he will always be there to cheer the person up. Layton is a very sweet boy. He will do almost anything for anyone, and he gives freely of himself. He never thinks twice to help someone in need and he never expects anything in return. He is constantly putting people before himself, and while that can be a good quality of his, it can also he a disadvantage. Sincerity is one of Layton's strong points, as he does things out of his genuine feelings. He isn't plastic or fake, and a lot the things he says and does really comes from his heart. However, he isn't brutally honest. He will find something nice to say all the time, without lying, and it will come from his heart. Layton is good and upright, and never abandons his morals unless he absolutely has to. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and follows the moral compass in him to do what he thinks is the best. He is trustworthy, and can be counted on to keep a secret. He loves Lucy with all his heart, and he considers Luke one of his close friends. Generally, he likes everyone, but Kaden and Winter tend to get on his nerves sometimes.

She may be have an abusive personality, but it does tend to make people stronger in ways. Winter may be cold person, but she does melt in Jay's arms. She doesn't really like Nicole, finding the girl's personality to be too sweet for her liking. And she especially dislikes Luna, finding her happiness and peacefulness to annoy her. But she does get along with Jay, Lucian, Serenity and sometimes Luke.

If she sees someone in help, she's there trying to save the day. Luna does not always use her head when it comes to some situations, and comes across very flirty. While she doesn't mean to, some mistake her for cheating on her boyfriend, Kaden. They don't know how wrong they are, though, for she carries with her a grave secret. She's pregnant. With a newfound protective instinct, she's more on edge than ever...especially entering the academy where they will push her to her limit. Luna lacks the courage to tell Kaden, though. She is a peace-oriented spirit, and avoids conflict like it's the plague. She is the calming side of her relationship, and keeps anybody she's around well-grounded. Luna has her blonde moments, forgetting important details in the midst of her excitement about something else. She had a short attention span, except when it comes to people she is close with. She gets along beautifully with Lucy DiFurio and Kaden Brooks (obviously). She dislikes being around Winter Zanders and Lucian Blaylock.

19 | Male | Extreme Combat | Aggressive, Skeptical, Rational | Dating Luna[center]Meet Kaden Brooks. With a fiery personality and an even hotter temper, Kaden is what you would call... Explosive. Not unpredictable, but still extremely destructive. Even though he has the calmest expressions around when he's silent, almost anything can set him off, from a disagreement to a fit he lost a week ago. Prone to fits of anger, there are quite a few mended holes in his room; usually, only Luna can calm him down, and sometimes Luke... Once he's shaken off the murderous haze. Also extremely prickly and stubborn, Kaden seems put off by everything, always testing something to see if it's true, never truly believing until he can see it with his own eyes. This makes him extremely hard to budge, with a rock-solid resolve; he'd do just fine as a police officer. However, despite his extremely distant and slightly arrogant attitude, you can always expect Kaden to be the voice of reason, pointing out risks and deciding factors just so; this way, no one get's hurt, and nothing goes wrong. At least, that's what he hopes. His power is the power of extreme combat; in other words, a combat kinetic. There are theories that this unusual power is the thing fueling his temper, but no one really knows. This enhances his strength and agility, especially under times of stress and adrenaline-induced situations; it makes him stronger than the average human, and more capable at acrobatic feats. Strangely, it does nothing to increase or otherwise enhance his speed, something he's really ticked about. Kaden here does not get along with Layton -most likely because Kaden hates the fact that Layton has speed and he doesn't. He is especially compatible with Lucian; however, putting them together in one room is like setting two ticking bombs next to each other and hoping that one doesn't trigger the other. Kaden obviously gets along with Luna, but otherwise isn't especially female-oriented.
