Welcome to my life wrote:Hello there, my name is Eliora meaning "my God is light", but ever since I fell from heaven I just go by Elle now. Most of my friends don't know my real name, or my secret. They think I'm just a normal 19 year old girl, moved out of the house and living on her own to get a taste of independence. The truth is I got kicked out of "the house" a long time before that, about 200 years ago to be exact. I was on an assignment to be a guardian angel (yep we actually are real) but I ended up falling in love with a human which is strictly forbidden. Of course I tried to keep my secret for as long as I could, but there really aren't many secrets in the supernatural world, so I was found out. As punishment not only was I banned from heaven, but my wings were taken from me as well. I still hold "angelic" powers though, but I only use them when I have to. Living like a "mortal" for a couple hundred years has made me very comfortable in their world, so I don't like anybody knowing my secret. I tried to tell someone once, but I ended up having to leave my "best friend" behind because she started treating my like a freak. The truth is there are freaks out there, but I'm not the kind you should be worried about. You see demons are real too, and that's why I'm here: to protect you. Though I may not have wings I still hold a lot of power. I am well trained with a bow and arrow, and always carry around a dagger for protection. Previously being a guardian angel has given me a knack for pinpointing those in danger - usually being stalked by demons. However my job's gotten a lot busier lately as the world hangs on the edge of a supernatural war. Only the the toughest of us will survive, but I'm not sure I'll make it.

Lucian Alexander Black ; Single ; Elder Demon ; Telepath, Fly, Pyrokinesis, Shapeshifter ; Tags: --
His eyes were the color of a soulless night, one with no moon, no stars...no light. His movements were swift and fluid as he skimmed through the city streets, his silhouette but a mere flicker of a shadow to the mortal eye. To the supernatural eye, though, he was a beautiful man with a treacherous heart. Lucian stopped in front of a dimly lit bar. It was his favorite destination to go to when he stopped in town. It was sort of his guilty pleasure, you could say. As he strode through the entrance, the pungent smell of body odor, smoke, and alcohol bombarded his senses. The disorientedly bright and spastic lights made him wince, and the volume of all the clanking, screaming, bass music, and laughter was so overbearing and excessive that he could already feel a headache coming on. Just how he liked it. When you lived for as long as Lucian had, you learn to appreciate to sensation of being blind, of not having to constantly watch your own back or watch out for somebody's whom he had no sympathy toward. He waltzed up to the bar, the woman in front of him moving off of her bar stool before he even made it over there. She bowed nervously to him--a human that understood demonic presences--and quickly left. He nodded at the bartender, and the man immediately jumped to action getting Lucian what he wanted.

Natalia giggled internally as she spread apart her wings. Finally, we're free! they seemed to cheer as they creaked and popped from weeks of no use. The sun was already beginning to set, and she was planning on flying to town and already be there by now. Sighing, she ran her slender fingers through her long, curly blonde hair. Launching herself from the ground, her wings caught the first gust of air and she was soon pumping her wings over and over until she was transcending up into the clouds. She smiled as the familiar feeling of freedom, adrenaline, and serenity washed over her.
