Abby waited for the broom to come. Anxiety rose in her throat as they waited even longer. Her hand drew to her pocket that her wand was in, to try and use the Summoning Charm. But there was a whistling of wind, and the broom landed beside Riker. The blind girl climbed on, and Abby helped prop up the boy on the broom. The girl told her to meet her in the infirmary, and she speed off through the castle doors. Abby raced after her, the tail end of her broom disappearing up the stairs. She followed, bag swinging, and out of breath. Finally she reached the right level, and ran through the corridor to the infirmary. She waited for Riker to show, but she assumed that she was already talking to the Healer. Abby pushed open the infirmary doors, and seeing that no one was inside, she sat on a bed, not sure of what to do now.

Apollo made a little groan, pressing his cheek against Riker's back. "Riker?" He asked in a sort of strained voice, opening his blue eyes. He jumped slightly in surprise, but not enough to affect her flying. "Rike-- What the hell are you doing? Why am I on your broom?" He coughed, and put his arms around her waist so he didn't fall."I feel awful..." He did have a few cuts here and there, but nothing major. Still, it probably added in to how bad he felt.

Cyrus nodded. "Crying just gets me more taunting from Conner." He smiled down at his hands, watching Dusty walk in between them. He laughed rather cheerfully at her chocolate comment. "Yeah. Chocolate is nice. I forgot how much I miss little pleasures like that. You know?" He gave her a half smile, pushing up his glasses as he stood. "We should go together while at Hogsmaede and look through the candy store." Cyrus, if nothing else, was glad to have Ashleigh as a friend. "Heh. And maybe even Weasley's Wizard Wheezes." The twins (or more, Ron and George, considering Fred's... circumstances) had branched out to more stores; one of which, was located strategically at Hogsmaede, much to every teacher's dismay.

Riker had no need to look behind her. She used one hand to open the infirmary doors, and slowed down. "Yes, your on my broom. Its okay." she whispered to Apollo. She jumped off her broom, and got hold of Apollo's back with one hand and his stomache with the other. "Here- just balance." she whispered to him, waiting.

Ashleigh's eyes filled with pure joy as Cyrus mentioned a trip to the candy store. The blonde absolutely loved candy, and had an everlasting craving for anything sweet. "I would love that!" Ashleigh exclaimed, standing up a little too fast. She tripped over her own feet, falling forward onto the ground. For a second, Ash lay there, her body convulsing with inaudible laughter. After a few moments, she sat up on her bottom, rosy red cheeks flexed in a smile. "I'm so graceful, aren't I?" she asked sarcastically.

Athena sat still, her eyes wandering the room, bored, but nervous. She sighed as she tapped her fingers against her jeans as she wondered what homework she'd get in the first week, whether she bought enough notebooks, and whether she had enough ink for her pens. She sighed again. She was tired and full, and just wanted to sleep. She had been in France over the summer and was still adjusting to England's timezone. Yawning extravagantly, her eyes wandered around the room again, searching for something to do. Not finding anything, she watched at Snowflake climbed up onto her lap. She reached a hand out to pet the kitten, earning a sleepy purr in return. Smiling slightly, she pet the kitten.

Apollo wasn't easy on his feet, but he tried to maintain his balance. It was only a moment before the healer came prancing from the infirmary, about to close it up. As she looked up at the two, she gasped. "Good heavens! What happened? Come dear boy, you'll catch cold! Why are you soaked?!" She grabbed Apollo's shoulders. He seemed wary to say anything about being out in the Forbidden forest... They'd surely get points docked for Gryffindor.

"Indeed you are." Cyrus laughed as well, standing up and offering her his hand. "Need help?" He asked. He felt as if he'd have to do something about those burn scars on his hands later, now that he'd realized how apparent they actually were. Perhaps he'd ask for bandages from the infirmary. The fact that Conner even knew about his mother's death always puzzled him, though. Cyrus had never told a soul besides Ashleigh. Then again, to his knowledge, Conner's father was fairly high up in the ministry. He'd probably be aware of such affairs if nobody else.

Riker helped him off her broom, and stood him on his feet. "I will explain later, right now, we need to get him warm." she said, and put one of his arms over her shoulder. She was'nt the strongest person out there, but she could help.

Ash giggled one last time before taking Cyrus' hand and lifting herself up. She was clumsy a lot of the time, but enjoyed making fun of her situation rather than beating herself up for it. "Thank you much," she said before dropping the boy's scar riddled hand. It came across to her that perhaps her friend felt insecure about his scars, and she didn't blame him one bit. She looked around the fire-lit common room for a second, realizing that she was confused. "What are we doing?" she asked curiously.

"Oh dear..." She took Apollo and hurried into the infirmary, laying him on a bed and tending to him. "You can head back to your common room, dear. I'll tend to his wounds." She nodded as she hurried around the room.

Cyrus looked around, as if thinking. "Hm." He rubbed his cheek softly, pouting. "Hm... We could, uh... Maybe we could just take a walk around the castle." He shrugged, biting his bottom lip. "Maybe?"

Riker silently followed, and took Apollo's hand. "I'll see you in the common room." she whispered, and let go. She walked slowly away. "She said to go back to our common rooms. Thanks for helping." she said, passing Abby. Riker grabbed her firebolt and headed to the common room. "Pig snout." she said, and the portrait swung open as she sat down infront of the fire, holding her face in her hands. It was all my fault. Those words rung in her head.
