Lauren Jane Walker is a friendly and bubbly person. She likes to talk, read, and write. But her favorite thing is to drink hot chocolate and watch movies with a friend. Her favorite animal is dogs, which is why she volunteered to be a part of this adventure. Lauren likes to travel; meet new people and places. Her favorite color is either white or light blue. She likes to dress in dressy clothes, not casual. Her regular weekend outfit is a pair of jeans and sweatshirt though. She likes to decorate and scrapbook, pretty much designing stuff and making it her own. She uses her creativity to draw, write, and do photography, in fact, her dream job was to be a photographer, and she brought her camera to the campus with her. Lauren isn't the sit and watch type of girl, and likes to get out and do things. Shopping, taking car rides, and playing in the snow are more enjoyments. (Even though playing in the snow sounds childish; she has a lot of energy.)

Lauren was born into a family of three. She has two older sisters who are twins. In school, she was always compared to them. They were smart, and got good grades. The only grades Lauren got A's in were science and art classes. She recently graduated, and wanted to move onto college, until she heard about this 'competition'. The prize was a whopping ten thousand dollars, and involved her favorite creature on the whole earth: dogs! She begged her parents, and after some arguments, they reluctantly obliged. Lauren packed her bags and moved from her large house in North Dakota, to Alaska and the little dorms. She can't wait to meet her roommates, and decorate her room. Some scenic photos of Alaska would be nice too. She's been to every state but Maine, Georgia, Florida, New Mexico, and Massachusetts. Her goal is to take pictures of every state and put them into a scrapbook.

Lauren's puppy is pup number one. She's always wanted to name a dog Marley, so that's what her puppy's name will be when she meets her. It doesn't matter what breed or gender dog it is, Lauren will love her anyway. Marley is said to have high energy and playfulness. That's just what Lauren is looking for in a dog, because she doesn't want to adopt a couch potato.

alice is a bright, peppy girl who's very sweet and polite. she's enthusiastic, and always up for something complex or challenging. she enjoys writing, and keeps a journal to fill with her new experiences as she goes new places and meets new people. she's hardworking and reliable, always able to be counted upon. she may appear ditzy and childish at times, and at others she's the most mature person you'll ever meet.

alice was born in venice to mary james and johann gottfried february second, 1995. her mother was american and father french, and she inherited neither surname. she was named after the author alice munro, a woman her mother idolised. she is the sixth child of six children, each sibling only a year apart. she and all her siblings had only attended private catholic their entire lives. she does speak fluent french and english, because every summer and winter she and her family would go to america to see their grandmama in utah. after graduating, alice decided to do something. she wanted to go to a university in the states, but didn't have the funds. she didn't quite have the heart to ask her parents, so she looked around. when she heard of this offer, she practically jumped at the chance. so, after having a deliberation with her parents, she went off.

puppy

alice has puppy number three. she decided to name it inuit, because it reminds her of snow and is the name of an alaskan indigenous group. it really doesn't matter the gender, as she'll try her best to make it become an amazing rescue dog. she heard that it enjoyed playing the snow, though it is a *tad* lazy. that works fine for her though, as she enjoys challenges.
