Kaden crawled in the back, her brother following. She put her backback on the floor board, relaxing her small body against the side of the car. She blinked, looking to her brother, then Colt. "Have you heard from Grandma?" She asked, speaking quite fast, but only because he brother actually got what she was saying. "No, unfortunantly, she is quite mad at me lately." Kyle responded. Eli blinked a few times and took a step back surprised by how tall Vic was. "Sure, it's better than waiting out here." he said, pulling out his phone and sent a text to Damian saying he found someone to hang out with. He turned his body and started to walk back towards the building but stopped to wait for Vic. His attention was pulled away for a second when he saw Damian leaving.Most likely to get food. and with that thought he threw him a friendly smile then turned back to Vic.

Damian had to process the text a few times when he read it. Already Eli had made a friend and it made him happy. He pushed his phone back into his pocket, stopped by his locker to throw his stuff in it then walked to his truck. When he exited the building he spotted Eli and another boy. Must be his new friend. he thought before wandering to his truck and climbing in the cab. He stuck the keys in the ignition, started his truck then pulled away from the school with a sigh of relief.
