She was a pretty girl. Cyrus recognized her as a seventh year, Gryffindor. He was always good with remembering who people were. They often left an impression on him, even if he had never met them before. The boys in his year had often talked about her when she passed by in the halls. Cyrus figured she had many suitors, after all she was gorgeous, it was plain to see right now. Not that he really cared, but he put two and two together. The people other people talked about were always the most interesting kinds. He wondered if this girl was any different.

"Oh! Of course. Have a seat." He smiled, then turned his attention to Garrett. Acapella was rather aggressive, especially to humans, but she was maintaining her temper right now. The fluffy tailed kneazle never took her eyes off Garrett. Instead, she watched him closely, tail especially poofed up. Cyrus laid his hand gently over her head, stroking her fur in a comforting manner to keep her under control and so he would be quicker to grab her if things were to go wrong. She was a very intelligent kneazle. However, she was very protective, too, which made her claw or bite at people or animals she didn't trust being around Cyrus. Sometimes, this was his own mother. She often complained about it and would yell at her and wonder why she ever even bought a kneazle. She also sometimes told her to get a job, which, Cyrus always laughed at. His mother was a lovely person when she... well... wasn't angry.

Cyrus remembered this girl well. Her year, her house. But he couldn't quite remember her name. In fact, he never learned it. People were too busy gawking over her to even remember it themselves. "So... you're a seventh year Gryffindor, right?" He asked, deciding it better to pull Acapella into his lap. He wanted to make sure his memory proved true. "What's your name?" Ack, this girl also made Cyrus feel short. Who didn't, though, besides the first years? He sighed then put on a small smile. "He's a very nice cat."

His kindness was obviously noted even at first glance, the boy had an air of thoughtfulness and peace that made Juno feel more at ease for she really did not feel like talking back..especially to fifth years. She gave him a relieved sort of casual smirk before replying,
"Correct, my name's Juno." the seventh year replied. She would have given him her last name but after a few misshapes after introducing herself to people that recognized her surname from advertisements of her relatives dancing in a field of roses to portray the fragrance of a new shampoo or some other cosmetic, Juno learned that her given name would be adequate.
She leaned back in her seat, and as if it were a signal, Garrett gracefully crawled up to her lap and settled there with his head on his paws and his brick colored orbs flashing unblinkingly towards Cyrus' own protective looking pet. Juno performed the instinctive stroking upon the back of the ginger cat's soft ears with her lean and slender fingers, she heard his deep purring almost immediately but her gaze did not leave the Hufflpuff. She smiled at his remark towards Garrett,
"Thank you, I might say the same about yours if she wasn't giving us the evil eye," Juno said playfully with a small chuckle. Cyrus' cat was very provoking though, Juno didn't mind as long as it didn't cause any ruckus, but she was a strange creature. Juno had gathered enough curiosity about the animal until she finally raised her face up again to Cyrus' to ask if his cat really was a cat, however she heard the sliding door to the compartment open. Juno gave the girl a weary look before drawing her legs up into a native American style, Garrett was a little upset with the new arrangement but he fixed himself again into a fluffy ginger ball. The new arrival to the compartment seemed a bit 'hopeful' meaning that she may want to spark up some form of drawling conversation. Introductions were okay, arguing on Quidditch was even better, and maybe a good discussion on the Dark Lord's defeat would make the time in the train pass by faster. This is why she liked the look of Cyrus, he was calm but indulging in a way that wasn't annoying, hopefully, this new, 'hopeful' girl was the same.
Juno turned back to Cyrus, tucking a stray black strand behind an ear before resuming petting Garrett,
"I'm guessing you are a Hufflepuff," she said softly with a more attentive smile. She was giving this boy a chance of becoming an acquaintance, fifth year or not, Juno's attention was hard to catch.

"Oh don't worry, she's a good kneazle, just a little protective. As long as you don't do anything she finds... "questionable" she won't hurt you." Cyrus gave her a peaceful smile, voice soft and welcoming. It was when the new girl arrived that he immediately recognized her. They'd been by one another in DADA a few times and would chatter about various things. Cyrus didn't fancy DADA, but sometimes if he was talking to someone else it made things better. Even if that chatter resulted in scolding. Hey, he couldn't always be perfectly behaved.

Cyrus also gave her a smile, scooting to the corner by the window and pulling his legs onto the seat. Acapella, not wanting to be squished, jumped from his lap and instead sat on the floor. Cyrus easily pulled his knees to his chest and fit in the corner nicely. FOr some reason, it made him feel secure. He didn't want to be rude by taking up most of the bench if she decided to sit with him. He wasn't very good in large groups of people, and more than one person to talk with stressed him out a bit, but he was fine for now. Acapella seemed more stressed than he was, eyeing Maggie suspiciously. "Don't you dare," Cyrus whispered in a more stern, firm tone, which made Acapella lie down but she didn't take her eyes off the other pets.

"Absolutely, Catherine. Got all your assignments done for the break?" He asked, running a hand through his ginger hair. He always, even himself, found it strange he had ginger hair. But his father was mixed, too, European and Japanese, and his mother was Scottish, so somehow... Ginger. It still never made much sense to him. "It's a damn wonder I was able to... It's like they're sending home more than usual. I guess we are getting older..." He lingered on the sentence for a while before turning back to Juno.

He giggled a little. "Of course. You think anyone as small and weak as me could be a brave Gryffindor, a cunning Slyterin, or a smart Ravenclaw?" He moved an annoying part of his bangs out of the way, blue eyes scanning the station outside. "I'm surprised I even made it to Hufflepuff... I was thinking the sorting had would tell me I was a mistake and not a wizard at all." Cyrus was very insecure about himself. The bullying from other students didn't help matters. A now, sort of sad look had come over his face, but he also seemed to be thinking about something. "And Mum thought I'd be a Ravenclaw! Make sense of that, would you." He laughed at this, though he didn't seem happy. He did put on a smile after. "Catherine here is also a Hufflepuff!"

Even when excited his voice was pleasant, slow and smooth, nice to listen to. He didn't often raise it from it's quiet, soft tone. Even with his Scottish accent (which he hated very much) it still seemed to flow just right to make it relaxing, maybe a bit childish though. Often times he'd sing Acapella to sleep or sing to soothe her from attacking people. Gentle tones got her to calm down more than harsh ones. He was just generally peaceful, and really didn't know he possessed this quality. His father had a tone of voice in a similar way, though, he'd learned English in the Americas, so his accent was more... well... American! It was an odd family, really. Cyrus couldn't even explain his family to anyone without it sounding odd.

sixth-year;; gryffindor;; tagged-midna

Bella shoveled some cereal down her mouth, as she read the Daily Prophet for today. Nothing new. No letters from friends all summer. Typical. This sixth year never made any great friends since starting at Hogwarts when she was 11. But she didn't mind. She had her books, Quidditch, and homework to do. Folding up the article, she tossed her bowl into the sink and pounded up the stairs to the second floor. Her loaded trunk sat propped open on her bed; quills, books, and robes all piled inside. Each crisp uniform had been ironed to perfection the night before. Bella liked to appear educated and ready for class. Her shoulder bag lay beside her trunk, a few pens, quills, and pencils scattered inside with notebooks and some 'light reading' books. She crossed the room to this bag, and placed her wand delicately in the front-most pocket.

A light rapping at the window caused her to jump slightly before sighing and muttering.
"Bloody bird. Nearly gave me a heart attack! No matter, no matter," she cooed as her snowy Holly jumped onto her wrist. "In you go." Reluctantly, the snowy abided and was placed into her cage. Bella latched the window and door to the cage, and placed her beside her trunk and bag. She closed her trunk, (with some effort), and clasped it shut. She closed the flap over her bag and slung it over her head so it rested across her body. She pulled her trunk off of the bed, and hauled it down the stairs. Then, puffing, she grabbed her Firebolt and Holly, and jumped down to the first floor again. Her mother stood ready there this time, and she pulled the door open, and wheeled her trunk out the door.

Bella followed after locking the door and leaving a note for her father who was at work. They drove to the station, crossed through the barrier at precisely five 'till eleven, and said their goodbyes before Bella climbed aboard the gleaming Hogwarts Express. It belched smoke and screeched it's horn, raring to go. She waved out the window to her mother, and watched her retreating back leave the station. Now, she had to do the hardest part. Find a compartment. Bella trodded the halls, broom under one arm and propped on her bag, and owl under the other arm that pulled her trunk.

With no luck, she finally found a compartment with one person in it. It was a scowling girl, who didn't look very friendly. Bella shrugged and pulled the door open a crack.
"May I sit?" she asked as politely as she could. With any luck, she might just get a quiet ride to Hogwarts for once, to read and write. She still had an essay due that she'd put off about werewolves, but she could have it finished in twenty minutes easily. It was only six inches. Coming back to the present, she smiled hopefully at the girl and shifted her heavy bag digging into her shoulder.

(Are we having Quidditch try-outs, or are we automatically on the team? I had Gryffindor Seeker for Bella on her form. c;)

on train

Juno listened to Cyrus while she stroked Garrett and turned her face to watch platform 9 and three quarters bustling along with witches and wizards, students were still pilling up into the train and the girl suddenly wanted to leave the station and arrive at Hogwarts. The memories of walking around during a snowy day in Hogsmeade with loads of candy or maybe even some other type of merchandise, reading in the library when no one else was there and also occupying the best armchair in the Common Room while sitting in front of the fire place. The longer Juno remembered, the bigger her wanting to leave grew, so she gave a quiet sigh and focused a bit more on what the fifth year Hufflepuff was saying.
She had muted out Cyrus for a bit while she replayed scenes of Hogwarts, and did not answer his softly spoken remarks but only with a slight nod of her head, (she let a small smile creep across her lips when her suspicions were correct about Acapella though) Juno hadn't many true friends the past years, her first year at Hogwarts was not as eventful as the next ones because her appearance had developed and beautified. But Juno did not care, she had gotten used to being used by people she thought she had a bit of trust in, but now that she was seventeen and had matured up to the point where her loyalties only lied with her cat, Juno realized that friends were overrated.
The ginger cat finally got enough of the stroking,he shook out his lovely head before sitting up and turning his gaze to the kneazle, Garrett had always known from the first smell of Acapella that she was not a fellow of his species. He gave a small twitch of his pale whiskers and his long furred ginger tail glazed smoothly along Juno's thigh as he watched the kneazle with a measured interest. Instinctively, he knew that females should be treated with respect, kneazle or not, Garrett let out a low sounding mew to Acapella, stating clearly in his luxurious cat voice that he meant no harm to her owner.

      - as well for Juno, I said in her form that she was keeper chaser and captain if that's okay.

eye color: grey
hair color/ style: blonde, very curly
age: fourteen
house: slytherin
Quiddich position: seeker
blood status: half-blood
build: tall and thin with long limbs, not very feminine.
Name:
Shelly M. Robinson
Gender:
Girl. Duh.
Pet:
Shelly owns a small black rat she calls "Colonel".
Patronus:
Striped dolphin. However, she has never cast an expecto patronus charm powerful enough to be able to figure exactly what it is: as far she knows, it could be a fish.
Wand:
Nine inches, willow. Dragon heart string. Very long and bendable.
Personality:
Shelly is an enormously complex person. Like the overlaying patterns on the skin of her patronus, the striped dolphin, many aspects of her personality overlay and affect each other, forming into a very distinct, hard to understand sort of girl. If there is one that got her into Slytherin, it is ambition, though she is also quite determined, and pretty cunning. She isn't sure what exactly she is going to be later on in life, but whatever it is, she is bent on leading a bold life and leaving permanent marks. Quiet is, for her, the very worst thing she could ever be. Shelly is also a social butterfly. She has a strict notion that an ally is the most useful thing you can have, even if you plan to betray them later on. That is the reason she has very little enemies: unlike many of her house, she'll go out of her way not to make any. As you might have guessed, Shelly is not exactly a loyal person. Her many friends often mean nothing to her, except a rare few.
Another important trait of her personality is persistence. Not the most powerful witch, Shelly nonetheless is quite accomplished in most classes, mostly because she tries to seem as strong as possible.
Special Skills:
Funnily enough, she is very good at divination
Love Life:
Shelly is fourteen. Is it really a relevant question?
History:
Raised by a muggle father, Shelly's questions about her mother never found suitable answers until her letter arrived: all her father would say was that her mother was "special" and it was likely she'd grow up the same way. The first time she had used magic at the age of six, she set a teacher's clothing on fire in school, but the consequences of the magic wasn't what worried her father: he was convinced that being a witch was extremely dangerous. In the end, he barely let her go to Hogwarts at the age of eleven. The reason behind that was, as Shelly later learned, that her mother, Anita, was killed by her own spell by accident.
At Hogwarts, Shelly blossomed. She quickly made many good friends, absorbed information from many subjects, and never felt more at ease. She still mostly visits her dad every break, but enjoys her time in school more.
boggart:
being the weakest, everyone laughing at her.
favorite subject:
Anything outdoors, normally. Also, divination.
