year;; 5th house;; hufflepuff feeling;; curious tagged;; junoShe was a pretty girl. Cyrus recognized her as a seventh year, Gryffindor. He was always good with remembering who people were. They often left an impression on him, even if he had never met them before. The boys in his year had often talked about her when she passed by in the halls. Cyrus figured she had many suitors, after all she was gorgeous, it was plain to see right now. Not that he really cared, but he put two and two together. The people other people talked about were always the most interesting kinds. He wondered if this girl was any different.
"Oh! Of course. Have a seat." He smiled, then turned his attention to Garrett. Acapella was rather aggressive, especially to humans, but she was maintaining her temper right now. The fluffy tailed kneazle never took her eyes off Garrett. Instead, she watched him closely, tail especially poofed up. Cyrus laid his hand gently over her head, stroking her fur in a comforting manner to keep her under control and so he would be quicker to grab her if things were to go wrong. She was a very intelligent kneazle. However, she was very protective, too, which made her claw or bite at people or animals she didn't trust being around Cyrus. Sometimes, this was his own mother. She often complained about it and would yell at her and wonder why she ever even bought a kneazle. She also sometimes told her to get a job, which, Cyrus always laughed at. His mother was a lovely person when she... well... wasn't angry.
Cyrus remembered this girl well. Her year, her house. But he couldn't quite remember her name. In fact, he never learned it. People were too busy gawking over her to even remember it themselves. "So... you're a seventh year Gryffindor, right?" He asked, deciding it better to pull Acapella into his lap. He wanted to make sure his memory proved true. "What's your name?" Ack, this girl also made Cyrus feel short. Who didn't, though, besides the first years? He sighed then put on a small smile. "He's a very nice cat."

His kindness was obviously noted even at first glance, the boy had an air of thoughtfulness and peace that made Juno feel more at ease for she really did not feel like talking back..especially to fifth years. She gave him a relieved sort of casual smirk before replying,
"Correct, my name's Juno." the seventh year replied. She would have given him her last name but after a few misshapes after introducing herself to people that recognized her surname from advertisements of her relatives dancing in a field of roses to portray the fragrance of a new shampoo or some other cosmetic, Juno learned that her given name would be adequate.
She leaned back in her seat, and as if it were a signal, Garrett gracefully crawled up to her lap and settled there with his head on his paws and his brick colored orbs flashing unblinkingly towards Cyrus' own protective looking pet. Juno performed the instinctive stroking upon the back of the ginger cat's soft ears with her lean and slender fingers, she heard his deep purring almost immediately but her gaze did not leave the Hufflpuff. She smiled at his remark towards Garrett,
"Thank you, I might say the same about yours if she wasn't giving us the evil eye," Juno said playfully with a small chuckle. Cyrus' cat was very provoking though, Juno didn't mind as long as it didn't cause any ruckus, but she was a strange creature. Juno had gathered enough curiosity about the animal until she finally raised her face up again to Cyrus' to ask if his cat really was a cat, however she heard the sliding door to the compartment open. Juno gave the girl a weary look before drawing her legs up into a native American style, Garrett was a little upset with the new arrangement but he fixed himself again into a fluffy ginger ball. The new arrival to the compartment seemed a bit 'hopeful' meaning that she may want to spark up some form of drawling conversation. Introductions were okay, arguing on Quidditch was even better, and maybe a good discussion on the Dark Lord's defeat would make the time in the train pass by faster. This is why she liked the look of Cyrus, he was calm but indulging in a way that wasn't annoying, hopefully, this new, 'hopeful' girl was the same.
Juno turned back to Cyrus, tucking a stray black strand behind an ear before resuming petting Garrett,
"I'm guessing you are a Hufflepuff," she said softly with a more attentive smile. She was giving this boy a chance of becoming an acquaintance, fifth year or not, Juno's attention was hard to catch.
