Robyn got up and made her way down the narrow aisle, plopping herself right next to the nervous boy. A cheeky grin was plastered across her face. "Hello." The girl said, enthusiastically. Robyn thrust out her hand towards Basil, offering it as a friendly greeting. "I'm Robyn Peronne. And you?" Robyn admitted that she could be outgoing and friendly. But maybe a little too much. Her hand lingered in the air until the boy took it. This kid looks like a mess! Robyn chuckled. It amused her how frightened this boy was. Although she wouldn't say that aloud. Maybe.

Basil heard footsteps coming his way. There was a girl that was coming over to sit next to him. She plopped down in the empty seat beside him. He did not see this girl at the airport, but he did have his nose stuck in a book, so it was hard to tell if she really was there and he did not see her. She announced herself as Robyn. He remembered that red hair, ah yes! She was the unorganized one! She held out her hand in some type of greeting. He wouldnot dare touch that thing, it could have been anywhere. "Umm... Basil," he said. His thick British accent laced his words, but so did his nervousness. He turned towards the seat, not making eye contact. He never read a book about social interactions, as he did not need it. But on this trip, he may. Basil glanced at the girl. She looked... wild. Not really a person to hang out with, but could be useful in some situations.

The girl kept her hand in front of Basil, even when he didn't accept it. "You can't just leave me hanging here, Basil. What, shanking hands ain't your thing? What about a fist bump? Robyn clenched her fist and waited until Basil returned the hand greeting. She waited there, grinning. Just to see what he would do, Robyn wouldn't move her hand until then. "You look pretty nervous. What's up with that? Afraid of heights?" Robyn inquired, curious. Maybe he was a afraid of the plane not working properly. Well, whatever it was, Robyn was curious. Her hand twitched while waiting for Basil to fist bump it back.

Basil looked at her strange. What was a fist bump? He laughed nervously. "Pardon me, miss, but I think you may be confused. I do not "fist bump" or "high five" I hate human interaction and I have no social skill whatsoever. I just want to concentrate on this plane and continue to be deathly afraid," he told her. The plane shook violently and Basil gripped his seat, colour draining from his face. This must have answered her question. "Yes, very. Plus I have never been on a plane before, and right now, I do not like them," he added. It was true, he did not like planes, and of his father did not sign him up, none of this would have happened. He just wanted to alone on the ground, not thousands of feet up. He gripped the seat tightly, he did not care if she saw him this way.

The light-blue haired girl was not the most social person in the world. Sure, she is not the kind of girl who had absolutely no social skills, for she did, she was just more of a quiet person than most teenage girls her age. She just did not typically converse with people very often, unless she had something important to say. of course, if she was going to be on a strange island for a few weeks these few strangers, she might as well get used to the people, and perhaps even make some friends. Looking up at him, especially when he moved seats from in front of her to the empty seat next to her, which she quickly grabbed her sketchpad from, she lightly bit her lower lip, an adorable look for her, her icey blue eyes looking up at his admittedly handsome face. "My name is Skylar Jones. Nice to meet you Finnick. And no, I don't mind at all, it's fine." She gave him a soft, gentle smile.

Robyn smiled and put her hand down. "Suit yourself." She smiled about the part about hating human interaction. "It may not seem like it, but sometimes I do too. That's why I always bring—" She paused and rummaged through her pocket. "—this." Robyn whipped out her iPod and took out her earpieces. "When you're jamming out to some songs, most people won't bother you much." As the plane shook, Robyn let out a small laugh. "It also distracts you from things. Here, try it." Robyn offered Basil an earpiece and put the other in her ear. It wouldn't be that big if a deal if he refused to listen to her music, but it sure did help. She looked through some songs and tried finding a song that wouldn't freak out Basil. Ah, to hell with it, the girl thought as she randomly chose a song. She almost burst out laughing when she heard the song Animal by The Cab come on. Ah, well. "If you want me to change it, just ask." She said with a grin. Although, Robyn would like to know how he'd react to this song.

Basil looked at the earned that she was offering him. He looked at ot,. He had seen and heard about these, but he never bothered to use them. Maybe he could change on this trip, have some fun? He decided to take the earbud, somewhat confidently, and wiped off the tip before putting it in his ear. It was a few seconds before a song came on. It was similar to the junk his father listened to. He squinted his eyes and tried to enjoy it, but took it out after a few seconds. "You can have this back, miss," he said. He handed back the earbud to her. He wanted for this plane trip to be over. He did not like planes, and was never getting on one after this. He waited fror what Robyn would do next.

-Finnick studied her a good deal in the brief pause, small features like the way her chin curved or the freckles on her cheeks were what caught his attention, and he bit his smile as her lips pulled into an adorable gesture. He shifted his gaze to not seem fixated and didn't meet her eyes for a couple seconds after he sat down and got himself organized. For carry-on he was rather light, he had a small notebook, camera, phone, and some other stuff. Sifting through his things quickly sent a pang of anticipation and nervousness up his spine, or maybe it was just being closer to her.

Skylar Jones , he repeated the name in his head before glancing up to smile at her with his almost signature smirk.-"I've never met a Skylar before. You'd be the first."

-Finnick said the words as if they were laced with gold, he loved first's. First everythings, and there were many first's to be had on this adventure, and he couldn't help thinking the first adventure of the trip had just been getting to let her name roll off his tongue.-"It's nice to meet you too, and, thank you."-He zipped up his bag and met her gaze again, a sort of curiosity burning away at him,"so, what brings you on this trip anyway? you far from home?"
