Leo whirled his head around upon Percy's inquiry. Swallowing a doughnut he'd inhaled, he then thought about it, putting a finger to his chin. Where was Frank?! "I don't know, man. Maybe he turned into a fly or something to try and spy on us!" At this, the spontaneous boy decided he'd try to set up a cheery atmosphere by walking around with a goofy suspicious look plastered on his face. That would either cause everyone to burst out guffawing as they struggled to speak praises and compliments about his hilariousness through the howls of laughter, or it would cause everyone to examine him with blank stares, wondering just what the Hades he was thinking. Either way, it'd be a good way to open their meeting to discuss this awful war and how it might end. It would end one way or another. Leo would ensure that the finale of their hardships would be watching Gaea as she fell back into her endless slumber, her powers numbed by the searing warmth of Leo's flames. "Anyway..." He broke out of character for one moment to address Percy and Annabeth. They had only entered the room recently, sleepy looks on the adorable couple's little faces. "Wow...if you guys are looking rough, then I must look like a train hit me." He brushed a cluster of dust off of his shoulder, aiming his flick so that no dirt would land on the precious nightmare-preventing doughnuts.

Piper rolled her eyes when Leo started scanning the area for flies. She refocused her attention on Percy and Annabeth as they walked in. They looked pretty exhausted, but at least the couple wasn't blanketed in doughnut powder. She was totally prepared for them to question her. After all, she was already questioning them with her curious multicolored eyes. Her daughter of Aphrodite nature caused her to smile upon their joined hands. Oddly enough, Piper remembered when she used to be envious of Percy and Annabeth. They used to seem untouchable, as if Jason and her would never be able to understand each other on the level that Seaweed Brain and Wise Girl did, and her own relationship was destined for failure. But then it had happened...she'd flat out told Jason she loved him. Now, they were just as inseparable. Maybe it wasn't the doughnuts that had battled the monstrous nightmares. Piper should have known it all along. It was him. Just the thought made her cheeks flush pink and her stomach fill with butterflies. She grinned at the blonde-haired boy and then averted her gaze back to Annabeth. "Hey." She greeted her friend. After her initial thoughts about her and her boyfriend, Piper had begun to realize that poor Annie was probably just as nervous and restless as the rest of them felt.

Jason grinned back at Piper, then dusted himself off and walked out the door. The morning breeze ruffled his hair as the sun rose over the horizon, and for a bit, the weight seemed to life off of his shoulders. Sighing in contentment, he leaned back on the mast and closed him eyes, simply enjoying life for the first time in a long time.
