The House of Hades.

In a word: traumatizing.

Traumatizing in sort of happy way, I mean WHAT KIND OF WAY IS THAT TO END THE SECOND TO LAST FREAKING BOOK IN A SERIES LIKE HEROES OF OLYMPUS THEY LITERALLY FLEW INTO THE SUNSET I EXPECTED TO BE MURDERED BY SOME SORT OF CLIFFHANGER. AGH.

Ahem, I'm not complaining. I mean, hey, all our babies are safe. I mean, maybe except for Nico and Reyna *sobs because those two babes are just perfect*

So yeah. Sadly... the series... is coming to a tragic *sobs* end.

And while a year is too long... it's also not long enough. I mean, hey, House of Hades came and went, and just think, by this time next year, PERCY JACKSON'S WRITTEN LEGACY WILL BE OVER. Sure, he'll live on in our hearts... but still...

Ehem anyway. Enough with the rambling. Let's get on with this.

Last year, I ran a House of Hades roleplay. This year shall be no different. Except, instead of House of Hades, it's the fifth book, The Blood of Olympus.

Care to join? Excellent! Before you dive right into those forms, let's get to rules, shall we?

• Semi-literate! This is a semi-literate to literate roleplay. I except nothing short of a paragraph. A good, well thought out paragraph with good grammar and spelling and stuff. I understand typos and whatnot, but there's a fine line between typo and just straight up nonsense.
  
  
• You must have read every PJO/HoO book! Now this isn't including the side stories, but every book, from The Lightning Thief, to The Last Olympian, from The Lost Hero to the House of Hades, must have been read. This is for two reasons. One: I don't want the book(s) to be spoiled for you. Two: You need to have some understanding of the background. Sorry.
  
• No major plot twists without my permission. Like if you want to kill someone off, you gotta let me know first. You don't have to tell anyone else, xD like if you want it to be a surprise or something, but I must know. I'll admit, I got a few tricks up my sleeve, muhehehehehehhe.
  
• Make your own forms, please :D Pff this rule isn't here because I'm lazy. Totally not. .... No but in all seriousness it helps to give me an idea of your literacy and ability to handle your desired character.
  
• As of now, only two characters per person. All of the characters in the roleplay at the moment are going to be from the books, therefore: canon. No OCs. And to keep things fair, only two canon characters per person. Now, since I'd love to have a little plot twist where Octavian launches an attack on Camp Half-Blood, this limit may be loosened a bit.
  
• I'll reserve a character for a week. Want to join and can't get a form up right away? Just let me know, and I'll reserve them for you, but if I don't notice any attempt/progress on your forms, the reservation will be taken down and they will be avalible for anyone once more. Of course, if you can complete your form before someone takes them after the week of reservation is up, they're all yours. xD
  
• Use common sense. Come on, if you're a semi-literate roleplay you should know what is expected. No god-modding, powerplay, and follow all of Tess's rules. Need I say more?
  
• Three strikes and you're out. Break a rule once, you'll be messaged via PM. Twice, you'll be pointed out publicly on the thread. Thrice, and you will be removed from this roleplay. You're characters will be up for grabs.

.personality. ;; Being a daughter of the Greek Goddess Athena, Annabeth is incredibly wise. She has a fondness for architecture as well, but also suffers from hubris, which means deadly pride, where she believes she can do anything, sometimes better than anyone else. She's very harsh and judgemental during first meetings, but when you get to know her and become her friend, she's caring and loyal and would give her life for you. She also possesses a New York Yankess cap (she doesn't like the Yankees, it was a gift from her mother), that can turn her invisible, and a Celestial Bronze dagger (which can't hurt mortals). She keeps both items secured to her belt loop on either side of her.

.history. ;; Since she was seven, Annabeth found herself at Camp Half-Blood, the only safe haven for demigods, or children of a Greek/Roman god(ess) and a mortal. She was claimed by Athena. Before coming to Camp, though, she traveled the streets with a ragtag team of other half-bloods, Luke Castellan and Thalia Grace. They were found by a satyr named Grover who lead to them camp. Unfortunately, Thalia was killed by monsters just outside of Camp (she was later ressurected). When she was twelve, she met Percy Jackson, and they went on many quests together. They have grown closer over the years, and by the age of sixteen, after nearly dying, they became a 'thing', even though she's had feelings for him since their first quest.

.personality. ;; Reyna is a very strong-willed person. She is strict with the members of the Twelfth Legion and doesn't like to be questioned. However, the reason she is so strict is because she is determined to protect her family after what happened on C.C.'s Spa and Resort. Because of her past, she doesn't show any signs of weakness around others and keeps up her mature public image to keep up the moral of the camp. She feels that if she ever appears nervous or scared, her emotions will cause the camp to worry as well.

She is distrustful and dubious of new people or people she feels aren't honest with her. She seems to have a softer side when alone or with people she trusts. She has two automaton grayhounds, one gold, and one silver, named Aurum and Argentum, who act like walking lie detectors. She hates people using her full name - Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano. Jason said it once trying to pronounce it and Reyna shot him a murderous look.

.history. ;; Reyna and her older sister Hylla were born to Bellona in Puerto Rico. They used to live at C.C.'s Spa and Resort ran by Circe. Their home was destroyed by Blackbeard and his crew of pirates when Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase accidentally transformed the pirates back into humans using Hermes' multivitamins. According to Reyna, the pirates destroyed the island and took revenge on Circe. Reyna and Hylla, being daughters of Bellona, learned to use weapons quickly and managed to escape from the island and the pirates after being held captive. Eventually, the two sisters went their separate ways. Hylla joined the Amazons and eventually became the Amazon Queen, while Reyna found Camp Jupiter, and eventually became a praetor, along with Jason Grace at the time.

As praetor, new arrivals of the camp are required to meet with her. Nico di Angelo appeared before Reyna and asked her to allow Hazel Levesque to become part of the Legion, which Reyna accepted. Frank also met with her and apologized for the acts of Shen Lun, his great-grandfather, who supposedly caused the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. Reyna however told Frank to never mention to anyone who his great-grandfather was, but she let him into the camp. When Percy arrived to Camp Jupiter, she pretended not to know him, even though she saw him at C.C.'s Spa and Resort.

During her time as praetor, she and Jason started to form a close relationship, but Jason vanished forcing Reyna to lead the camp by herself, after which she was pestered by Octavian, a legacy of Apollo, to hold elections for a new praetor. She agreed to, but only at the Feast of Fortuna. While Octavian began to gain support using bribes and blackmail, Reyna started looking for a suitable substitute for Jason, which arrived in the form of Percy.

percy jackson is many things, a hero, a trickster, a jokester, etc. but
he'd be nothing without his team. his team is his family, and he
often goes to extremes to make sure that they're safe and sound.
if anyone is going to be blamed, percy prefer it be him. he is
extremely protective, and almost always lives up to his promises.
percy is stupidly brave and courageous, or maybe i should've stopped
at stupid. if a friend or family member is in danger, he'd do incredible
[or idiotic, depending on who you are] things to get them out of harms
reach.

Personality;; When people first look at Percy, they see a trouble maker. But actually Percy is caring and brave, he always tries to be brave and look on the bright side for the others, even if he is just as nervous. He will always keep his word and will stop at no ends to save a friend. In fact, thats his fatal flaw; loyalty.

Percy has a great sense of humour and can be sarcastic at times. Over-all he has a laid-back attitude, except when it comes to his friends. That is crossing the line. Percy generally does not like to be told what to do and escpecially hates bullying, and when people use him. He cares greatly for his friends and family and will not stand by and watch Gaea try and destory the world. Nope, Gaea's not that lucky Percy fully intends to save the world once more and then eventually live a "quiet" life with Annabeth.

Weapon of choice;; Riptide/Anaklusmos, which is a pen until uncapped. If lost it will always reappear in his pocket.

History (Past life);; Before Percy found Camp Half-Blood he lived with his mother, Sally Jackson and his step father, Gabe (a.k.a Smelly Gabe). He was always getting in trouble at school and got expelled six times in six years. Eventually the monsters found him and he barely got to Camp Half-Blood alive. When he was twelve he met Annabeth and they went on their first quest together. Since then they had grown closer until finally they officially became an "item". He isn't about to let her down.
