Ferris is definitely not your normal girl. She's not proper, nor does she wish to be. She's spunky and fun loving to the max. Talk about passionate! This odd creature LOVES what she does. From sailing to sewing, Ferris is very confident in who she is, what she does, and how she does it. But beware- Get on her bad side? She's bound to put up one heck of a fight. Now! To talk about Ferris's choice of clothing...She's always been slightly insane. Not to mention artistic. Thus, her clothing is wild, torn, young, way-too-short, and crazy...Yet somehow beautiful. She was born into a gypsy family that goes back god-only-knows how many generations. However, this is a rather little known fact, both to strangers and Ferris herself! You see, the reason she took to sailing in the first place was because she was orphaned. How does that relate, you might think. Well, Ferris's mother and father couldn't support her in times of chaos between several different tribes of gypsy, so the two set out while her mother was still pregnant- trying to find someone, ANYONE- who would care for their child. Until they came upon a ship. A pirates ship. The pirate offered to take the child in return for a simple sack of 400 golden coins and a promise that their little girl would live a wealthy life along with a rides passage until the mother gave birth and they came to the next dock... Ferris was born, and three days after- her parents were gone.

He really fancied some îles flottantes. Soft, poached meringue on crème anglaise with spun sugar balancing delicately on top. Dear God, right now, the Duke of Normandie would give anything, anything at all for a plate of îles flottantes. Of course, it would be nice to have a large, rich meal (preferably with at least five courses first) beforehand, but his taste buds craved the wonderfully light yet filling desert. He had not had the desert for some months, and he had awoken, what, ten minutes ago, craving it.

Waving dismissal to the maids that came to help him dress - he could do that on his own, merci - Alexander unfolded his rich clothes of the latest fashion (in black, of course, apart from the crisp white shirt he had bought the day before) and pulled them on. Then his sword, a rapier, was strapped to his hip, his cuffs were neatened, his hair was styled and he used a cut throat razor to have a quick shave, leaving only his signature little moustache, goatee and, what did the English call them, muttonchops. Not large, of course. His crossbow, already set with a bolt, just in case (and the safety lock on) hung behind his back. Finally ready, Alexander Louis Bonfils exited the rooms gifted to him by the King.

Lady in waiting, nineteen, Palace Versailles.

The sun rose in the east and cast an amber shadow across the grand country, France. It was now six hours after dawn and Jaquette stood patiently in the Queen's drawing room, waiting for any command or word to be said from the anointed royal; Queen Eruanna. Jaquette was stood beside her working partner Victoria, and casting her a glance she smiled briefly before then turning her head back to the face the Queen. She was not exactly the closest to Victoria but she saw her as a friend anyhow, and would always be for her if the need be. However at this moment in time she found herself dreaming and fantasizing about things that would never happen. You could say that she was positively s'ennuyer,or in English as she had learnt in her studies, bored.

Shifting her weight from one foot to the other, she brushed down her elaborately embroidered dress and adjusted her crown, resting on her head. The jewels of amber and diamond all patterned their way in a beautiful line and served to match her dress, which was traditional but in the colour of light brown and orange. However, her eyes shifted direction when a figure stepped into the corridoor beside the open door. She squinted her eyes for a moment to work out who it was but when seeing she quickly looked away. The Duke was no concern to hers. He was just a player and so holding her head high she directed her eyes to remain forwards and to the Queen.
