Aster placed her diary on the floor and rolled over on her dubble-bed to see her alarm clock. She inwardly groaned. The clock read 00:12. Another day has started again. Again. At least this day was over, and school will start again in the morning. She should probably get some sleep. But the room seemed hot and stuffy. The whole day has been. How could you sleep then? It would be good to go to bed, with your limbs tired and sore from a day of hard play and happiness. Her brain just seem dead now from yet another bunch of studying and music the whole day through.

She stood up and ran her hand through her hair. It was clean, as always, just a great mess. Taking up her diary she walked to her balcony. The night was still outside. Like nothing has happened ever, on this big wide planet. Even though she knew somewere a baby was being born. Lovers on a date. Someone still awake. Busy with a life. Life. She looked down on her balcony plants.. some of the few reasuring things in her life, even though they are plants, she loves them dearly. Maybe its just the way they keep searching for sunlight even though they are rooted in one spot. They never lose hope, always blooming to their fullest. Aster leant over the balcony and picked up her diary, squinting to read what she had written in the dim moonlight.

Dear Diary.
I started this book just to see how I would get on. I have always liked writing, and it will be another good passerby of time - some new kind of adventure for me. It would be nice to write a few more daydreams here, and look at them again when I am old and grey.
But... what would I tell them - my grandchildren? I'm quite content on my own.. but.. I would like to tell them some kind of adventure I went through in my childhood, would I? Or tell them of my first-loves? Yeah right.. I would probably die an old maiden. But life is good to me still, I don't want to sound unthankful. I live in one beautiful room, and have beautiful parents. Life is good..

Aster looked up from her page and fiddled with her roses. She noticed a tear sliding down as she realized how she was even trying to keep reality from herself. You can't always pretend your life is okay, even if you did try to make it beautiful yourself.
The truth is, I'm lonely. She admitted, sniffing.

She walked to her bed and slowly picked up an old barbie doll that she liked to keep there. What did I do when I was younger and I felt like this? Did I always make up imaginary friends? She tried to thought back, stroking the barbie’s hair.
One of them was the mirror. She used to play that there was a land beyond it, and she could step through it and have adventures. But it felt more real.
Aster walked to the mirror. If I used a bit imagination, would it still work? She knew it would. Taking a deep breath, and trying to ignore the vioce that told her she was no longer a child, she stepped through.

<<I kinda just went with an idea. If I did anything wrong or not by your idea let me know and I'll change it c:

        Levi
        Seventeen Single Savage
        __________________________________________________________________

It almost always started the same. He could find no comparison for this sensation. An unwelcome touch of icy cold hitting his cheek from skin to bone, collapsing his perfect relief from reality; the frigid, vacancy that freed him from sour memories melted away until he was gazing at the light fixations on the inside of his eyelids. For a moment he found it hard to tell what muscles moved what body parts and he froze in slight panic remembering where he was he laid still. He knew this place, already without even opening his eyes he knew exactly where he was. A cold blue hued light paled his face more then it already was and he felt his chest tighten with a feeling he hadn't felt in quite sometime but now couldn't be deciphered between anticipation or a fear. As if he was on auto pilot Levi's hand moved forward, his heart beat escalated as he felt like something might be squeezing his throat closed. His fingers dipped through the surface disappearing on the other side as a cold zap sent a shiver up his spine, like iced tendrils raked up his back. With his palm no fully dissolved into the surface a smile-that hadn't found its way to Levi's face in years- danced at the corners of his mouth turning them upwards slightly. Levi was standing before something that he had only been able to daydream in class about. An almost forgotten memory locked up in his brain where no one could find it. The mirror...

It had started as a perfectly normal day, you could say in Levi's eyes- He hadn't done anything extra stupid and he could only hope he hadn't managed to mess something up. When he had gotten home, he began the normal almost half dash to the stairs he did every evening he got home, desperately hoping to avoid the other man in the house. But today he had no such luck-as he did most days recently. His father had caught him by the wrist as he hit the first step, almost like those trap door spiders that wait for their prey to come waltzing by. Levi's back had hit the floor with a force he thought he had maybe grown used to, but again no such luck. So like most days his father had a large clear bottle of whiskey in his hand the amber brown liquid sloshing around inside as he had hauled Levi back to his feet and dragged him towards the basement, the seventeen year old didn't even struggle with his father anymore. He had learned that lesson the hard way. Levi wasn't even sure what he had done anymore, he couldn't remember why his father had started hitting him, or why his father thought that a bottle of booze was a good meal re-placer. His mother had died. he knew that, he could never live it down with the way his father screamed about it when they were in the basement. everyone needs an outlet for their anger and sadness, Levi had come to the conclusion that he was his fathers outlet. Beaten and bruised he must have laid down on the cool basement floor for an hour or two willing the taste of blood in his mouth and the hot burn of his new marks to go away. Hoping in some ways that he might just pass out so he wouldn't have to feel it anymore. But Levi had never been lucky.

He had dragged himself upstairs to his room, sliding down the back side of his closed door where he brought his knees to his chest. he put his head in his arms, blonde hair falling across his face. After a while his eyes had started to finally drift shut. It was so rare for a good nights sleep to ever grace itself upon Levi and he often lay awake till the sun would make its way back up and visible in the sky again. So when his eyelids began to wight down, and he was unable to keep them open any longer the boy embraced the blackness around him like a child to their blanket. Levi knew he was probably still huddled up, knees to chest, back pressed against his closed door but still he felt as if he might be drifting away. Falling almost tumbling but he didn't care-anything was better then reality he knew he was going to be back in. It was then the cool light washed over his face and caused his eyes to flutter open. His reflection peered back at him, except it wasn't Him. The child standing in the opposite side of the mirror wasn't the Broken boy he had been but yet a smiling, wide eyed and almost joyful blonde haired boy with the same strange eyes as his own. His hand reached forward bathing him in the blue glow and his hand dipped through the surface making the smiling boy disappear. Replaced with his own tall, lean figure. He felt the pang of excitement return to him when he let his arm sink a little further before he took the first step into glossy surface.

He woke with a jolt. Taking in a sharp intake of air as his eyes opened. it was the same as it had always been. Not a thing had changed since he had last been here. This place only made Levi wonder how much of a freak he actually was. Memories of past visits seemed to be rushing into his mind like a dam had broken-spilling all sorts of thoughts into the front of his brain. Although one's Dream land probably consisted of Waterfalls and magical whatever's Levis had always started off strange. Dead Birch tress loomed over him,zig-zagging every which way in a undecipherable pattern. It seemed more nightmare-ish then dreamy. The place beyond the mirror had always been Levis favorite place-even without the gushy stuff that most people probably thought up. No, he came up with odd creatures and dense forests. From between the trees he finally spotted him. The one that had always greeted him as a child, The deer like creature stepped out into the long dirt path leading straight into nothing. Shaped exactly like a deer from head to toe the creatures tail was long and thick like that of a snow leopard, its mighty antlers seemed to curl inwards toward each other, along with ram horns curled underneath its ears. It stepped further out into the path and Levi stood dead still. The Creatures head swiveled when Levi's breathing hitched, its ears pricked forward and black almost soulless eyes stared at him as if in awe. The something he expected but didn't happened "Your back". Then the creature before him Smiled.

Rebecca Cleverwood || Bored || With; No one

It had been like always but to day she punched the rich snot in the face, to Rebecca the whiny baby deserved it and she had not regrets until she was yelled at by her favourite person in the world, Miss Parsons. She never liked Miss Parsons and Miss Parsons never liked her. When she came to this dumb school she knew that she would be an outcast to everyone, she was always an outcast only hanging out with a few kids her age and that were like her. She tried to fit in with the others here but every time she tried she end up yelling at the snots, punching the snots, or ignored them and thats why she doesn't have friends.

Rebecca ran her hands through her soft blonde hair and gave a sigh as she walked into her room,it was late and they kept her in that class way longer then needed. She was glad she didn't have a room mate she liked being alone, she put on her PJ pants. The old ones that had lost there color and had Eeyore on them, she then put on a big shirt and a sweater that was way too big for her, her cousin had given it to her before she left. He is the only one that really talks to her and even though she tells herself it doesn't hurt. It hurts her every day knowing that your parents don't care about her , she shook the thought away.

She soon puts her hair in a bun, jumping on her bed and grabbing her glasses and her book she starts to read, after about 5 chapters she drops the book on the floor chucks her glasses to the other side of the room and turns the light out. She very well knew she wasn't getting any sleep, it was like every night. Her blue eyes starred at the dark wall, looking for something she wasn't sure what. She turned so she was looking at the other wall and started thinking of things.

Maybe it isn't that bad I'll be out of this place before I know it......or not. I think Jade deserved a good punch in the face I've been letting her and her friends push me around way too long it's about time she was told she doesn't rule this dump. OH wow I just noticed something it's almost been a full year since I've seen a boy or any guys I know. I wonder if they changed.....well they must have...........I never got that dumb joke that teacher said, something about a frog or was it a duck.........The mirror.... she always thought randomly when she was bored and sometimes said things out loud. She whipped around but the mirror was there like always nothing different. Rebecca started to think she was going crazy or something, it had to be a dream a dream that kept on happening. Maybe she would have the same dream tonight, she laid her head down and closed her eyes soon drifting off to a peaceful sleep that rarely ever happened.

She sat up with a start, rubbing her eyes as it was still dark. She turned on the night light in her room and started towards the bathroom to turn on the light she stopped and looked at the mirror, she stared at it for a very long time or what seemed like a long time. I'm 18 for crying out loud there is no such thing as another place in a mirror....yep its a dream another dream. she crossed her arms and after a long time of thought she walked through.

[[ I thank all the ones who've posted, you are great!
@bake4u it's amazing! :p I like the idea of having an animal <3 I'm stealing your idea, is that ok? Maybe they can join the charries together...

So, what if these characters meet each other? The idea is that this crazy place wants them meeting. Going a little bit deeper we can say that these characters need that last push for the transition from teenager to adult, that's why they need each other. c: ]]

it was such a wonderful feeling, walking through this wide and high cavern, not feeling the cold at all. of course, to her, the land beyond the mirror hasn't always been nice and charming. she's seen killing, believed she herself would scream to death when falling off a cliff, has even had her heart broken. now, it was the beautiful lapse when she forgot she was not dreaming, or she didn't care about the fact anymore, for a while. outside, it rained, and tall trees stood in front of her. behind one, michelle's head appeared. she was a girl from her ballet classes, perhaps a bit too chubby to perform the dance to perfection. well, you're no white swan either, be polite, say hi. so she got closer to that girl, who awaited for grace with an expecting gaze. "hullo, michelle, what brings you here?" the brunette asked friendly. "i've kissed someone.", michelle the blonde confessed. "kissed?!" grace asked incredulously, her tone a little too sharp, unfortunately. her dancing partner was not the goddess aphrodite, but ugly betty, not much more than that. "well, yes-" the other replied in a defiant tone. "-i'm kissing paul right now, so you might as well leave me alone." poor gracie watched as her admired secret crush held the big blonde in his arms and both joined their mouths happily. she turned away and ran deep into the forest. i must hide from them! i can't see them!, she thought desperately as bitter tears stung her eyes and ran down her cheeks. sometimes the land beyond the mirror had her heart broken.

as if she had just woken up, she forgot all that had just happened. before her a thin and quiet stream flowed, dividing the woods. on the top of her head, a reddish-brown squirrel with a purple striped tail and short teeth sniffed the air. the girl took its presence for granted, until she set it down on her palm and stroked his head. she knew who it was, and it knew who she was. "where to go, whoop? where to go?" she could walk back to where she had come from in the first place, all over again, or she could try to cross the stream, to find more forest then. whoop was waiting for her at the other side of the stream. grace didn't wonder how it had arrived there, and she let out a snorty laugh. "now, whoopie dear, seriously, what if there are dangers in there?" she asked the rodent, as she stepped down onto the water where it was most shallow. she saw she had got wet up to her knees when she came out of the stream. one of a tree's knotted roots read: 'play'. instinctively gracie pressed on a knot, and a fragment of john lennon's 'happy xmas' was heard. the sensible brunette grinned and continued her way into the woods, humming, but singing with special emphasize the bits, 'war is over!'.

Green grass. Rolling hills. Is what Aster first felt - saw. It was so different from her stuffy room.. and stuffy life. A light wind came and flowed through her hair. All was silent, and she let out a sigh.. Almost too afraid to disturb and to break the silence. Feeling like a big weight was lifted off her shoulders, she reached her eyes over the horizon - taking in the mountains in the distance. Everything felt so open. So different of what she was used to, though so as if she was wishing for this every day, of her life. As the memories came flooding back, she knows she was here before, in her dreams, yes.. but also in her life. The one place were she always felt happy. It was the one place her parents would let her go. Her grandparent's farm in Wyoming. As a little girl she spent her summers there, blissing the days away. She remembered the creeks were she could swim for hours. The pick-nicks she and her grandma went on. The adventures her grandpa would suggest. All the things she learnt - like riding as well. She spent hours upon hours in the saddle. She remembered all the horses. A whole barn full of them, although there was only one special one to her. Her grandpa introduced her to him when she was but only a toddler, and the little bay Quarter horse was her's ever since. She and Ace would go everywhere together - he was her way to freedom. He learnt her things that would stay with her forever, and gave her everything she longed for in her caged up life. And though.. She knew when she came back after every summer to her parent's big house, it was harder to live with it. Being a little girl, she could not yet put everything back into perspective.. And she lived with a hole deep in her heart that she did not really know were it came from. No, she was a happy little girl, over-flowing with gratitude that people took advantage from.

Aster looked back over the rolling hills, still staling as nostalgic days filled her heart and mind. It came really in a river of emotions. It was hard admitting things to yourself. And it was harder still knowing now that you admitted it, you have to live with it.
The place were she felt so happy - those were happy days. It was sad when her parents blocked her path to it, though she learnt to accept it later on. Truth was, she had a friend on the ranch. Reddy. They really were like brother and sister - and I mean, too young to be anything more anyway. But her parents thought it not a good thing and her summer times were limited. And when high school started.. well.. she took her balcony as her friend again, having to study to please her parents and all. Times fade away after a while, though her heart longed for Ace. But trying to forget is a way of surviving... But now..
Aster looked over to the herd of horses down at the bottom of the hill. Everything was back all ever again.

Aster longed to go to the horses, but she decided not to bother them though, everything felt so peaceful. And yet, memories made an aching feeling in her heart. Instead, leaned a tired head against a big old fir tree and closed her eyes. Sighing deeply as if just to give a break. The wind cooled down her face.. and her soul. The fir trees made their own talk, or song. Life was so rushed. No matter what you do, you never really feel free in any part of it. It was only the wide open spaces - the nature, that could give her this. She heard a crack over the twigs. Like something was plodding over it. I know that sound.. Aster thought, still with her eyes closed. It can't be, its only a dream. Something snorted softly in her face. She looked up slowly. "Ace?" It really was him! His star on his forehead, his little horsey whiskers on his muzzle. The way his big sparkly brown eyes looked back imploringly kind unto her. It was like he was asking, "Still friends? I missed you. Did you miss me?" It really was him! The Ace. Her Ace.
Her heart overflowed with happiness, she laughed as he ruffled her hair. It felt so so good. Hugging him, she ruffled his face and mane, "How in the world did you make it here?" She scratched his withers and laughed as he lifted his lip up in pleasure. Then she hugged him all over again. " You have no idea boy... You have no idea..."

[[ Ay. I didn't make it clear, didn't I? :s It slipped sorry. They are all in the same world. Of course the characters don't know they've been sharing it with others all this time. Some see and hear things others don't and it's okay, since the dream hits each of them in a different way. Any questions? Please ask. c: I'm really sorry this part slipped my mind, I took my own land too much for granted, I understood it all, but I- it just slipped my mind. :p

    Beautiful reply, btw c':

I'm putting up my reply soon! I have no excuse not to, I'm having a day off <3 ]]

Thomas felt with his hand around in the dark until he found his bedside lamp switch. He looked around his room, blinking his eyes trying to adjust to the sudden brightness. When everything seemed to fall into the same familiar blurred view he almost automatically felt at his bedside table for his glasses.."Were is the stupid thing.." ..But then he remembered - contact lenses. ..great..this is harder than I thought.. Is it really necessary to put it in at this time of the night?.. But he knew sleeping was not an option. So discarding the lenses he turned and stood up from his bed - making his way over to the desk. On it stood a black box which looked as it is supposed to carry something confidential, but, by lifting it up the box revealed a rat's cage inside. "..cant' sleep buddy?" Thomas asked the rat which was perched inside the wheel - looking up at him with his beady eyes. Thomas invented the black box - which is soundproof to keep out the noise the rodent makes at night when running on his wheel. The box also has a small fan inside to keep ventilation. And a small generator which the wheel connects to, it can work up enough energy to charge a phone battery. Since Fred has to earn his keeping. Thomas smiled as the animal climbed off his wheel and put his two front paws against the cage railing. "Want to get out you?"He felt with his fingers until he found the latch of the cage, and opened it up. "There you go, you rodent" Fred scrambled out and into the faint light of the room - looking for his own kind of adventure. Thomas slumped down into his desk chair with a 'Sigh' - rolling his head backwards - trying to get the strain out of his neck. It seems so quite in the room suddenly - as if he could hear his own muscles twitch. His lack of sight made the place feel suffocating. ...Is it always going to be like this? ..over thinking in the middle of the night?..You know it can't change anything Thomas... He thought to himself. He dropped his arm unto the Desk - when it suddenly hit something, he heard it clatter to the floor. "Oh no.." Already guessing what it might be, he bends down to pick it up, and when he touched it his hand confirmed the form of a small metallic bird - his invention. It is an alarm really, and by going off in the morning in activates a movement which sends the bird up into the air, and fluttering down again, all while singing a rather annoying song. A small rocking motion makes it keep its balance when landing. Almost in the fashion of a wagtail. The point is to catch the tiny bird first before you can stop the alarm.
Thomas is rather proud of this little piece of art he made. It is almost like the bird got a personality by now - as if he raised it as a child. But it can not love me back.

He suddenly felt eerie. ..Robots loving back..That is just wrong. You can't make anything love you..Just can't. He fiddled with the tiny bird in his hands, turning in over. ...There should be something though...That makes animals...people love each other.
Thomas felt awkward with himself just then. "Better find that rat of mine.." He mumbled. Turning around, he stood up and slowly walked around the room to keep his balance - whistling. "...were are you buddy? ..time to put you back now, you.." He heard something that sounded like a marble roll across the room - and then the rat scrambling after it. " Fred? Come here you rodent - fre" the rat bumped into something with a thud , and then something started to rattle. " Hey, that's the mirror - Fred!" He quickly made his way across the room and pushed his two hand palms against the mirror to prevent it from falling over. It stopped rattling. Relieve washed over him..Fred scrambled up his legs and perched on his shoulder - leaving the marble in peace. " There now, you silly - almost made the ol' mirror crash to the floor did you? Now that would have raged mom, wouldn't it you rodent you?" he petted his one hand over Fred's back, stroking him. Fred didn't answer. Of course he wouldn't. Thomas felt a pang by hearing his own loud voice echo through the basement room. The contrast of the sound against the silence suddenly felt awful. He realized his one palm was still pressed against the mirror. He looked at the reflection it made in the faint light. ..Why does it still feel so familiar..after all this time. Thomas can't make out the rest of his figure - it is as if his arm is cut off on the other side, or the rest of his body is under water...he stared at the strange illusion..and felt so far away. Then hes blurred sight gradually cleared up - as if his eyes only opened now. And it opened to a clear, blue sky..
