new orleans, not only the hurricane capital of america, but also the supernatural capital of america. vampires, werewolves, hybrids, witches, the whole sort call this soul full city home. but this city is at war with itself. the vampires are taking over. there are so many of them, so little werewolves, and the witches are forced to live as humans without their powers. and the humans are killed off left and right.
lead by a hybrid, half vampire half werewolf, followed by his band of day walking vampires, he's got full control of the old town. the night walkers, vampires who cannot walk out in the sun, are causing a huge ruckus. killing tourists left and right, tourists because all the humans that lived there have all been dead and gone. and the hybrid lets them. the werewolves have to hide, those who shift into a dog sized wolf only on the full moon, if they haven't made deals with some vampires for protection, deals in which usually lead to a lack of fairness. and the witches are forbidden to use their powers, and if so? they'll be murdered in the center of the town for all to see. they cant leave because they practice ancestoral magic, and leaving new orleans means leaving their family, life, and legacy behind.
this war is nearing its peak. no one can take it any longer. even some of the vampires are taking note of the wrong doings and are leaving new orleans because war is healthy. even for the immortal. tension is running high in this soul full little town. no where is safe, especially at night.
