"Oh" Kacey said. "That's okay, I've driven this same car since I was 16, you get used to the size difference between this and normal vehicles after a month or two. Kacey was quiet when they pulled up to a run down No-frills, a large yellow and white grocery store, like a huge Costco. Kacey pulled her car behind the store, where there was several exits of the lot and there was an open door. She had only guessed it was open. She smiled when she say the sign. "Take what you need, stay safe" on the door on a piece of card board with red marker. She laughed a little to herself and closed the drivers door after taking the keys from the ignition and put them in her pocket. She locked the door after she opened yours for you.

i looked back to her and nodded some, giving out a stuttering sigh. I kept my eyes wide as i took in my surroundings, chewing my lip in slight nervousness. As soon as the other girl got out i gave another squirm, putting my hand on the latch of the door, about to open it when she did instead. i immediately shot out and gripped onto my shirt, furrowing my eyebrows and raising my head again, shivering and wincing. "thanks,"

"I have one important rule for us." She paused. "Two I lied" "One, don't doddle and two, only try to save what can be saved" She didn't say anything past that, she just walked away, trusting Thunder would close the car door. Kacey liked walking away on people, it set the mood for them to think about what she had said, if it made even the slightest sense to them at all. Kacey pulled gently on the door first, making sure it was not a trap and an alarm would be set if the door moved. She opened the door and stared in at a disarrayed grocery store, still fully stocked.

"haha, okay, first off, don't walk away," i began, shutting the car door a bit loudly. "second off, don't talk to me like i'm a child. i've been livin' off my own rules, which is none but stay alive. i don't have time to 'doddle' and i know how to survive. i know how to life off what i can, and i know not to be an idiot and go item crazy. i trailed after her, my fists slightly clenched as i walked in next to her, crossing my arms over my chest and clenching my jaw. "i suggest going after food and weapons. a few blankets and slash or tents would be nice too, perhaps some other survival stuff. a communication device like a walkie talkie would be extremely intrinsic, in case we get split up."

Kacey nodded. She had completely let go of what you had said before you started naming off stuff. Despite this being mostly a grocery store, it was like Wal-Mart, a little bit of everything. Kacey glanced up at her and picked something off the shelf. She read the label before putting it back. Kacey knew she should probably be wearing glasses, but she had no need, they'd get in her way. Kacey knew she had contacts in her car somewhere. She hadn't had the time to check yet. Kacey yawned a little. She had only shifted down the isle a couple feet before looking at you again.

i rolled my eyes some and looked down to the shelf closest to me, picking up the little keychain flashlight thing before tossing it back, shrugging and sighing. i wandered another few steps, just looking at the things assorted on the shelves. well, knives and stuff would most likely be in some hunting section. that or we could always grab a few kitchen knives. another few paces and i sighed once more, rubbing my eyes and giving a tiny, strangled sounding noise. okay. that was something we'd need. pain medicine. because my body ached worse than the time i fell out of the tall as ever tree and landed on a holly bush. as if that wasn't painful enough. i pressed my lips together and furrowed my eyebrows, cracking my knuckles as i walked, trying to find some advil or ibuprofen, more preferably. i didn't care, actually. just something to ease the pain.

Kacey sat down in the kitchen section and began taking knives out of the packages. She tossed them put a couple times before tossing them into a small plastic bin she had found it a section designated to storage. She stood up and brushed off her pants. She strolled around, peeking up and down isles as she slid the bin around. She planted it beside the door. The bin was only about 7" by 11" so it blended in with the other stuff. She got a cloth grocery bag and started to fill it with non-perishable foods like trail mix, kraft dinner, soups, crackers, a loaf of bred and peanut butter. Kacey could tell by the way Thundersnow roamed around freely without worry of finding peanut butter that she wasn't allergic. Kacey also took a case of bottles of water and a 6L jug of water and rolled them to beside the bin. She worked fast.

i ignored the other girl for now, as i was busy searching the aisles for the friggin' pain meds. i finally came across some allergy medicine, and kept looking. something, something... when i found it i immediately snatched it up, running halfway across the store for a bag and throwing it in. i kept moving throughout the store, picking up different medical aid stuff and anything i found that could be used as a weapon. and food. hopefully kacey wasn't allergic to anything. whatever. if she was, then she should of told me, because i wasn't about to stop now and go ask.

Kacey was walking around, looking for nothing specific in general when all of a sudden she started to get this feeling. A guilty feeling. She had nothing to feel guilty about, she knew that. Kacey yawned. Looking around. She didn't feel like she wanted to walk anymore. Kacey sat down on the bottom step of a stepping latter on the other side of the shelf that Thunder was on. Kacey sighed. It was not time to feel sick. Kacey glanced back over her shoulder at her, but a box of vitamins caught her eye from the shelf.
