United We Stand...
What if everything you knew was a lie? What if the world around you was crumbling and it was up to you and 13 others to come together and fight for your lives... and the lives of those you love? What would you do? Would you stand and fight, even if it meant working with your archenemy? Or would you abandon everything you've ever known and flee? You are not human. Of course, for all intents and purposes you appear and act just like any other teenager your age. But haven't you notices how your emotions tend to run hotter, higher than those around you?

See that guy over there? You always thought he just had anger management issues; and that girl over there? You just automatically assumed she is simply a kind person. But its so much more than that! You were created for a reason. You are the legendary 7 Sins and 7 Virtues. For centuries you have been reborn in earth, never realizing until its too late the power you posses. But now its time for you to rise and take a stand. A battle is coming; one far beyond that which Earth has ever witnessed. If you ever hope to overcome the long, arduous war ahead it will take courage, determination, and teamwork. Are you up for the task?

°This is set in the human world in Manhattan at a Private Boarding School. These kids have known each other their whole lives. The Sins naturally group together and oppose the Virtues and vice versa. But none of them know that they are the 7 Sins and Virtues yet°

THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS

The Queen Bee; Lust
Lust is the Queen Bee at Ravenwood Academy. She is adored and envied by all but no one envies her more than Envy herself. Lust and Envy are best friends. They have been since they met in Preschool. They are constantly side by side and she is the one Lust (stupidly) trusts the most. Lust is dating Pride. She has been for awhile. She loves Pride and is loyal to him to a fault. Of course that doesn't mean she can't flirt with others which she does but she has never and will never cheat. Lust has the power to make others fall in love, or out of love for that matter.

He is the quietest of the Sins. Gluttony is an excellent cook and loves to indulge. How he manages to stay skinny no one knows... must be good genes. Gluttony is well liked among the Sins because he is always showing off his skills and cooking for them. Gluttony has the power of Persuasion. It is very similar to mind control. He can implant an idea in one's head and influence them to do as he wishes. He is secretly in love with Forgiveness.

He is perhaps the least liked among the Sins. Greed loves money and material possessions. He is a skilled thief which is why most don't like him. Greed is an impulsive gambler. He stupidly accepts any bet no matter what the risk and is often viewed as unstable. Greed has the power of invisibility. How else do you think he always gets away with everything? He has been dating Envy on and off for years. They are currently on but with their love/hate relationship that could change at any moment.

Sloth is the lazy one. But it isn't just simple laziness he completely lacks drive. He is the class clown, the one everybody likes. He doesn't care that he is failing every class or that he will probably never graduate. He is constantly teasing his nerdy counterpart, Diligence. Though no one notices, Sloth is secretly depressed due to issues at home with his family. He is secretly crushing on Charity.

Spiteful, Uncaring, Unloving, Angry... all of these words could describe Wrath. He is a troubled young man. The death of his family in a fire when he was eight took its toll and being in foster care is a sore spot for him, Wrath is fascinated by Forgiveness and yearns to get close to her but he doesn't think himself to be worthy. Ironically enough, his power is to control and wield fire.

Ever hear the saying "Green with Envy"? Well that's Envy for you. Envy is a sly and cunning Witch. On the surface she is a great friend. She supports her lifetime best friend Lust in everything and is always happy to help out. But Envy isn't satisfied with second best. She wants to be Queen Bee and will do anything, even steal Pride, to get her way. She is in an unstable relationship with Greed but its anyone's guess how long that will last. Envy's power is very poisonous. She has the ability to plant doubt in the minds of those around her so that it might begin to poison their minds and turn them against their loved ones.

Pride is the most popular guy in school. He is the star quarterback of the Ravenwood Academy Ravens and has won numerous games already. Pride thinks he is all that. He is prideful, overconfident, cocky, and arrogant. He thinks most are beneath his notice and can be a bit of a bulky. Loyalty means nothing to him. If someone better were to come along, he would drop Lust in a heartbeat and right now he might just have his eye on Envy.

She can turn a bloodthirsty angry mob as docile as a bunch of bunnies with one smile!

Melody × Lilith; Melody (Lust) and Lilith (Forgiveness) are identical twin sisters born only three minutes apart! They are both remarkably similar and different at the same time. They aren't as close as most twins but they do have a tendency to complete each other's sentences.
Chastity × Charity; Chastity is Charity's older sister. They love each other dearly but Charity feels as if everyone treats her like a baby because she is Chastity's little sister. She often feels patronized, coddled, overprotected, and at times overlooked.
Sloth × Diligence; Sloth is Diligence's little brother. These two are constantly at war because they are also an opposing Sin and Virtue. Each strives to prove they are better than the other and they don't get along AT ALL.

While most call her Melody, she will also answer to Temptress, Seductress, or her favorite, Aphrodite.

Melody was born on December 19th, approximately 3 minutes before midnight, in the middle of one of the worst Blizzards Manhattan had seen in years. She is 16 Years old and a Sophomore at Ravenwood, though she also attended Ravenwood Academy Middle School, on the lower Campus.

Melody is a female.

Melody represents Lust, as anyone could easily tell just by looking at her.

Melody's opposing Virtue would be Chastity, and she is hellbent on changing Chastity's ways if it is the last thing she does.

Much like Aphrodite, Melody has the power to control who falls in love with who. Her powers barely work on the other Sins and Virtues, but humans are very susceptible. She is a notorious matchmaker because of this. Call it a sixth sense, but Melody can also sense a good match when she sees one. However in her own love life, she is hopelessly clueless.

Melody is born in Manhattan but her parents were French, making her French-American. She is fluent in both French and English, along with several other languages, and tends to slip into French when she is feeling strongly emotional.

Clothing Style~Click here for most of it. Grace enjoys wearing neutral colors, but will wear colors, as long as they are cool colors. She's not the biggest fan of warm colors. She tends to go for a simple long sleeved shirt and jeans, but will sometimes wear a dress, skirt, or shorts. Shoe wise, it's either flats, riding boots, or her favorite pair of Converse. Makeup and jewelry wise, she rarely wears either one of those except for on important days, but she always wears her heart necklace given to her by her grandmother, and will be often wearing nail polish on her very short nails. She's a bit OCD (CDO) and a bit of a Grammar Freak, so she aces English, has a very organized room, and will restrain herself from snapping at you if you have made a grammar mistake.
History~She was born in North Eastern Canada and move to America before she even was two months old. She's legally Canadian and American. She grew up in New York with her family, and went to the Ravenwood schools ever since she was small.
