Leanne glared at the girl with the swan wings once again, hurt by her words. "Fine," she muttered, turning away and walking away from the rude and brash girl. "Don't need you anyways." She sighed, fingering her bow again and clenching her teeth in frustration. She walked down the hallway, next to Cory. Her wings were still held tightly against her, from stress. She noticed when her back or body became tight, the same became of her wings. She shrugged, and her wings lifted a little as well. She cracked a dry, saddened smile as she glanced at Cory again, the pale light coming from a far away window reflecting off his light hair. His wings were shimmering with pale dappled light, making them seem less black and more iridescent.
She heard a voice call from behind her, and she turned back, seeing the boy with the golden eagle's wings calling. The girl she had seem earlier was standing there. Approaching her, she sniffled again, smiling. "Hey, I'm Leanne," she said softly. "I'm afraid I might have not made the best first impression on all of you, having a breakdown like that." Her smile dropped to the floor as she shuffled her feet, her black converse squeaking a little. She turned back the Cory, and then to the golden eagle boy. "So, right, ah, we have Cory, Sam, and I? I don't think I caught your name." She gestured to eagle boy.

It was the boy with eagle wings who spoke first, calling out to the other people. He seemed to be the most confident really, and his wings seemed to reflect that. They folded against his back much better than her own did, her own currently not folding at all. As he stuck out his hand, Sam hesitated for a second before deciding that, really, it would be best to try and get to know the other people.
"Nice t'meet you, I'm Sam," she replied, shaking his hand with her British accent coming out strongly. Then she glanced over to the other girl, one who she seemed to recognize. Oh. She had been the one who had burst in earlier but Sam had still been in shock and confused and sleepy at the moment, she'd assumed it was just her mind making it up or that she'd still been asleep. Obviously not though.
"It's fine, I actually kinda thought I was still dreaming or something when I saw you. I wasn't sure if you'd actually been there," Sam said, laughing slightly. Her wings rose up and spread slightly when she laughed before drooping again. Frowning, she managed to close them partially. How did Nic get his folded? It just felt... strange trying to control them.
