ｔｈｅ ｋｉｎｇｄｏｍ only knows one royal family. never two, or three, only one. it's been that for years, and by now, no one really know why it is that way. they just keep a straight face, and insist that it shall be law merely because their ancestors before followed it, and they weren't about to break tradition. anyone who every tried to change this was quickly recognized as a criminal, and it was the reason why the kingdom split into two. the royal family kept their kingdom in the east, and in the west a new kingdom was born, a new royal family was crowned, and new loyalties were set. villagers, huntsmen, black smiths, farmers, and even mages set their sites for this new kingdom. though many migrated to the west, those who were loyal to the east stayed, and were rewarded for such loyalty. the eastern kingdom now lives in fabulous wealth whilst the western kingdom thrives from it's numerous seaports that bring in all kinds of new things thanks to the pirates that sail the waters.

ｔｏ ｔｈｉｓ ｄａｙ the two kingdoms hold an infamous rivalry against each other. trading is near impossible without some kind of royal consent, and the borders are set and extremely obvious. the only ones who dare to cross these boundaries are the pirates who know no boundaries. townsfolk rarely cross the border, only because they fear that there is a consequence. the people of each kingdom are far too loyal to ever betray their king and queen by crossing the border. because of this, the kingdoms are kept in peace in their on little worlds. pirate tales are the only way that each side can learn about each other, but even then, a pirate's tale is always twisted and distorted to make it a little more interesting. the kingdoms are blind to the possibilities that can be found on the other side, some are very content with this, and others truly hate not knowing anything. some even wish to reunite the two kingdoms to their former glory.

ｔｈｅ ｅａｓｔｅｒｎ ｋｉｎｇｄｏｍ is where the original royal family lives in peace. it's castle is the oldest, and most refined, and it's people are the most loyal seeing as they did not migrate west with the newest royal family. the actons are the rulers here, and their blood is as pure as it gets, thanks to many years of marriages, and wars that have been won over hundreds of years. the castle of the royal family stands tall on cliff where it can stand tall above it's capital that is tucked in the middle of a large forest. the eastern kingdom does not have any seaports, but it has mountains, and lakes. it is a glorious territory filled with small villages and towns. most of the population, though, lives in the kingdom's capital known as glorieux. though the mountainous territory is hard for travelers to access, their is a main trail that leads from the western kingdom to the eastern kingdom's capital. this trail is made for merchants, traders, and of course the pirates that travel kingdom to kingdom. unlike most kingdoms, the eastern kingdom's capital is not locate in the territory's heart. in fact, it is relatively close to the border.

ｐｉｒａｔｅｓ are not loyal to anyone but their captain. what their captain says goes, and that's that. they rarely follow the laws of any kingdoms, and for that simple fact, they often allure new members of their crew. one one is a pirate, it is nearly impossible to discontinue a life like that until you are dead. pirates follow a strict code known simply as 'the pirate code'. there is no written code, but every pirate seems to know it. it is told to every pirate once they become a pirate. if one breaks the code, punishment can result in years and years of marooning or even death. the pirate life is not for everyone, but it is a glorious one. pirates are always traveling, and because of this they have the best stories to tell. they are always rich with treasures from other lands, and they are always willing to throw large celebrations in honor of their captain or their finished quest. when pirates are docked, they often go through town to sell or trade their goods. their treasure is valued all across the land because what they have to offer is extremely difficult to obtain. pirates rarely stay docked for long, but something about the eastern and western kingdoms always keeps them coming back.

ｔｈｅ ｗｅｓｔｅｒｎ ｋｉｎｇｄｏｍ is the newest kingdom in the land... even though it originated a hundred and nine years ago. though the royal family's bloodline is not exactly royal, it was formed by a prestigious general that once belonged to the eastern kingdom. the general was looking for equality, and where his king and queen would not deliver, he made his own kingdom. ever since the chorley made the move, the western kingdom has been living in peace and equality. the rulers of the kingdom are recognized as royalty, but they are treated as normal people just like everyone else. everyone in the kingdom is respected, and that is exactly what general chorley wanted. everyone who comes inside the kingdom is welcomed with open arms. even the pirates are treated with the utmost respect... even if they don't follow the law. the western kingdom consists of cliffsides, and foot hills that trail off from the eastern kingdom. the territory is more ocean-based, so the capital is stationed near the beach. the castle is high on a cliff where it can welcome ships sailing in.

* ｍａｇｅｓ are trained from birth. but it is never to late to start practicing magic. mages choose their fate at a very young age, there are only two roads for a mage. they can either choose the dark side of magic or the light side of magic. as soon as a mage lets their magic get to their head, it becomes dark. once a mage is dark, it is difficult to go back. mages look like ordinary people.

ｓｅａ ｍｏｎｓｔｅｒｓ do exist. but seeing as the pirates often lie about what they might look like, or what they might do, most have just assumed that pirates are just making things up. pirates don't mind that others don't believe them, only because sea monsters make great monsters in stories from months of sailing.

* ｗｏｌｖｅｓ are not as simple as you think they are. yes, there are normal wolves running around the forests in both kingdoms. but the wolves that are feared are the wolves that take on the form of humans. they cannot shift freely, but when they do on the full moon, they do not have control over what they do. packs are formed, but they keep what they are secret. there is only one way to prevent the shifting during a full moon, and that is an enchanted article of clothing or necklace that only a mage can make.

ｇｉａｎｔｓ are very peaceful creatures. they keep to themselves in both the western and eastern kingdoms. they do not attack unless attacked. a giant's duty it to grow magical beans, and trade them with the humans for food. the beans can transport anyone who holds it anywhere their heart desires, and they also have regenerative qualities. if a magical bean is planted with any kind of crop, the crop will grow extremely well. not only that, but the bean also has the ability to grow gold just like a carrot. pirates are often making an adventure out of stealing the beans from the giants, and because of this, giants do not trust pirates.

ｏｇｒｅｓ are feared all across the land. there was a point in time where the ogres ruled the land, but the humans quickly took over. because of this, the ogres hate humans. ogres live high in the mountains of both the eastern and the western kingdoms. but seeing as the eastern kingdom is a lot more mountainous, ogres mostly live in the eastern kingdom. anyone who is able to kill an ogre is highly respected, and thought of as a hero.

ｐｅｇａｓｕｓｅｓ are beautiful winged horses. they are very rare, and they travel in herds. only the best trackers have been able to catch a pegasus, and because of their bravery, pegasuses are being brought into the villages to be bred so that their population is back to it's former glory. pegasuses can now be owned by those who can afford their high prices.

ｕｎｉｃｏｒｎｓ should not be trifled with. they may be elegant creatures, but they are known to be very aggressive. their horn is not only for show, but it is used to display dominance. unicorns have been known to slay those who spook them, and that is why their population is so high. these are not the same unicorns you've heard about in story books, they are extremely dangerous.

* ｓｉｒｅｎｓ are a pirate's worst nightmare. they are pretty much mermaids, but they are known for drowning those who get too close. pirates and sailors alike have often fallen into the clutches of a beautiful siren. they have the most beautiful singing voices, their songs are known as 'death songs'. sirens are able to gain human legs, but only for half a day with out being totally submerged in water. they live in the sea of the western kingdom, and in lakes of the eastern kingdom.

* ｅｌｖｅｓ make the most loyal of friends. they will risk their lives if they believe in the cause. elves in the kingdoms stick to handy work like farming, baking, and sewing together clothing. they excel at skills like these because of their extreme level of concentration.

ｇｏｂｌｉｎｓ are hideous creatures known for their evil essence and their ability to easily manipulate. however, goblins are not all bad. they are also known for the magi supplies that they sell in towns all over. goblins often travel with pirates because of their sensitive sense of smell. goblins are used for tracking all across the land.

ｄｒａｇｏｎｓ can be all shapes and sizes. the most popular dragons are kept as pets, they are roughly the size of a cat, or a small dog. these dragons are domesticated from the second they hatch. pet dragons are not big on the trust, it takes years to gain a dragon's trust. they usually stick with one companion. bigger dragons are extremely dangerous creatures. the large dragons often stick to themselves high in the mountains in their exclusive dragon-covens. only some have been able to tame these giant beasts... and once these large dragons are tame, they can be the most loyal of creatures.

there are numerous slots, so it would just be plain rude of me not to let you guys fill those up. so I am going to set the character limit to three, one must be a male. I might raise this in the future, but for now we are going to stick with three.

I will supply you with a basic form, but if you would like to make your own, feel free to. I am not looking for anything big and impressive, just be sure to include your character's picture, their name, their kingdom, their age, their species, and their position in town (if they are a pirate, please just put pirate for both their kingdom and position unless they are something specific like a cabin boy). but I would like you to at least but some kind of effort into your form, make it organized if you are making your own.

I want to avoid clutter on this topic so it'll be easy to go through the pages to look at all of the character forms.

please stick to the basic rules of the role play forum. we do not need anyone getting banned because of what they post here. when you think things are getting a little too graphic, you are always welcome to time skip. just make sure that when you are time skipping that everyone in the role play is on the same page and gets that you are time skipping.

please do not leave anyone behind! if only two of you are online at one point, please do not role play back and forth for several pages. I will allow it for half of a page, but please don't stretch it. this is a group role play, and I want to make sure everyone feels included. this also means that I would like for you to make your characters open, and at least try to get them to interact with others. keeping to yourself is fine sometimes, but I'm sure we'd go nuts without a little interaction.

this is not necessarily a literate role play, but I would like for you to keep your posts at least border-line semi-literate. this means I would like you to write at least eight lines minimum per post. that's not asking for a lot, and if you can write more that is awesome. just make sure you put some meaning into everything you post, I do not want any one liners or anything. also, please make your posts organized. this means your character's name at the top 85-90 sized writing, and a little color if you'd like. just try to make your posts pretty.

the royal family is human, they are nothing else. they are not wolves, they are not mages, just humans. I would like for you to respect this. the same goes for pirates. pirates are just human. as for everyone else, feel free to make their species anything that is within this role play's limitations. be sure to read the about post before selecting a species.

Eastern Kingdom ▴ Horseman ▴ Twenty Mage

Lauren has long brown hair which reaches to her waist, and has dark blue eyes. But as it gets closer to the pupil, it goes slightly light blue. She has quite unusual eyes. Her cheekbones show out strongly and she has a small figure from all the riding. Her nose is quite narrow and points up at the tip. She has a terrible scar from her right eye to the edge of her lip. This hit was from one of the people in the higher 'classes. Laura is rather pretty. Otherwise.

Laura [nickname] has been living in the castle for a while, trying to keep a low profile that she has any magic. She does use it quite a lot, but she uses it for good. For her kingdom. She luckily got trusted by a small dragon which stays by her side. This dragon is as big as a husky and is a light blue with sharp ridges running down her back and a few sharp spikes on her tail.  She has icy blue eyes and is called 'Aqua' since she is blue. Nobody minds this dragon since it is small and doesn't cause any damage. Laura tamed this dragon when she was 10 and the dragon has kept by her side ever since. She is very loyal to her king and queen and would do anything for them. She sometimes can consider herself a servant since she will get them the things they need. She may not be a fidelites but she will fight and help protect the kingdom from any harm. Laura doesn't have any family besides her uncle and she lives with him. She tries to have as much adventure so she is out of his house most of the time. Unfortunately her mother and father were killed by ogres and she swears one day she will kill one, for them. She sometimes sneaks around the Kings and Queens quarters/ rooms, just curious to see what they are up to. She is quite the prankster and loves to fool around. Once she got caught by the King though and he was rather mad. He luckily didn't give her too much of a punishment though and is the main reason she does many things for them even if she is extremely loyal. She also got given a horse when she was 8, and has ridden it nearly every day since she got it. Her horse is an Arabian, a dark bay with four white stockings. He is very fast and she loves to ride him in the forest. She goes over all the logs and sometimes will ride him bareback in the forest. Considering she was born into a Horseman/Horsewomen family, she easily got a place as a Horsewomen. She completely adores horses. As you can see, Laura has very different personalities. Her most known personality is her being kind, helpful and sweet to everyone around her. But she has her flaws, she will sneak around, check out what everyone is doing and will play a few pranks. Some of them involving magic. She is otherwise very protective of her friends and her King and Queen. Laura is quite a mystery though as she doesn't let many things on, her face can be like a steel door which won't open for you. She keeps her emotions deep inside her but if she is bottled up for too long, she will definitely spill. If someone angers her or is rude to her, she will show back cheek. She doesn't tolerant rudeness unless it is a prank. But like I said, she is a mystery. There is so much more you don't know.

Western Kingdom ▴ Fidilite ▴ Twenty three ▴ Human

Eye colour; Theordoria's eyes are a light ocean blue, complemented by long black eyelashes.
➺ Hair colour; Blonde and comes down in curls to about her top rib. She likes to have her hair in elaborate styles although she is almost a "warden" of the town and needs to take more priority.
➺ Skin colour; Porceline white but with the occasional freckles ( that she hates ) that lightly coloured cover her body.
➺ Build; Theodoria is tall and slender. She has an hour glass figure although her collar bone line may be a little sharp. She is definitely more feminine and girly than athletic when regarding lines.
➺ Relationships. Theodoria has never been in a relationship but is straight. She is not really looking for love, more devoting herself to the people but she may have a slightly attraction to the prince... although that she would not confess.

Name; Theodoria Woods. Her name was passed down from her mother and therefore loves it very much.
➺ Age and Birth date; She is twenty three and was born on April the nineteenth. She acts her age although sometimes she may act older depending on what mood and situation she is in.
➺ Gender; She is female. Female and no other. She would not even dream of being something otherwise.
➺ Kingdom; The Western Kingdom.
➺ Species; Theodoria is completely human. She has no other blood line and secretly thinks this as a blessing. She is against pirates and sirens, not really liking them but will help them if she thinks the situation is right.
➺ Rank; Theodoria is a fidelite, swearing that she will protect the people. She is experienced in this and knows many people in the town.... including the pirates although she has never conversed with them.
➺ Personality good; She is loyal strong and will fight till the death. Theodoria is wise and knows what is right from wrong. She is very one minded enabling her to make fast decisions and she cares for people with kindness, hating to see violence. She is very respectful to people although she may put herself above others sometimes.
➺ Bad Personality; She is, as you know, sometimes willing to put herself above others.This is mostly subconsciously done but sometimes she doesn't think, consequently making things harder. Also, Theodoria can snap very easily, she doesn't even realize she does itwhich makes people slightly wary of her.
