Kayl stopped when the other girl called out to him, turning and seeing her stick out her hand for a handshake. He smiled and accepted it.

"Now see, that didn't kill you now did it? I find it's usually worth the effort to get to know people. Yiu may get burned occasionally, but sometimes people surprise ya. Anyway, as I said before, my name is Kayl. What's yours?" He said, still smiling at her.

Shruggging, she knew very well how badly people could burn you. "I'm Nina. Just so you know, once the show starts, unless you're on my team I probably won't be nice again. Sorry again. Um... A question. Why are you letting me cheat?" she whispered, afraid Mark would hear them. "I was so rude to you."

"Because I'm pretty sure that random wilderness is not very conducive to a vegan diet. Unless there's a vending machine hidden out there that I don't know about. Wierder things have happened, but I think that that's stretching it a bit. And if you can't be nice to someone you should at least try and be civil. Although as far as I'm concerned as long as you don't try and shove me off a cliff, we're good. Oh and if I accidentally forget your name I apologize in advance. I'm extremely bad at remembering names....I even once managed to forget my twin sisters name....and then she tried to strangle me...so yeah, if I forget yours, don't do that please?" Kayl said, shrugging and then smiling at her.

Nodding, she returned to her seat. Mark walked up to her and held his hand out, expression mischevious. "C'Mon Nina, hand it over," he ordered, and she frowned.
"What?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest and glaring. He waved his finger in her face.
"The bar. Give it up! No cheating," he chastised her, and she grumbled, handing it over. "There's a good girl. This is the kind of thing America wants to see."
"America's sick," she muttered to herself as he walked away. She watched as he ate it, tossing the wrapper to the side. "B---tard..." the girl growled as she slumped back in her chair, listening to her music.

Kayl pulled out a small notebook, wrote something down, and ripped the page out before putting the thing in his pocket. He went to walk past Nina (that is her name right? *sweatdrop* ) but tripped as he was right in front of her. He got back up after a few seconds though, and continued walking to a chair a few feet away, placing headphones in his ears and pulling up the hood of his jacket, while also pulling out a somewhat worn book to read. Back between Nina's feet, however, he had managed to place a small rectangular bar with a sheet of paper wrapped around it, which would turn out to be another of those vegan munchy bar things, with the paper being a note saying: 'My sister made me take this with me, but I don't eat the things. Don't let the director guy catch you this time! :p'

((I felt like being nice I guess. *shrugs* ))

Glancing down at it, she scooped it up in her hand. A slight smile cracked her face and she shoved it in her pocket, looking up to make sure Mark didn't see her. Returning to her iPod, she smiled a little, avidly slicing at the fruit on the screen. She should probably be nicer, but... you know it's not how she was. Her dad was an ass, so she built up a thick skin. She looked across at Kaylor, smiling. When he looked at her she mouthed a quick thank you, returning to her game.

Rhode started humming a random tune, kicking one of her feet into the air in time to the beat. She wasn't carrying anything, though, she wished she could have had a sweet before any of this happened, but no. The a** decided it was better to make her throw it in the bin. She glanced around at the seven others, not exactly paying much attention to any of them. They probably thought she was an emo. Heck, show'd how much they knew. Cutting yourself? That's just sick.

When he saw the girl glance over at him and mouth the words thank you, he smiled at her to show he understood before returning to his book, rubbing his left shoulder a little bit subconsciously. After a few moments of reading he decided to get back to getting to know the others, so he put his book away and walked over to the girl humming some random tune and looking vaguely ticked off.

"Hello, my name is Kayl. What's yours?"
