[Forsaken Moon]

"Here, I have a few in my bag, lemme get you one.." Kayl said, rummaging in his bag for a few seconds before producing a hair tie, holding it out to Julia.

"You know you probably shouldn't get in fights with the other contestants. You never know who you'll get paired with. That's why I'm trying to get to know everyone and be friends with them. That way, it won't matter who I get teamed with. It'll already be someone I'm friends with." He smiled, bouncing on his feet a little.

[Spoopy Season]

"Hey, it wasn't my fault she was cheating. She called me little. If she wanted little, I gave her little. 'YOU DON'T SUPPORT MY BELIEFS!!!' she says. Yeah, I kill animals all the time just for the heck of it!" She mocked. She took the hair tie and clawed her curly hair into a ponytail. She was a bit confronted by the boy's appearance. He had long black hair. She had never met a boy with such hair. The only ones she saw on the farm had it buzzed off once it hit their eyebrows.

"Well, it was one small vegan bar thing. A last item of comfort or something until she had to start eating whatever they gave us here or that she could get herself. You could have overlooked it. So it's not that surprising she got upset when you called attention to it." Kayl said, shrugging.

[Spoopy Season]

"It was a breach of the rules, mate. No exceptions. One thing I learned by living on the farm is tough love and good things are never free, you gotta work for them!" Julia always stood on the righteous side of things. She would always think long and hard about things before doing them if it required the thinking. The only thing she had was a small canvas bag that had a couple of extra clothes, a water filter, and her army knife. She wanted to pack as light as possible, knowing she would be in the wilderness for God knows how long.

"I believe people are more important than rules. Plus if you obsess over the little things that other people do, you'll lose your mind. Which is never fun, not at all.." Kayl said, rubbing his shoulder. Then he shrugged. "So what was growing up on a farm like? Was it interesting?" He asked.

[Remember that when they go into the forest they're not allowed to bring anything with them.]

Julia was surprised that someone was brave enough to ask her about life on the farm. Usually people assumed that she just woke up at the crack of dawn and shoved cow manure and drove a tractor around. "Well, I grew up around animals so I've gotten plenty of sun and freedom starting at a young age. Dad had a herd of cattle that multiplied so quickly we had to build a bigger fence every 6 months." She giggled. "Mom passed away from heart failure as soon as we moved there so we made the farm a success in her memory. She loved the outdoors so much. Then dad remarried and we had to move to the city. I take every chance I get to run for the hills and get back outdoors. Nature is such a real thing to me, I love the way this earth works!" Excited to speak about her passion, she started to smile again, thankful that Kayl had brought up the subject.

"Well its great that you have something you're passionate about. Not a lot of people have that nowadays. It's actually rather sad in my opinion...so, you like nature, but you also like rules, correct? That seems kind of strange to me..." Kayl said, tilting his head at the girl and smiling at her, more of his hair spilling out the side of his hood.

"If rules are set, then rules are to be followed. If you broke a rule in my house, it's very scary." She said scratching the dirt from underneath her fingernails. "What are you interested in? My first guess by the hair is.... music? Correct?"

"Except nature ignores the rules created by humans, doing whatever it please when it pleases. Life grows wild. As for your guess, no. I'm more into the scientific inquiry and analysis of the so-called 'supernatural'." Kayl said, smiling at her. "Though I do enjoy music, as well." He added.
