kuno walked out of the mess hall and to the tree house obstacle course. she stood quietly and watched to see who had one this time. she saw a lean figure at the tip standing tall with victory. she gave a small smile as she watched him. Kuno moved some blue hair from her face as she tried to figure out who the boy was, he looked familiar but she didn't recognize him. hopefully he will come down her way so she could ask him. He seemed interesting, he didn't seem to cocky about getting to the top first, but he was still happy. Nice trait to have. kuno waited till he finally came down and when he did she walked up behind him and tapped on his shoulder "excuse me, but what is your name, i feel that i know you but i can't out my finger on it."

A cool breeze floated through the training arena. Marcus leaned his head back a little and enjoyed it flowing over his sweating forehead. A finger poked him on the shoulder. He turned slightly and saw a girl with beautiful blue hair. A small smile crept onto his lips.
"Name's Marcus Flynn." He introduced, his hand raising for her to shake.

The young girl shot another arrow, before she decided she had gotten enough practice with archery. Retrieving her arrows, she presses a button on her bow and it turns back into a hair clip. Pinning her bangs back up, Sage scans the area. Walking out of the training arena, she stops and watches a people walk past her. Waiting until no one was watching, she ducks inside the cover of the forest. Sure, they weren't allowed in here, but Sage had nothing else to do. Summoning her bow once more, she nocks and arrow and holds it ready. Her stormy gray eyes scanned the area intensely as she searched for any sign of monsters. Finally, she starts walking her footsteps quiet.

Alanis rode quietly through the trees. Abe was calmed by now and walk along steadily. She shifted in her saddle and looked around. Birds flew around twittering and getting ready for cooler weather. A playful smile split her lips as she noticed a fallen log up ahead. She urged her horse into a canter and rose into a two-point as they jumped over. After lander, she gripped the reins tighter to bring him to a slow trot and laughed.
Her laughter was cut short when she heard movement in the trees. Quickly, she pulled the swords out of their sheaths and snapped the handles together. A string appeared between them and she knocked one of her arrows. Using her legs to stop Abe, she watched the trees down the length her arrow.
"Who's there?" She called out.

Hearing the voice, she turns around her bow ready. Stepping out of the trees, Sage smiles at the girl and lowers her bow. "Oh, hello." She says blinking. 'I didn't know anyone else would come into the forest. I'm Sage, Hunter of Artemis and daughter of Athena at your service." Glancing at the girl's horse she smiles, it was such a beautiful creature.

Alanis tightened her grip on the bow when a blonde girl with another bow stepped out of the trees. She stayed stiff until the girl lowered her bow and spoke. The camper slid her arrow back into the quiver with its seven brothers and pulled apart the bow, sheathing them. Then she dismounted while Sage introduced herself.
"Alanis, daughter of Apollo. And this is the Liberator, but I call him Abe." She introduced herself and the buckskin dapple Morgan gelding. He stretched his head out slightly, sniffing at Sage. Then he pulled his head against the reins in her hands as he tried to get closer to the girl.
"Must smell the Wild in you." Alanis stated quietly, mostly to herself.

Sage smiles and looks at the horse. "It's okay. A lot of animals are like that." She says lightly petting Abe. Turning to face Alanis, she asks. "How long have you been at camp for? I've been here before a few times, but I don't remember meeting you." The hunter cocks her head slightly thinking. Finally she adds. "Then again, it's been at least ten years since I visited. Maybe longer. After all, I live with the hunters and we are almost always traveling."

Alanis let the reins go loose as Abe moved around. She watched him for a moment before her blue eyes returned to Sage's grey ones. "I came here about three years ago. She thought about the first time she came to Camp Half-Blood. Most years she went back home after the summer, but this year she decided to stay. "It seems like such a long time ago." She tilted her head to the side slightly as Sage mentioned not being at camp for so long. The daughter of Apollo knew all about the Hunter's and their immortality, but it was still a shock to know this girl who looked about her age was much older than she appeared. "Well, it's been much longer for you. If you don't mind my asking," She started shyly. "Do you enjoy being with the Hunter's. I mean, it must get tiring, running around all the time."

"Occasionally, but it's better than my old life. Besides, I don't have any family to miss. All my direct family is probably dead by now." Sage says shrugging. It had taken her awhile to get used it, but she actually kind of enjoyed it now. "I became a Hunter before I came to camp, so I don't really miss this place to much." Sighing, she smiles and says. "Not that there's any point in telling you this. You can't exactly do anything about it."

She must have been a Hunter for a while if her immediate family is gone. Alanis thought. Then she shook her head, a polite smile forming. "No, but I like learning different, I guess not cultures, but you know what I mean. She was more than a little curious, truth be told. She had been thinking about being a Hunter of Lady Artemis. But she never did. It wasn't the idea of never dating or anything, she never did that anyway, but it was her family that stopped her. Unlike most half-bloods, she had a good relationship with her parents.
