GAME OVER
The words flash at you, plain white over a black abyss. You sigh, leaning back in your chair. That's the third time tonight you've died on a fairly simple course. You spin in your chair, eyes closed, as you press the ENTER button, bringing you back to your headquarters, one of the only safe places in the game.
Suddenly, something peculiar starts to happen. A tingling starts in your fingers, quickly moving up your arms. It's spreading to your legs, into your torso. You leap from the chair, on the verge of panic. Your body is becoming lighter and lighter, and a ringing starts in your ears. A bright white starts to fill the edges of your vision, and suddenly, everything is white.
Then, silence. You look around, not trusting your vision.
You must accept the impossible.
You are in the game.
