◖ Luke ran his fingers through his dirty blonde hair, fixing it in the way he wanted it to lay. Luke then sighed as he looked up to the sky, he hated being away from home, he wanted to go back-to help Hailee his little sister... but no, he was shipped off to this island filled with kids supposably like him. "Psh, no one's like me.." he muttered "I don't have crazy powers, I can't control anything" luke kicked at the ground, "the only thing I can do is be destructive.." he finished, staring hard at the dirt ground.

This girl is very quiet and reserved, although her mind is simply overflowing with thoughts and ideas. She is almost always quiet, and never seems to have anything to say no matter what. It is usually a surprise to most people when she talks, since it's quite a rarity. But if she does, it means that she is fond of you and may see you as a friend. Her mother is the goddess of the hunt, and it sure shows up in Lauren's personality. Ever since she was old enough, she's been a natural with a bow or gun, as if they were meant for her. She loves animals, and isn't afraid of getting a little bit of dirt under her nails.

Growing up without a mother isn't really the easiest thing, you know. Other than that, Lauren's had a very good life. Her daddy loves her, and they both live out on a little country farm in west Texas. Suhe's never been told about her mother yet, and has definitely been it hung to know what the deal is with the woman.

Lauren has gorgeous light brown hair that has streaks of golden blonde scattered throughout it. It reaches down to her mid-back, and it's slightly wavy. She's tanned from days and days of hard work of helping her father out at their farm. She has a pretty petite build, and is of average heighth for her age.

Selena rubbed both her arms, now only waist deep in the water. "ICE....COOOLLLDDD!!!" She quickly tried running out of the water, but was a slow as a tortoise with her attempts. Finally reaching the dock, Selena wrapped the towel around herself and started walking back to the cabins. A few squirrels stopped in front of the girl, and she stopped as well, crouching and stroking each one before the furry little creatures disappeared into the underbrush. Selena half smiled and continued on her way, whistling quietly. She saw the cabins ahead and now started to run, the cold starting to get to her. "COLD!" She half screamed, opening the girl cabin doors and running into her room and trowing herself onto the bed. She instantly cuddled up under the covers for awhile, before standing ad walking to her closet. After some debate, she pulled some grey skinny jeans, a white top with a flock of black birds on it, and a red beanie, also pulling on some jean Convers. Selena then walked out of the cabin, sitting herself on the side of the cabin, in the shade as she texted her friends at home.

Sam Westwing...

Sam finished his cogwork in a matter of seconds, the bronze gearing flying into a single being, and clicking to life with a few little taps in the right places. He held his hand up to stare at the little bronze-geared hummingbird in the light while it fluttered its wings to test if it could fly or not. Sam watched as the bird made a few little hops before drawing his hand out from under the bird, forcing it to beat its wings fast enough for it to take flight, which it did. The little bird shot off through the woods with a glee of new life and Sam figured it'd be safe to follow it. He pushed himself to his feet and checked the thick chain straps of his cauldron to make sure they were supporting the beast of a backpack's weight before he started to jog after his new creation. The bird made it all the way out to the cabins before Sam knew things were going wrong. One wing was beating faster than the other, making it lean and swerve as it flew, and eventually the whole bird jammed and it shot through the Hermes cabin window, and Sam winced as he heard the smack of the bird against the wooden wall on the other side. "Aaand there goes number 6..." he muttered to himself before knocking on the Hermes cabin door to apologize for any sort of damage he'd caused.

A knock on her cabin's door made the girl lift her head, as she stood and looked at the broken window where a little bronze Hummingbird lay on the window sill. She stuck her hand in through the window, and cupped up the little bird which had knocked over her vase which had a few little flowers in it. Nothing special. Selena walked to the front door where a guy stood. She smiled softly, and tapped him on his shoulder. I'm guessing this is yours? Poor little thing flew into my window!Selena mused, stroking the little bird softly.

Sam scratched the back of his head with an embarrassed blush. "Heh, yeah, sorry about that, the smaller things need a bit more fine tuning." he said, picking up the bird and placing a finger on the left wing. As he drew his finger back the wind dismantled into sheets of metal and gears, splaying out in a blueprint format before he pushed his finger back and the wing reformed on the bird. With a loud whirring sound and a chirp the little bird spun it's head around and took to the skies again. "Sorry if I broke anything inside, I can fix that window for you if you'd like, it'd only take a second." he offered, trying to ignore the girl's eyes, as they were currently becoming way to interesting to look at without staring.

Selena smiled briefly, her eyes moving to the broken window and then back to the guy. That would be much appreciated. Oh, I was gonna see if I could remodel this ugly cabin anyway. Atleast it was a a start. She laughed, trying to brighten the mood. Selena opened the door, keeping it open if he wanted to come in as she went to go pick up the broken vase. Selena crouched down and picked the wilted flowers, throwing them in the trash can with a big piece of Jade vase. She then got a broom and started to sweep the rest of the pieces outside.
