Selena is rather "Crazy", but of coarse in a good way. She is a total prankster, and is always trying to make things fun. She is sometimes a bit of a brat, but otherwise is pretty cool to hang out with. Selena will tell you straight up if she doesn't like you but it will take her some time (especially if you are a guy) to call you a friend, or more than a friend. Selena doesn't like those, sassy, "Popular" girls and so you'll mostly find her hanging out with the guys, instead.

Selena grew up in Sidney, Australia. She always kind of liked the heat, and the Kangaroos of coarse. But at the young age of 3, her mother insisted they move to the cold city of New Hampshire. Selena turned into a catty little girl, hating the cold, hating her mother, hating school and hating everything around her. Finally, when she was 13, her mother said they could move to LA, Calfornia. Selena cheered up when they got there, her needs satisfied completely.

Selena has soft, pale skin which sometimes gets tan but just seems to go pale again. Her hair is rib-cage length, and a beautiful silky black. Her eyes, are of a light blue color almost seeming to turn white when it get super hot or super cold. But a lot of people say they are gray, but Selena always protests to say they are light blue. Anyway, this girl wears formal but casual clothes. She likes wearing beanies, and also wearing guy skinny jeans and hightops. She does have her flaws though, in her wear. She can't seem to not wear guy shoes! Anyway, this girl is actually quite a good singer and belly dancer, though she never would sing out or dance for anybody. Not even her family.

Alex is a pretty sweet young woman, though she can be a bit hot-headed when she's pushed. She's generally very kind and caring, especially to animals and children, though it has little to do with her so-called gift. More than anything though, Alex loves the darker or macabre parts of life. While she can sometimes seem to be lacking in confidence, it's really not the case. She feels content with watching other people, studying the way they behave and speak, rather than jumping into conversations. I can say that she's most comfortable when she's out of the 'real world' and in her own head.
Once she's in "her space", it's as if all else floats away. It's where the real Alex is able to shine through.
Alex is a good friend, and she's there when they need her most. She can be independent to a fault if she's not careful, but her loyalty cannot be matched. She has a good head on her shoulders and trustworthy instincts that rarely lead her astray. It's when she's not listening to her heart and head that she gets into trouble, and trust me, she's had her fair share of it. Alex has her reckless moments where she'll do just about anything she wants to, whether it's safe or not, but she's usually pretty lucky about not getting hurt or caught. Being a bit of an empath, Alex is good at reading a situation and the people around her, thus is able to talk her way out of trouble when it actually catches up to her- at least most of the time.
As I said, she can be rather hot-headed; that temper of hers knows how to boil over if she doesn't keep it in check, and the results can he hazardous to herself and those around her, whether she means for them to be or not. Even so, she knows how to tell a joke to cheer people up and is always there as a confidant when she's needed. She can be a bit of a nerd or goofball, but don't let that scare you off! She's a pretty good gal, you just have to get used to her quirks.

Alex didn't have a bad life per se, but she definitely used things like books as an escape early on.
Alex never really fit in with 'the crowed', but she didn't really mind it either. Her parents died before she could even remember, so she was put into the system, only to be adopted at age eleven by a very nice, loving couple. I know, shocking that such an older child was chosen, but such was her luck. They had stopped by to see the art room where Alex had sat painting a picture of the ocean, a scene which she had never witnessed herself but longed to. The couple had sat beside her and watched her work, complimenting her as she went and coaxing her into conversation, something not many could do in those days. By the end of their visit, the couple had decided, and it was only a few weeks of paperwork before she was moved in with them, into a house right by, you guessed it, the ocean. They had since moved, but her wish had been granted.
Although she was and is very loved by her adoptive parents, they always knew she was different just like she did, and it seemed that others could sense it too. Ostracized at school, Alex kept to herself. Finally, Alex's abilities began to really take shape. She was sent to the island, and has been there since.
Without the love and support of her parents, she wouldn't have made it this far without just diving into that deep blue abyss and never surfacing again. Now that she's here though, she finally belongs.. At least in part.

Alex is pretty, if not a little average looking. Her skin is between tan and pale from the time she spends outdoors or doing something inside, and is unmarred except for a small scar that runs lightly through her right eyebrow. She has always had smooth skin and hasn't had blemishes since she was in middle school, something she's thankful for. Her eyes are a bright, emerald green that are framed in thick, dark lashes which make them look larger than they are. Her hair itself is a deep brown that shines with the slightest hint of reddish undertones. She keeps her hair cut short, mostly because she prefers not having to worry about it, but it also feels better. Alex has a pretty smile and soft, pink lips that cover her straight, sparkling teeth. She smiles when she's shy, happy, and even when she's mad, so the only real rarity is when she grins genuinely.
Standing at 5'6", Alex isn't the tallest person around, but it's okay with her. She's not a heavy-set girl either, but she does have nice feminine curves, one that get her more attention than she actually desires. That's part of the reason why she wears things like tee-shirts and jeans, or other outfits that don't show her off all of the way. Even her swimsuits are rather modest for these modern times, as she prefers a one-piece to a bikini. Alex is most often seen with her hair slightly messy, her body sporting a comfortable shirt and some faded jeans.

So the basics then? SJ is a nice, friendly guy, a real team player. He's easy going, easy to get a long with, and just easy in general. Well, not really the last one- he's a virgin. Shocking, I know. Loyal and kind, Skye strives to make people laugh, as he's just a real sweet kid. He enjoys singing or playing the guitar, sometimes at the same time, and doesn't mind preforming for people if it means cheering them up.
Though he's a sweetheart, SJ is a self-proclaimed "awkward turtle". What's he mean by that? He sometimes doesn't know what to say, or says the wrong thing. Even though he really wants to be everyone's friend, he can kind of screw social situations up, making him feel embarrassed and sheepish. That doesn't mean that he's some pushover that's easy to manipulate though- he stands up for what he believes in, for what he sees as right, even if he gets into trouble for it. He isn't one that will go looking for a fight, but he'll be the first to jump into one to defend someone.
That being said, SJ can have a bit of a temper. I know, it sounds strange that such a fluffy guy could blow his top, but he can and, when pushed enough, will. Skye has dealt with a lot of things in his life- his lacking a mother, a not so happy home life, and all that jazz, so it's not as though he doesn't have some anger stored up anyway. When you threaten his friends though, things can get a little crazy.

History? Well, there isn't much to tell. SJ is your average guy; plays sports, he has pretty good grades.. He sort of just let himself be in the background, though everyone liked him pretty well. That is, until he realized something big about himself. Since that realization, he was treated differently, like he was somehow lesser or a bad person because of it. It was something he didn't understand, but he learned from it. To this day, he tries to hide it and not mention it, fearing it will lose him all of his friends. After all, he grew up hearing it was bad. What part of himself does he hide all of the time? He happens to be attracted to men. He finds it sadly ironic that he can help others with love, though he can't find it himself. At least, that's what he thinks. Deep, deep inside, he still holds on to the hope that there's a man out there for him, somewhere. He just has to keep looking. Maybe even here on the island..

SJ is an attractive man, easy on the eyes if you ask most girls. With short, blond-brown hair that has just the right amount of tousled curl, Skye can pretty much just get up and go (after doing the basics, that is). His skin tone is somewhat tan from the sports he used to play, baseball and swimming, and has a few scars, though they're covered by his clothes. That, he makes sure of. SJ's eyes are a beautiful gray-blue color with hints of green, and they hold a gleam in them when he laughs or smiles. Sometimes he has a little bit of scruffle on his face, other times he shaves it off- it all just depends on how he's feeling. Normally, Skye just wears jeans and a tee-shirt or button up shirt. Standing at 6'2", he isn't the tallest but isn't the shortest either.

The wind blew through her beach blonde hair as she walked along the sand. Her nicely tanned skin almost match the hue of the ground at dawn. Aqua didn't have the most restful night, so she decided to get up a bit early and spend the extra time where she loved to be. The ocean. In this distance, Aquamarine saw the air acrobatics performed by a pod of dolphins, and their squeals and clicks could be heard quite clearly in the morning air. Aqua smiled. Oh how she loved to watch the marine animals. The fish with their brightly colored, flashy scales. The whales with their songs that are a treat to the ear. And, of course, the dolphins, which are always grinning in happiness. With the cabins now quite a distance behind her, Aqua stopped and faced the water. Her hands raised from her sides, palms open. A single drop of water rose from the sea, following the movement of Aqua's hands. Aquamarine raised the droplet a few feet from the water's surface, then pulled it towards her, letting it come to rest in her hand. Her blue eyes turned downward to see her own reflection in the drop. The sight made her smile, and she closed her hand around the drop. For any normal person, the drop would just slip away through their fingers. But Aqua was the daughter of Poseidon, so the droplet would stay in her hand until she released it. Aqua, though, planned on keeping the small piece of the ocean with her through Mythology and Power Fundamentals class. It was always a comforting thing to have a piece of the sea in her hands.

It's mornings like this I remember. The sky is perfectly blue with fluffy white clouds. There is just the slightest breeze to carry my voice across the field. The sun is shining through the leaves of the trees. Perfection... Life at it's best. I know it's going to seem selfish but, I feel like there is still something missing. Maybe it's a friendly face to share this glorious morning with or a laugh to share with someone under the bright morning sun. I guess I should appreciate the fact that I can lay in the grass without being hungry, thirsty, or sickly. So I appreciate. I sit up and place my guitar by my side. I tilt my head back and look up at the sky with a content smile. And in my mind, I say thank you. I say a true and sincere thank you for everything. The only missing part is someone to thank...

Selena walked quietly on the dirt path, leading into the forest. She tilted her head this way and that, her fingers busily messing with her long black hair. When I'm gone, when I'm gone, your gonna miss me when I'm gone! Your gonna miss me by my hair your gonna miss me everywhere or your sure gonna miss me when I'm gone! The girl happily sung, now swaying left to right. As the lake came into view, Selena adjusted her black bikini bottoms, her pink polka-dotted towel over her shoulder.Selena pranced over to the deck, and peered over he side, looking into the crystal clear water with curiosity. Selena dropped her towel on the ground, and waded herself in, smiling and giggling at the fish.

This girl is very quiet and reserved, although her mind is simply overflowing with thoughts and ideas. She is almost always quiet, and never seems to have anything to say no matter what. It is usually a surprise to most people when she talks, since it's quite a rarity. But if she does, it means that she is fond of you and may see you as a friend. Her mother is the goddess of the hunt, and it sure shows up in Lauren's personality. Ever since she was old enough, she's been a natural with a bow or gun, as if they were meant for her. She loves animals, and isn't afraid of getting a little bit of dirt under her nails.

Growing up without a mother isn't really the easiest thing, you know. Other than that, Lauren's had a very good life. Her daddy loves her, and they both live out on a little country farm in west Texas.
