- It stayed silent for a while, and Corbett fell into the usual silence that often fell between them. Kuno never had been one to talk, and keep talking much like Corbett often was himself she seemed to be that speak when spoken to type. There was absolutely nothing wrong with that, he had never liked those girls that once there mouth was open, its never shut up. He found them to be rather annoying and them always seemed to be a bother to him really, which was ironic by how many seemed to flaunt over him when school was in. Corbett quietly tapped his thumb to the barely audible song coming out of the radio speakers. He was mostly just focused on the road, and his own thoughts not really expecting the girl beside him to say anything until he broke the silence. Taking a corner smoothly he kept a comfortable yet just slightly above speed limit pace, the yellow line whizzing past under the tired as they ate up the tarmac.
It took his off guard when she finally spoke, her quiet voice peeping out into the silence like a lamb afraid to venture to far from its mother but yet brave enough to stand tall when in the face of danger. She was definitely complex- another one of many things Corbett liked about Kuno. He relaxed slightly into his seat and glanced over at her"She's good, thanks. All better now finally got that dumb cone off her head"he said with a cute little smirk dancing on the corners of his mouth. His eyes ventured back to the road. It was strange to Corbett how being this thing he could still somewhat have a normal-ish life? It wasn't much of one but it was better now that Kuno had stepped in and dragged him out of the gutter he had been washed into. She may not have known it, but she had played a huge role in bringing Corbett out of a rough spot, that he probably wouldn't have been a part of much longer.- Corbett didn't now how to keep this going, what else could see say Ace seemed fine when he had been at the house, so asking would be pointless. "do you have any plans for the summer?" he asked.
